Poor customer service and G2 affiliation is fraudulent **Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2023 **What do you like best about UserWay?** Free widget is fine, it does some things for the site **What do you dislike about UserWay?** When canceling, they called and told us we had to sign a document first. Yeah, no. Cancel it immediately, don't say a document has to be signed. Still shows "processing." Also, they have some kind of deal with G2 saying yoiu'll get a gift card if you leave a rreview. We did so and got an email saying "yours wasn't one of the first reviews, so you don't get a card". Bait and switch. Not cool. **What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?** Making sure our sites are as complaint as possibe with ADA **Official Response from Ben Stern:** > Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are glad you are finding UserWay's free widget valuable. It is also important for us to point out that the free widget does not include any AI-Powered WCAG remediations which is recommended. Yes, UserWay has in some cases asked customers asking to cancel to confirm they know the legal risks involved in removing the AI-Powered Pro Widget. It is our responsibility to keep our customers informed of their compliance requirements, and since we are a digital accessibility compliance platform, canceling a UserWay subscription can lead to legal vulnerabilities. Concerning our role with G2, let me extend our sincere apologies for the confusion. You have our assurance that we in no way plan to hold back incentives. UserWay utilizes G2 and other review platforms to collect product feedback from our users. I got sick of it, and I canceled everything, but they are still charging **What do you dislike about UserWay?** Their accounting system and possibly their morals are not up to par. I have never been over charged so many times by any vendor. **What problems is UserWay solving and how is that benefiting you?** Their basic system is ok, but their AI is not so great.
