**Reviewed by:** Nina B. | Content Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

It's super easy to use -- I've pitched it to my friend as a Duolingo for UX. I like the idea that you can do little exercises every day, or even more if you want! It gives you motivation to learn every day which is especially important for beginners.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

Some practices are not that straightforward, you really need to seek the details. Some questions can be answered in more ways than one, as well. I suggest everyone to take notes and go over same lessons multiple times to get the gist of it.

For me, UXCEL strikes the perfect balance between fun and depth of information, making it an invaluable resource for anyone in the dynamic field of UX design.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

One aspect that could be improved is the language barrier.
As a non-native English speaker, I've noticed that some technical terms differ in my native language, which can sometimes make it challenging to use some of what I've learned in my work.
It would be amazing if UXCEL could offer translations.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping me build UX skills through quality content and fast-paced learning, improving my chances of growing in this career.

  ### 6. Makes UX learning easier

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

Bite-sized, digestible lessons make it easy to learn and revise UX/UI techniques and theory. I find learning easy, especially if I learn while completing the assignments. The way the lessons are broken up also make it easier to learn without having to sit down for hours to digest these learnings. I can complete assessments and take lessons while I'm on the go with the mobile application. The gamification mechanism similar to Duolingo has also provided for more motivation to complete the lessons and assesments

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

Might be good to be able to have access to the lessons that are already completed for revision. Theory lessons might be a little too compressed which might make answering a little difficult at times

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me to revise design theory and also helping me to be equipped with more theoretical skills while on the job as a UX/UI designer

Another giant LIKE to the mobile app. Since its release I've doubled the time spent learning due to the convenience of doing it anywhere and anytime.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

The courses are very well designed, they gradually get more complex and detailed at a perfect pace, so it is easy to get stared but it does not get dull later on. The platform provides numerous sources for each lesson so you can always do more research outside of Uxcel as they link a lot of papers supporting their lessons. It is also very effective in encouraging the user to practice every day and keep going to achieve milestones in the courses already started. The Customer Support was helpful when I had some issues.

Some questions are repetitive and sometimes the test answers are amusingly easy, but that is only the case in the basic levels of the courses so I guess it is understandable in some cases.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

Uxcel does a great job of making learning easy - both in terms of the UX on the platform and the way that it enables short learning bursts instead of long lessons.

For me, it's been a great way to explore UX topics I wasn't that familiar with before (with me being a career changer from another field). And when looking at learning content in areas I am familiar with, it seemed to be pretty good, which gave me confidence that the rest of the learning content is up to scratch as well.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

To be honest, at times it feels a bit superficial. I wouldn't really hold it against the platform given the low cost and concept of it. But you're not going to get in-depth lessons on how to use certain tools, for instance.

The problem of learnign UX in a way that is bite-sized, engaging, and also thorough. I like how its built overall. The lessons are structured in chunks of information so you can try to study for a minimum of 5 minutes a day and how there's a leaderboard and streak to see your progress. I've enrolled into other UX courses and the main differentiator for me is how good their app is. normally i would use the desktop to study. The mobile and app version is very intuitive. there's no excuse not to study. Apart from that, I love how the UI design is modern, that I have the ability to save lessons and how there are challenges and assessments available.
