UXArmy is a powerful remote user research platform designed to get actionable user insights throughout the entire development cycle. Teams can run unmoderated usability tests, surveys, card sorting, tree testing, interviews and focus groups. Teams can test native mobile apps, live websites, prototypes, images, copies and videos. What sets UXArmy apart from most other remote user research platforms out there is recording of the “full testing experience” across both desktop and mobile devices, and native mobile app testing. Its multilingual capabilities, global participant panel (strongly established in Asia-Pacific), and flexible study types make UXArmy a preferred platform for localized and cross-market UX research. Why UXArmy stands out Native mobile app testing (iOS & Android) You can test actual mobile apps — not just clickable screens or prototypes — and watch how users interact in a realistic environment. This helps catch mobile UX friction before or after release, which many browser-only tools miss. Research across languages and regions UXArmy supports 17+ tester UI languages, auto-transcription in 23 languages, and translation of those transcripts into 67 languages. That means teams can collect insights in local languages and still review them in English. This is especially valuable for multilingual products and region-specific experiences. Asia-Pacific participant network UXArmy offers access to a diverse global participant panel, with particularly strong coverage in Asia-Pacific. Teams can target by demographics, region, language, and device type — or invite their own users. Panel access is available across paid plans. One platform, multiple research methods Instead of stitching 3–4 tools together, teams can run usability tests, surveys, card sorting, and tree testing in one workflow and track both qualitative and quantitative evidence in one place. Behavior + feedback, side by side UXArmy doesn’t just give “what users said.” It also shows “what they did” — screen/audio/video recordings, hesitation points, task success, misclicks, backtracking, etc. This helps teams tell a clear story to stakeholders.

"Comprehensive UX Research Platform with Intuitive Tools and Smart AI Features"

5/5

What do you like best about UXArmy?

What I like most about UXArmy is that it gives me a very clear overview of everything I can do on the platform right from the landing page. It lays out all the available research methods in a simple and approachable way, including unmoderated testing with or without recording, user interviews, surveys, card sorting and tree testing.

The actual research flows are easy to work with. The unmoderated testing setup feels intuitive and offers a generous range of templates for different types of studies. Being able to preview tasks before launching is a small detail that makes a big difference. I also really appreciate the tagging system and the way UXArmy’s AI highlights patterns such as navigation problems or bugs. The AI summaries help me speed up synthesis, especially when I am analysing several sessions at once.

One of my favourite parts of the platform is the unified workspace for Create, Participants, Results and Analysis. Researchers often end up bouncing between tools and folders, so having everything in one place helps keep my projects organised and prevents insights from getting lost.

The Deepdive interview tool is also solid. It includes the main features I need for moderated research like recording, screen sharing and integrated notes. The only additions that would make it even smoother are small interaction features like in-call reactions or a raise hand button.

I am also a big fan of the survey templates created by the community. Templates are something researchers rely on often and I would be excited to be able to create and share my own in the future. Card sorting is just as easy to set up. You simply add your cards and categories, choose whether to shuffle them or limit them, and you are ready to launch.

Finally, UXArmy makes exporting both study setups and results extremely straightforward. This matters a lot when you need to hand over material to clients or keep structured archives of your work. The platform brings together many different parts of the research process in a way that feels thoughtful, efficient and supportive of how researchers actually work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UXArmy?

Credit transparency & visibility: Estimated credit usage per method should be more visible and contextual, not hidden behind hover states.

Integrations: Currently limited to Slack, Figma, and Google Sheets - expanding to more research-adjacent tools (analytics, journey mapping, diary study tools) would significantly strengthen the platform.

Loading screen: Minor aesthetic issue with misaligned text, but also a missed opportunity to show UX quotes or micro-learning moments.

Focus group visibility: This feature deserves front-page visibility instead of being hidden under User Interviews, so researchers don’t miss it.

Participant panel: A full user pool with encrypted participant data (past participation, industry, availability, willingness to be recontacted) would be incredibly valuable.

Insights repository: A centralised library to store and browse insights across projects would elevate UXArmy from a research tool to a true knowledge hub.

Overall look & feel: There's a big opportunity in turning this platform into a visually appealing place to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is UXArmy solving and how is that benefiting you?

UXArmy helps me streamline multiple parts of the research process that would otherwise require several different tools. As a freelance UX researcher, I’m often juggling usability tests, interviews, surveys, and synthesis across various projects, which usually leads to scattered data, fragmented workflows, and extra admin work.

It solves this by centralising everything in one place. I can set up unmoderated tests, conduct interviews, run surveys, and analyse findings all within a unified workspace. The AI-assisted tagging and summaries significantly reduce the time I spend on synthesis, especially when dealing with larger studies. The wide range of templates across methods also helps me move faster when kicking off new projects.

On a practical level, having Create, Participants, Results, and Analysis all accessible within a single flow cuts down on tool-switching and keeps insights from getting lost. Features like easy exports and community templates further support client deliverables and rapid iteration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"UXArmy is your one-stop shop for user research"

5/5

What do you like best about UXArmy?

The UXArmy platform provides a comprehensive suite of tools that makes it super straightforward to plan, manage and run all kinds of user testing. The platform is a one-stop shop for usability testing, tree testing, user interviews, card sorting and surveys. It’s been totally indispensable to me as a sole researcher on a small team with a limited budget.

UXArmy's features for measuring user satisfaction (e.g. System Usability Score questions) make it really useful for systematically tracking user sentiment and identifying areas for improvement. Summaries of user feedback, sentiment analysis, auto transcription & translations have made reviewing long user interviews so much faster and easier, giving me more time to focus on insights.

UXArmy also comes with its own recruitment panel, which makes it even faster and easier to run user research, and makes it really valuable to any user researcher or product team looking to get efficient user feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UXArmy?

While the AI summaries are useful and support analysis of findings, for more complex research topics or when there are important nuances to consider I would like more control, such as more flexible reports, more detailed filtering (e.g. by demographics), and more custom visualisations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is UXArmy solving and how is that benefiting you?

Having a comprehensive user research tool with an integrated global panel for participant recruitment makes is so much faster and easier to setup and run tests. This is especially useful if you’re testing in multiple markets or want diverse participant pools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An effective multipurpose research tool"

5/5

What do you like best about UXArmy?

For someone who is unfamiliar with the platform, UXArmy is really easy to use. The onboarding process went smoothly, and I always felt supported, especially since I knew I could always get in touch with the account manager or research adviser.

I value the several features that allow me to perform thorough qualitative research, including usability testing and in-depth interviews. The pool of participants has undergone extensive screening and offers insightful comments.

Additionally, it's simple to monitor the remaining funds for future research. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UXArmy?

The smaller participation pool is the one area that could use development. Sometimes reaching eligible participants takes a little longer. It is not a big deal, though, because the screener survey can always be changed in that situation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is UXArmy solving and how is that benefiting you?

End-to-end research and testing can be carried out there, including participant recruitment, session scheduling and confirmation, session facilitation, data analysis to glean insights (via tagging), and participation incentives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
