"Intuitive Onboarding with Minor Learning Curve"
4/5
What do you like best about Userpilot?

I liked the simplicity of Userpilot the most. The dashboard felt clean and the onboarding features were easy to follow. I appreciated how structured the platform feels, with onboarding elements that are logically placed. This makes it easier to understand how user guidance can be implemented inside a product without overwhelming the user. During my evaluation, Userpilot helped demonstrate how onboarding issues can be handled better, making it easier to guide users inside the product so they don’t feel lost when using features for the first time. The initial setup felt simple enough to get started, with the basic setup being easy to follow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

During evaluation, I felt that pricing might be a concern for small teams or learners. Some advanced features also seem to have a learning curve, which could take extra time to explore properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Onboarding with Customization"
5/5
What do you like best about Userpilot?

I use Userpilot primarily for educational and onboarding emails. It helps me guide users through features step by step, share helpful tips at the right time, and improve engagement with learning-focused email flows. What I like most about Userpilot is how easy it is to create personalized, behavior-based onboarding and educational experiences without needing technical help. The ability to trigger emails and in-app guidance based on user actions makes the learning journey feel timely and relevant. Userpilot's integration with product analytics and CRM systems helps me align user behavior data with educational email campaigns. The initial setup was fairly smooth and straightforward, with basic onboarding flows and educational emails being easy to configure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

Some advanced customization options can feel limited when trying to fine-tune complex email designs or highly specific user segments. There's also a bit of a learning curve at the beginning, as the platform offers many features that can take time to fully understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"No-Code Simplicity with Powerful Insights"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Userpilot?

I really appreciate the no-code visual editor in Userpilot; it's a complete game changer as it allows our marketing team to build flows directly on top of the UI without needing any custom code. This saves a lot of development time and speeds up experimentation. The deep, event-based segmentation is also incredibly powerful, letting us target users with precision and serve highly relevant content. I find the variety of UI patterns, such as tooltips, checklists, and slide-outs, very helpful, allowing us to tailor the experience exactly as needed. The real-time analytics directly linked to each in-app experience are fantastic, making it easy to diagnose and optimize user engagement. Lastly, the responsive support team and thorough documentation add a lot of value, making troubleshooting and getting the most out of Userpilot straightforward for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

I find that large flows in Userpilot can make the editor laggy, causing a visible slowdown. The limited customization options with HTML/CSS/JS restrict full control over the look and feel. The mobile experience feels more like a minimized desktop app rather than a native mobile experience. There are no simple offboarding hooks to trigger flows when users deactivate or pause trials. Also, the test environment's preview mode doesn't fully replicate live behavior, especially through production edge cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Onboarding with Powerful No-Code Tools"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Userpilot?

I really like how easy it is to build and customize in-app experiences with Userpilot without needing developer involvement. The no-code flow builder, contextual tooltips, and product tours make it simple to onboard users and highlight new features. I appreciate the segmentation and targeting options, which make the experience feel personalized. I also value that I can quickly create targeted in-app guidance without relying on developers, saving time and effort. The initial setup was straightforward and quick, enabling us to launch our first app experience without much developer effort. Finally, I find Userpilot powerful and user-friendly, rating it a 9 out of 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

Some advanced customization and analytics can feel a bit limited compared to more technical tools, and there is a learning curve when setting up complex flows. Improving reporting flexibility and offering more ready-made templates would make the experience better. The learning curves mainly come from setting up more complex flows, advanced segmentation, and analytics, which could benefit from clearer in-app guidance or walkthroughs. More customizable reports, deeper analytics, and additional pre-built-in templates for common use cases can reduce the time for setting up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use After a Little Exploration"
4/5
What do you like best about Userpilot?

Not that easy to understand everything from the start. But once you play around with it, it gets easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

It has some logical features missing. For example, you can not add two CTA buttons to a survey. You have to create a flow instead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Transforms Onboarding with Stellar Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Userpilot?

I use Userpilot for in-app announcements, new product walkthroughs, and onboarding. Their onboarding and training teams are elite, super helpful, and very detail-oriented. The application itself is very simple to use and straightforward, plus the insights are amazing. The cost of Userpilot compared to salary has been a game changer, allowing us to allocate employable hours to higher-value departments and opportunities. I also appreciate the Salesforce integration, which allows us to sync any Account or Contact field to segment our user data. They're soon coming out with the ability to sync with custom objects in Salesforce, which will be great. The implementation and professional services teams made the setup very simple, despite the complexity that can be inherent in a product like Userpilot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

There are some very specific triggers to deploy certain announcements that are certainly not a deal breaker, but were short term setbacks. There are many opportunities for work arounds and plus they are very open to feedback for future releases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Teams with Flexibility, But Room for Improvement"
3/5
What do you like best about Userpilot?

The primary value of Userpilot is the reduction in developer dependency. It allows our team to deploy user assistance and in-app surveys without needing to commit engineering resources. The ability to toggle flows on and off instantly provides a level of control that would otherwise require a full deployment cycle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

The design of the flow builder is not user-friendly and feels counter-intuitive. Both myself and our designer find the process of building and navigating steps to be clunky; linking elements together is far more difficult than it should be. The interface lacks a logical flow, making it a frustrating experience to map out complex user journeys. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly with Powerful Modals, Needs More Control"
4/5
What do you like best about Userpilot?

I like Userpilot's ease of use which makes working with it straightforward. I also enjoy a lot of the interaction tools like modals and pop-ups, although I wish there was a bit more control over them sometimes. The initial setup for Userpilot was pretty straightforward, as the developers simply followed the documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

I do wish we had the ability to control the modal a little more. Some require you to have a button but you cannot remove it and it must be kept. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
