"Quick prototype tests"
4.5/5
What do you like best about UXtweak?

The detail of the paths which you get from the respondents after they wander around your prototype surprised me when I saw it for the first time. We were used to getting recordings of screens where we could see the mouse movement and guess if the respondent was or wasn’t confused. But with the paths laid out in front of us, we were able to see all the confusion in one place. The great feature was that the results also came with the number of respondents for each of the paths, and you see right away which points of confusion were what led most of them astray.

The results also come with a simple export option which was great. Before I needed to prepare the PDF with all results by myself, and it took me ages. Here it’s just one click.

Also I loved that all you need to do when you want to invite someone into your study is that you send them the link to the study. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UXtweak?

It wasn’t clear at first if I should use the One-to-one mode or the simple mode with my prototype. The upload of the prototype itself didn’t take long, but for some reason the loading of the hot-spot editor took ages each time, even after the first load in the current session.

It seemed a bit chaotic that I was first shown the task setup and was prompted to add pre-study questions afterwards. In my opinion the setup flow should align with the study flow.

I also don’t really like the color scheme of the dashboard, but that is just my pet-peeve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A very user friendly experience throughout (Tree/Card test)"
4.5/5
What do you like best about UXtweak?

The product is very nicely designed and packed with features. I could only try out the tree/card test with limited time, but I'm delighted with what I found within the trial. As a visual designer, the product was able to help me quickly navigate around and jump straight into using and testing.

Generally, the product is super easy to use and very stable. Supports testing on both mobile and desktop platforms. If you're UX researcher or someone like me coming from a visual background trying to get a hand on testing out user research then this is the tool for you to try out and you will not be disappointed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UXtweak?

-better branding (currently only allow logo and colour)

-better UX/UI (probably it's top on the chart right now against competitors, but some stuff seems confusing or strange positioning etc.)

-more robust support for PDF exporting (web portal is much better, PDF is less valuable. Ended up taking a screenshot of the web portal instead

-better support for filtering results (currently, it can turn on and off, but it would be nice to filter via. i.e. completion time, user location etc.)

-similarity map doesn't allow for 50+ items to be screenshotted easily (you have both horizontal and vertical scroll bars, even zooming out didn't help that much)

-auto-save feature for constructing questions/tutorials has bugs. I often type out a paragraph thinking it's been autosaved, but only later to find out many of them went missing. So I used a small trick: copy-paste a lot of the content or opened it up again to ensure it's saved before moving on to the next thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Competitive testing helped us make our webpage more accessible to users."
4.5/5
What do you like best about UXtweak?

We used UXtweak for various research projects, most recently we used competitive usability testing during redesign of your website. It allowed us to easily benchmarke our website against our competitors. We got to see what they were better at and where they were lacking behind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UXtweak?

There is nothing I would point out, since our usability tests were heavily focused on competitive testing only, meaning we didn’t use the product to the full extent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best tool for card sorting that I could find on the market."
5/5
What do you like best about UXtweak?

I used Uxtweak for card sorting. Before using UXtweak, I researched and tested many different platforms, however, only UXtwek met my requirements. I liked the flexibility that it offered. It allowed me to include statements in two languages on the cards, which was an essential requirement for my research project. I needed to obtain open, multiple sorts from each participant and the platform made it easy to design. It is a great tool for big-scale and small-scale research projects.

The customer service was excellent too. Communication was easy, and the staff was very competent, supportive, and friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UXtweak?

I do not have anything negative to say about this product. My only comment would be that the process of sorting can be a little technically difficult to do on a mobile device for some participants. It is doable but needs some practice. It is not an issue, but it is something worth explaining to research participants. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about UXtweak?

I have used the Tree Test functionality. It is really quick easy to set-up a study. Very user-friendly interface. And the results are well presented, easy to analyse and have great visualisations. It made it very easy to present results to our stakeholders. Absolutely loved it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"UXtweak made it easy to evaluate important stimuli for our project at university"
5/5
What do you like best about UXtweak?

The Card Sorting function in UXtweak was easy to use. Simple yet more customizable than others platform configuration and supports using pictures as cards, which was essential for our study about peoples ability to recognize emotions with and without face masks. The analysis possibilities gave a in-depth view on our results as well as a great and quick overview, making it possible to do some well argued conclusions for further work. We will defiantly use UXtweak again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UXtweak?

The only thing that come to my mind is that it would be nice, if it was possible to make pilotstudies. That is, making the Card Sorting study active, get some responses, look at the data and then have the possibility to change in the setup again before final release. "Perfect tool for card sorting"
5/5
What do you like best about UXtweak?

Step-by-step card sort set-up and execution made it easy for even our junior researchers to use. Overall allowed us to collect and analyze our results to improve our website- and that’s exactly what we needed.

Not only was the tool great, but the customer service was what made this a perfect experience. We received assistance directly from the CEO and he was extremely kind and helpful. Will continue to use this service for our UX needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UXtweak?

Maybe add more than one screener question for the card sort.

Other than that, we haven’t explored the rest of the features (there are a lot), but based on our experience with the card sort, UX tweak seems great for our UX needs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great tool and great service"
5/5
What do you like best about UXtweak?

The tool is by far one of the best out there - before picking UXtweak for a card sorting study, I did a lot of research on which tools would provide the most flexibility. UXtweak wins by far. It's easy to use and their customer service are helpful and quick to respond. I will definitely be recommending UXtweak to other UX practitioners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UXtweak?

If I have to pick something, it would be that UXtweak uses quite a bit of power, but this is a really minor thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Saving time in reviewing results with advanced filters"
5/5
What do you like best about UXtweak?

In their session recordings they offer a "SmartSearch" feature which is the most complex filters I came across. You can filter out user sessions upon any event they took during their visit on your web. Apart from session recordings they offer a lot of other research features making it a great value for your money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UXtweak?

I thing the UI could use some work but I saw that they are working on full app redesign. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
