## UserWay Reviews
  ### 1. Helpful accessibility platform that keeps admin work manageable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ricardo S. | Web developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

As someone responsible for managing the website, I appreciate how UserWay simplifies accessibility oversight. The setup was quick, and once implemented, it started providing value almost immediately. The admin panel makes it easy to review accessibility insights, check progress, and adjust settings without needing constant technical support. It’s a practical solution that fits well into a busy admin workflow.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

Some of the insights could be more detailed, especially when trying to prioritize which issues to tackle first. Also, for more complex pages or custom elements, you may still need developer involvement to fully resolve certain recommendations.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UserWay helps us maintain accessibility standards in a way that’s structured and efficient. It reduces the time and effort required to monitor compliance manually and gives us more confidence that our website is accessible to a wider range of users. For an admin, that translates into less stress and more control over an important aspect of site management.

  ### 2. Simple to manage and effective for ongoing accessibility oversight

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eron Q. | Web developer, Information Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

As an admin, I really value how UserWay keeps accessibility management simple and organized. The interface is clean, and it’s easy to understand what needs attention and what’s already optimized. I especially like that many improvements run automatically in the background, which means I don’t have to constantly monitor the site to make sure standards are being met.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

In some cases, the platform points out issues without offering very detailed instructions on how to resolve them, which can require extra research or developer input. A bit more actionable guidance inside the dashboard would make it even more efficient.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UserWay helps us stay compliant with accessibility expectations while reducing the manual workload usually involved in monitoring and fixing issues. From an admin standpoint, it centralizes everything into one tool, saves time, and gives us confidence that we’re maintaining a more inclusive experience for our users.

  ### 3. Reliable accessibility tool that simplifies admin responsibilities

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** João S. | Web developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

What I appreciate most as an admin is how straightforward UserWay makes accessibility management. The platform is easy to configure, and once it’s running, it handles a large portion of the work automatically. The dashboard is well organized and lets me quickly check accessibility status, adjust settings, and keep track of improvements without needing to constantly involve the development team.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

There’s a slight learning curve at the beginning, especially if you’re not familiar with accessibility terminology. Some advanced settings could also benefit from more detailed guidance or tooltips to help admins make informed decisions.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UserWay helps us stay on top of accessibility requirements while reducing the operational burden that usually comes with compliance. It allows us to manage accessibility proactively instead of reactively, which saves time, lowers risk, and ensures our website is more usable for a wider range of visitors.

  ### 4. Top-notch customer service. Great free product.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2025

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

I’ve been using UserWay’s free accessibility widget for some time now, and it’s a great, easy-to-implement tool for improving website accessibility. The widget offers essential features like text adjustments, contrast modes, etc., all through a user-friendly interface. Installation was simple, and it fits seamlessly into my site design.

While the free version is somewhat limited compared to the paid plans, it’s an excellent starting point for any website looking to become more inclusive.

What stood out was UserWay’s outstanding customer service. Despite using the free version, I received fast, helpful, and friendly support.
Their team member Matheus went above and beyond, providing clear answers and quickly finding the solution I needed.

Overall, I highly recommend UserWay for its practical widget and exceptional support.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

The price tags for paid options are too high for smaller businesses, in my opinion, as the cheapest paid plan costs $490 annually.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Some accessibility features that benefit mine and my clients websites.

**Official Response from Uriel Weisz:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you've had a positive experience with our free accessibility widget and that it has been easy to implement on your website. We're also glad to hear that you found our customer service to be outstanding, and we'll be sure to pass along your kind words to Matheus. We understand your concern about the pricing of our paid options and appreciate your feedback on this matter.

  ### 5. Userway has great support staff and excellent WP widget

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rafal S. | Front End Developer and Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

My client needed to do accessibility for their website as they have received a notice to comply. I contacted Userway for a demo, and Hayley has been with us every step of the way. We have set up and account for multiple websites and it is easy to install widgets on your wordpress sites. Kudos to Hayley and her support team.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

We find userway to be expensive for Canadian clients due to poor exchange rates, especially for smaller projects or smaller businesses with tight budgets. I do set up the free version in the meantime, though it does come with some limitations on key features. The free version at least does acknowledge that you are serious in setting up accessibility to your website.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is complying client website with the Canadian Accessibility Standards and AODA standards.

**Official Response from Uriel Weisz:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience with UserWay and for acknowledging the support provided by Hayley and our team. We understand the concerns about pricing and exchange rates for Canadian clients, and we are committed to finding ways to address these challenges. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we will use it to continue improving our services for all our customers.

  ### 6. Easy Accessiblity Widget to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Individual & Family Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2025

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

The UserWay accessibility widget is incredibly easy to implement—just a simple code snippet, and it's up and running. Integration with websites is seamless, working smoothly across different platforms without compatibility issues. The widget is user-friendly, requiring minimal setup while offering valuable accessibility features. I appreciate that it runs in the background without needing constant attention, making it a great set-and-forget solution. Perfect for improving website accessibility with minimal effort!

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

The 7-day trial process was concerning. My credit card had US$490 held, which was then charged, and at the end of the trial, another US$490 charge was attempted but failed. When I contacted support, they were very helpful and explained that this is the standard process for all free trial customers.

However, this approach may discourage potential customers, as it essentially results in being charged twice and only refunded after the trial ends. A more user-friendly model—where credit card details are taken but only charged if the trial isn’t canceled—would align better with industry standards and create a smoother experience for new users.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The UserWay accessibility widget helps our website stay compliant with minimal effort by automatically adjusting for WCAG, ADA, and other accessibility standards. Its seamless integration ensures an inclusive user experience without requiring extensive coding or manual updates. With its easy setup and automation, accessibility compliance is now effortless and efficient.

**Official Response from Uriel Weisz:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you found the UserWay accessibility widget user-friendly and valuable for improving website accessibility with minimal effort. We understand your concerns about the trial process and will work to create a smoother experience for new users. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.

Also, the customer support is great, I've had a little issue where the translation feature was not working correctly and the support team helped me fix it in easy to follow steps, overall a great experience!

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

So far, I haven't found any downsides to UserWay, everything works great.

  ### 9. Fast, reliable & knowledgable team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2025

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

UserWay made our accessibility integration quick and seamless. The platform is fast and easy to use, and the sales team was professional and friendly. Their technical support was also very responsive and efficient whenever we needed help.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

One limitation we encountered was that the solution couldn't be used on a staging environment. While this was a bit inconvenient during development, it seems to be a common restriction across the industry, as we couldn’t find other companies that offered it either.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a reliable accessibility solution for our website and platforms to meet both customer agreement requirements and legal accessibility standards.

  ### 11. Placing the UserWay widget on our site greatly simplified meeting accessibility guidelines

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2024

**What do you like best about UserWay?**

Our site was getting complaints about not meeting accessibility guidelines and thus we started a big effort to address all those concerns and be shielded from legal liability. UserWay was a quick and simple way to address a part of those items by simply placing their widget on our site pages. Having the ability to programmatically incorporate the widget and also affect actions by using their API was very helpful. Whenever I had a question I was able to either find help or access their chat and get the answers I needed to not be interrupted and get the job done. Their chat was even available at off-hours and with zero wait! Mark was super helpful on the chat and even took the time to write soem code and provide it in the chat and via email to save me time, which I appreciated.
We have plans to do more with UserWay to take advantage of their Accessibility Monitor and Audit features as well.

**What do you dislike about UserWay?**

We haven't had any problems with UserWay or their services so far. Any issues were quickly solved using their support system.

**What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UserWay assists in making our site accessible to a wider range of the population, specifically in our area - healthcare - where many of our patients are elderly, handicapped in one way or another, or possibly not english-speakers. By having their Widget on our site it solves many of these exact issues. Having the ability to customize the widget with our own branding and colors is very helpful, and having many options on how to place it in various locations, or hide it on specific pages is critical to keeping the design of our site within our specifications and standards. UserWay also provides very good support, documentation and tools to achive our goals of meeting accessibility requirements.

**Official Response from Uriel Weisz:**

> We're so pleased to hear that UserWay has been instrumental in helping you address accessibility concerns and meet guidelines on your site. It's great to know that our widget and API were easy to incorporate and that our support team, especially Mark, provided timely and helpful assistance. We're looking forward to continuing to support your accessibility efforts with our Accessibility Monitor and Audit features.
