We have been able to easily access very niche users through user testing with screener questions and participant demographic filters. For most tests, we can get all the participants we need in less than 12 hours and often times quicker than that. UserTesting has streamlined our process beyond what we could have imagined before! Some of the features and functionality for quantitative analysis are still pretty lacking. I know they are currently merging with UserZoom that should bring more robust quantitative features though. My only other dislike would be the clunkiness of their highlight reel creation. The flow of creating the reels could be much smoother than it is currently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

UserTesting.com is a very handy tool for quickly achieving valuable results. As a UX Researcher, UserTesting.com is the tool that has resolved many common research issues and barriers. As I onboard new users to my companies platform I am often asked if they will be able to find their specific demographic, what will happen if a respondent is not satisfactory, can they share videos with clients, how they recieve a transcript of their session and more. New users are often surprised by how many of their concerns have long been addressed by UserTesting.com's offerings.

I also believe UserTesting has te best recruitment options I am aware of. The rating system implemented incentivizes users to put effort into their responses. As a result the thoroughness of response is unmatched by other testing tools. Because of the large testing base, recruitment is completed in an extremely quick amount of time. Although all of my thoughts on UserTesting.com are generally positive, in the past there have been a few aspects of the user interface that could use tweaking. One example was the ability to add users that will recieve invite's to moderated sessions after the study has already eben launched. This may have been updated already but there were time in the past when I would launch a study then need to add in clients or colleagues to recieve the automated calendar invites. I could not find a way then had to invite some people to some sesssions manually which became very confused. These instances are rare and in many cases are quickly resolved in platform updates! In my role, I'm responsible for improving digital communications channels and messages on a global scale so I need to understand various regions, nations, cultures, etc. UserTesting has an excellent pool of people I can conduct user tests, research, polls, etc. on a global scale with specific demographics I need to truly impact the customer base when it comes to CSAT scores and brand loyalty. There's not much to dislike. They are continuously improving their interface and they listen for improvement requests or new features and genuinely care. The most difficult thing is getting companies I've worked for in the past to accept the ROI on the higher cost required. UserTesting is super intuitive and easy to use. It was very easy to get implemented and up to speed with how to use the platform. The quant and qual features are both great. Their contributors also provide really great detailed feedback during qual sessions. Customer support is great too, they're quick to respond and replacing contributors is super easy. Their recuitment features make fiding our target audiences a breeze. I'm so grateful to have this tool, otherwise recruitment for my studies would take SO much longer and require so much more time and effort on my part. Instead, I can devote that time and effort to study design, synthesis, and helping my organization implement the changes our customers need. Also, their customer service is amazing! For being a platform dedicated to helping people improve their user experience, some of the UI elements and navigating the platform is clunkier than I would have expected.
