## Uxcel Reviews
  ### 1. That's how we should learn everything in life. Even when the questions are repeated it makes sense.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stevan S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

Uxcel helps you love the things you thought were your least favorite in design.
Conceptual, but also micro, rather specific, knowledge and insight are dosed very nicely and deftly through the lessons themselves. The lessons themselves effectively deliver both conceptual and micro-level knowledge and insights, with a good balance of specificity. Engagement is brilliantly executed with perfect gamification. It encourages self-challenge rather than creating pressure and anxiety through comparison with others.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

After my experience the only thing that was issue for me is mobile design for specific screens.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me personally, the problem that was solved the most is that I got an insight into systematized knowledge, with a nice distribution and distribution of the content itself, sections, design phases. Nowadays, the Internet is full of unsystematized knowledge.

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

The best thing is to learn and practice at the same time. They have all from beginners to advanced in several different topics and levels in an amazing interactive way of learning like Duolingo. Go for it. It was made from designers to designers.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

The only thing is that some lessons are locked and require you to go through one by one to unlock it. I understand the reason behind the learning steps but it would be great to also access further knowledge.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mariah R. | UI/UX Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

Lessons are done in a quiz format. You try to answer a question, and whether you are right or wrong, you're presented the information. I find this a nice quick way to see where the gaps are in your knowledge, and what you confidently already know.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

I wish there were ways to push your actual design skills. You can be given the knowledge, but there's no one to tell you that you're applying it incorrectly.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Want to transition to being a UX Designer? Well UXcel is an affordable option to gain certificates, and fill knowledge gaps. After collecting several course completion certificates, and sharing them on my Linkedin, I was eventually hired as a UX designer. That's what I do now, and I love it.

  ### 7. Effective learning with games and tests !!!

**Reviewed by:** Maide G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

Uxcel is the best UX school to help you learn with games. It is ideal for you if you want to learn deep knowledge and have fun while learning. There may be many certificate programs, but believe me, this affects you with a different system. Moreover, I can say that it is one of the best UX school sites successful in terms of UX.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

I would be very happy if they could give me a reminder to make it more effective just for the times I forget.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Some clients and institutions want to see my knowledge with a certificate. Since Uxcel is known globally, everyone accepts it. I am also happy to solve that test until I learn it rather than reading long long articles.

  ### 8. Best UI/UX learning experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alaa H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

Around 2 years ago, I stumbled upon UXCEL while searching for guidance in the rapidly expanding field of UI/UX design, a realm filled with new terms, titles, and roles. Let me tell you, I've been hooked ever since.

So first, my problem is that my interest tends to fade pretty quickly when I’m presented with:
- Lengthy blocks of text that demand prolonged focus.
- Extended videos that explain topics without practical exercises or involve too much back-and-forth between content and exercises, cause distractions.

That's why finding UXCEL was a game-changer. Since I took one of their quizzes, and it just clicked.
-The incorporation of "images" makes understanding and remembering information a breeze, not to mention fun!
-They break down content into bite-sized chunks, making it easy for me to grasp.
-The quizzes after each lesson are just the right length – not too short, not too long. They help me remember what I learned.
-Navigating their website is an absolute delight, delivering exactly what you expect
-Their visually categorized topics, presented like cards with icons, have a soothing effect on my brain. It's as if I've found the ultimate hub for all things UI/UX, just the way I envisioned it.
-Challenges are great, when you just finished a course and revised the lessons with quizzes, now you need to practice how to do the thing…here’s a challenge for you to do that.
-They've truly gamified learning, eliminating boredom. I was persuaded to subscribe without hesitation.

And it got even better when they made a mobile app. Now I can learn wherever I am without needing my laptop or tablet. This is what I call an amazing learning experience.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

I was hoping to see the Learning paths and arcade features on the mobile app

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Learning made fun, it's like the ultimate hub for all things UI/UX, it motivated me to learn more, especially after the launch of their app, it's now easier for me to learn on the go.

  ### 9. Excellent way to upgrade your expertise in UX

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mira I. | Product Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

The format and the way the informatioin is been presented. Also, the ranking is very motivating. The content is been divided into small bits of information which helps to not loose attention. the practice questions help to put the knowledge in use. It has a very similar model as Duolungo where the product encourages you to use it frequently.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

Would like more valiaty of content, not just UX, for example neuroscience can also be useful for UX.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It fulfills my need to learn and improve my knowledge.

  ### 10. Best platform to brush up your design skill and knowledge

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shakeb M. | UI/UX Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

Uxcel lets you learn on the go. It keeps you motivated and helps you to be consistent. It is difficult to keep growing and learning while working in a fast-paced work setting. Uxcel solves this issue with its bite-size lessons.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

The bookmarking feature could be better. Currently, it is difficult to find the bookmarked lessons if there are too many. I think just adding courses you have taken as filters will solve the issue.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uxcel makes it easy for a working professional to learn and grow.

  ### 11. Awesome platform to learn design

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

The platform is polished, has many courses, and certifications. I really like the gamification too. And, their mobile app works great. I can only recommend it.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

To be honest, nothing major that I have disliked so far. It was a bit difficult navigating the courses but I think I got the hang of it now.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am trying to create my own indie apps, so learning about design helps a lot.

  ### 12. Great tool for developing knowledge base

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

Its reallt intuitve, super easy to navigate and makes learning a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

Some of the module final assessments could be altered slightly so its a little more complicated, otherwise it feels like you're answering the same thing twice and its from muscle memory rather than a learning.

The reading could also be a bit more interactive.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its helping develop my existing knowlege and think of different ways to approach design solutions.

  ### 13. It is an easy to navigate website and the courses are easy to understand and take part in

The UX is very good and encourages me to carry on wanting to learn

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

Sometimes the theory on some courses seems quite heavy

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting a better understanding of UI components and best practices

  ### 14. Simple Bite Sized Learning

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shawn D. | UX/UI Designer (Circlez), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

The thing I like best about Uxcel is It's quick and easy and lets you stay sharp with your skills. It's simple straightforward bitesize lessons that have gameified UX related topics.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

Honestly the thing that bothers me the most about Uxcel is that if you don't already know about a topic. You need to read an article about it. I feel most people would benefit from short form video content explaining the concept with visuals as opposed to having to read about it, then answer questions it's demotivating for many I would suspect.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find that you Uxcel solves the issue of motivation with completing other longer in depth courses. Simply put these are short lessons easily completable in 5 minutes or less.

**Reviewed by:** Umoh C. | Logo Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

The format implemented in disseminating information positively impacts the rate and quality of understanding for a beginner all the way to a professional.
The challenges are relevant and cut across most fields of design.
The gamification of the site encourages consistency and focus.
It is implemented well across mobile and web platforms.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

Although the fun nature of the site is intriguing, the site could benefit from a bit less of it. A sweet middle would be nice.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeps me abreast of new developments in design, especially in accessibility, as new courses are being added over time.
The consistency aspect of it is on of the -- if not the most, useful aspects of Uxcel to me. It aids in accountabilty quite well.

  ### 32. UXCEL as my personal mentor

**Reviewed by:** Paulo A. | Lead Product Designer (Manager) | UX Researcher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

UXCEL has many design areas of study and you can track those areas visually. I also like to see areas I am doing good and the ones I need to improve.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

English is not my first language and because of that I think more time could be given for non-native speakers, I am not saying anything dramatic, but more 5 mins would help a lot on tests. Also, translators would be something to think about.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I appreciate the feature that allows me to revisit my saved subjects within my UXCEL account, which greatly assists in my daily routine. Additionally, the well-structured courses have been instrumental in my progression, as they follow a logical and linear content sequence.

What i like best is that you can get better at multiple fields of work. I really have the idea that there's an active community behind uxcel amd they're trying to make the product better when they can.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

I would be nice to see if you can connect with other creatives on Uxcel itself in stead of Discord. That feels a bit cluttered and there oe way too many channels

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm really getting into the learnings in a playfull way

I appreciate how the lessons are well-structured, concise, and include links to all cited sources. One can learn at their own pace and test their knowledge through quizzes after a few lessons. The gamified aspect of the application is truly enjoyable and motivating.

It's hands down the best platform I've tried so far, and considering the price, it's definitely worth it.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

The testing part of the lessons sometimes uses images identical to those in the courses, which can occasionally provide a bit too much assistance to the user.

I have completed various courses with Uxcel for about 3 years. In Uxcel, I understood the focus on the deep science of design and fundamental education in the true sense. **Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

I've been using Uxcel for nine months now and what I like about it is the unmatched design lessons and the ease of access that this app offers, there is truly no better way to learn or improve your design skills.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

I used to dislike that Uxcel didn't have a mobile app, I commute a lot and so I use my phone during my commute to learn things and I found that using Uxcel on the phone's browser wasn't as seamless as using it on a computer, this of course is no longer the case with the release of Uxcel's mobile app

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To have an all-in-one place where I can improve and test my design knowledge with ease and without it becoming boring or tedious. **What do you like best about Uxcel?**

UXcel is an exceptional platform for upgrading your knowledge in the field of design. One of its standout features is the gamification that adds an exciting element to the learning experience. The incorporation of gamification techniques creates a sense of accomplishment and motivation, making each day of learning a delightful journey. Moreover, the platform is well-organized into six design domains: research, content strategy, leadership, core values, interaction design, and visual design. This categorization ensures a structured approach to learning while allowing users to focus on specific areas of interest. The intuitive design and ease of navigation contribute significantly to the overall user experience.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

While UXcel offers an extensive range of courses, some users might find themselves craving additional content once they have completed the available courses. It would be even more appealing if UXcel introduced courses on brain science in UX, more mobile design topics, or the emerging field of react native. Nevertheless, considering the dynamic nature of the platform and its commitment to continuous improvement, it is likely that more courses will be added to cater to the diverse needs of its user base in the future.

  ### 49. Dive Deep into UX with Uxcel

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

After completing my UX bootcamp, Uxcel seemed like the obvious next step. This platform is just... fun! It's the perfect blend of engaging lessons and quirky quizzes. I've been fitting in a bit of learning every day, and now I'm on a 55-day streak. It's not just about the streak, but also the daily gems of knowledge and the satisfaction of consistency. The lessons are not only intuitive but also delightful.

Every action is accompanied by sound feedback; it feels like the platform is cheering me on. What I particularly enjoy is their new 'Leagues' feature, where I can learn alongside peers at a similar learning stage. If you're considering a UX bootcamp, I'd suggest exploring Uxcel first. Dive in and you might just fall in love with the learning experience, just as I did.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

I have a lot of appreciation for Uxcel, but here are some suggestions:

- Expand the Subjects: While Uxcel excels in UX, introducing programming and marketing could elevate the platform.

- Diversify the Games: The gamified lessons are great, but introducing new challenges beyond the standard right-or-wrong would be exciting.

- Introduce Flashcards: Imagine a concept on one side and a concise 20-25 word definition with a related image on the other. These would simplify concepts and be great for revision, encouraging users to spend more time on the platform and excel in their tests.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uxcel offers a seamless continuation of my UX learning journey post-bootcamp. It tackles the monotony that often accompanies online learning platforms by making each lesson not just instructive but also genuinely enjoyable. The gamified approach, complemented by audio feedback, makes me feel acknowledged and encouraged after every interaction.

  ### 50. Incredibly helpful platform for not only beginners but experienced designers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nic . | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Uxcel?**

Their format is really easy to digest. The way they present the theory is easy to read and understand and then the quiz after is formatted in such that it makes learning actually fun. The attention to detail, craft & user experience lets you know you are learning from the best.

**What do you dislike about Uxcel?**

To be honest I haven't noticed any downsides. I guess one downside could be during single signon I don't get a choice to choose which email account, as I actually purchased two to support the company better.

**What problems is Uxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I never told myself I was going to be a product designer, it kind of just happened, so on a self propelled journey to become a product designer I noticed areas I was lacking in. That is when I heard about uxcel and decided to give it a go. I am really glad I did because I constantly learn new things even though I've been designing for nearly a decade.

Uxcel helps solve:

- going from 0 - 1 to become a product designer
- Makes content so much easier than typical courses or books
- wonderful user experience compared to other e-learning platforms
