**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Userpilot allow me to create custom messages to users and target specific notifications, alerts, and guides or use instructions to specific user types, or even specific users. When posted to a page, I am able to customize the look and feel of each engagement to ensure that it appears as though it is native to our site.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Editing engagements in the builder is limited to using the Chrome browser.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to have more engagement with our end users, ensuring they are at least exposed to important product information, when and where it matters, without overloading their inbox.

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

The browser extension it offers for creating user flows is particularly beneficial; it allows me to design and implement processes without needing to involve a developer for technical assistance. This not only streamlines my workflow but also keeps the development team focused on more complex tasks. 
Beyond its effective user engagement tools, Userpilot is packed with an extensive range of analytics features. I rely on these insights to make informed decisions to enhance user experience and engagement.

An extra point goes to their excellent Customer Support. They replied to my query within minutes and provided clear, helpful instructions. Very nice service!

I have no complaints, everything works as it should.

UserPilot helps ours users to get more out of the product journey by providing personalized in-app experiences at every step.

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

UserPilot is super intuititive to use, and requires no knowledge of coding. It's easy to build multiple routing sruveys and you can easily target different user types.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

A minor thing that's a bit jarring is that you can;t include URLs in the NPS surveys which means you have to use general surveys with a scale of 1-5 if you want to direct people to a URL after they complete an action. This means the data we collect can;t be used for NPS.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're using it in multiple ways: running in-product surveys, supporting onboarding, and launching new feature walk-throughs.

Userpilot gives me immediate access to invaluable data, which directly informs my daily client conversations.  The dashboards and reports reveal usage trends, enabling me to tie product usage to clients' business objectives and help them achieve real value

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

The filter and segment system could be improved.  More options for saving views would be very helpful, as it's currently cumbersome to repeatedly recreate filters.

We regularly review user usage data to understand which pages and features are most and least popular, and use this information to inform our ongoing development efforts.

I really love the interface and it is clear is understand features available. I am a software engineer and I have integrated userpilot in our companies application. My questions were well answered by userpilot over few calls.
Documentation is clear enough as well.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

we have integration a lot of raw events in our applicaiton. I am unable to see the metadata of those events in the app. 
It will be really helpful if we can do that.

It is helping to analyze the way our users use our applicaiton and to market it.

I do like how it's clear what the expectations are and what the platform is going to provide for my projects.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

It's not intuitive and I wish that getting started, I was provided a video  of how to use the product to get what I need.  The verbiage could be more clear.  My manager who recommended I use it doesn't have much experience with Userpilot either, so I'm flying blind.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are trying to differentiate who's placing orders in our Marketplace based on landing pages.  This information is not easily differentiated with our database queries.

It also provides in-app checklist feature which is really easy to use.

The analytics requires in-depth understanding, but once you get trained, it is easy to implement.

What I appreciate most is the flexibility and seamless integration with our app. The inteface for creating flows is very intuitive and user-friendly, and in cases I needed some help their Support team provided solutions very quickly.
The new "What’s New" section is a great addition for communicating product updates effectively.

There are times when handling edge cases—such as special URLs or specific button interactions—requires additional time and effort to figure out.

We love Userpilot—it's an intuitive and helpful tool. We've been using it for over a year and plan to continue. Despite not yet utilizing its full potential, we’ve found many features to be highly beneficial. Even better, our end customers have given positive feedback about the tools we've implemented in our SaaS.

The customer support is excellent; they respond quickly and are always on point. Implementing Userpilot into our internal processes has been highly beneficial. It has become an essential daily tool for our customers, and integrating it into our system was relatively easy.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

No downsides have been found yet we probably need more time to work with it to find any.

Userpilot helps us to lower amoutn of requests that goes to our tech. support.

Great tool for understanding user journey. Seems to have lots of potential for client onboarding and feedback collection also. Also loving the launch of the new session recording functionality.

So far the only thing we haven't been able to gather from an analytics perspective is time spent on each feature / page.

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Userpilot offers excellent and prompt customer support. From the beginning of our relationship with Demos, all the way through the installation and post-purchase process, they have shown careful attention to detail and prompt response times.

The tool does exactly what it says it will, and while using one of these tools for the first time may require some familiarity, most of the time you can figure out what to do by looking at the construction menus, which are reasonably intuitive.

Customizing the design to match your branding is possible, which is useful for making the appearance and feel consistent with your user interface

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Userpilot still needs to improve the data accessibility to outside sources. These days, Webhooks are the primary method, however developing them requires effort. Priority needs to be given to increasing the number of native integrations and offering an API.

Further investigation into customization and advanced settings is necessary to increase the platform's adaptability to various scenarios and user requirements.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With in-app surveys and product analytics, Userpilot assists in resolving the difficulty of gathering user feedback and monitoring product engagement. I can get direct, in-the-moment insights from consumers by using it, which enhances my comprehension of user behavior and preferences. With the help of this data-driven methodology, we can prioritize the features and facilitate informed decision-making concerning the product and its attributes, ultimately resulting in an enhanced user experience. Because most processes have been automated to boost efficiency and save costs, there is no need for complex data gathering or assimilation.

I have only been using Userpilot for a short time, but I already appreciate how easy it is to use. The number of options for filtering is impressive, and will be truly helpful when helping a customer determine the scale of product implementation. I also appreciate how easy it is for my team to create reports and share with customers.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I do wish reports were more aesthically pleasing. Can we currently change colors or fonts? Sometimes I like to do such things to align reports with customer brand colors, etc.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Userpilot, we are able to see how many users are implementing the product, and what specific portions of our product are being used the most frequently. We can also see which portions are being implemented the least frequently and then strategize how to get customers to use those portions on a more regular basis.

The platform has so many options but the product team now can monitor adoption metrics and track the success of our features.

The other key thing is that we now understand more about our users, interact with them more, and collect feedback.

Userpilot has been one of the most versatile and powerful additions to our customer-focused departments. Through their analytics, we can make strategic, data-driven decisions that help foster our growth and ensure we engage with the right users/customers. From easy and relatively intuitive content builders and tools to their top-of-the-line customer service and support, Userpilot has it all and does it well. I have never used a single service that was quite as robust or as valuable as Userpilot is. I use this platform daily to help support my efforts, and you should too.

Nothing. I love everything about Userpilot.

That it is one of the best tools for user onboarding.
It helps you create user-personalized experiences without knowing how to code.

What is also great is the fact that you can combine it into other CRMs (Mixpanel for me), and how easy it is to create A/B testing.

It’s bit hard to use it at first, but once you dive into it, it becomes quite intuitive.

While it’s easy to set up basic flows, the deeper features (like advanced targeting and analytics) do require a bit of a learning curve. However, once you get the hang of it, it’s smooth sailing

The problem it solves are Churn Due to Poor Onboarding, Difficulty Personalizing User Journeys, Lack of Real-Time Engagement. It benefiting me with scalabe user engagement improving my retention rate helping me with save cost on engineering.

The analytics could be more detailed. It gives great insights, but sometimes I need to rely on external tools for deeper data.

From where to Start, Userpilot is an amazing Analytics Tool which provide deep understanding about the users visiting our app starting from the  onboarding to any events which they do on our app. Its visual graphs and charts are also great and are very easy to conduct our analysis.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

To be Honest, nothing as such, only during the setup a little more help from customer support could have been there but nonetheless their service is great

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a product for which onboarding is necessary- Userpilot helps us in that by providing customizable checklist by means of which a new user can fully understand our product without any inconvenience plus it also has resource centre in case a call to customer support in required.

Some of the reports can be made more extensive e.g., allowing multi-select options. However, given everything can be downloaded as a CSV, this is not much of an issue

The platform is incredibly intuitive and has helped us build user onboarding flows and in-app experiences with ease. One thing I love is how flexible it is—there are so many options to customize and tailor the experience to fit our users’ needs.
The analytics are also super helpful. Saves a lot of time.

Steep learning curve, has a lot of features but with time its all worth it.

Matches our styles and layouts, easy to adapt and align to our user journey. We're switching from Pendo to Userpilot because we found we were getting more bang for our buck by using UP. Definitely worth the investment!

Just like with every software there's a bit of a learning curve but once I got used to it I found no limitations to what I needed to do.

It is easy to set up engagement flows for users, add a resource center, and track pages and buttons. I like the ability to see information about users, their last sign-in, devices, browsers, and so on. Rich table filters (custom segments, companies, and so on).

It would be nice to be able to export table data as a CSV file right away instead of sending it to an email.

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

My experience with Userpilot is great. It was an essential tool to improve the user experience of our platform. With it, we were able to create interactive flows that allowed our users to understand the product, insert seasonal information and use onboarding flows based on permalinks.
In addition, Userpilot offers integrated surveys such as NPS and CSAT in addition to a robust dashboard that helps us make decisions based on valuable insights.

The tool also allows greater autonomy, allowing you to implement actions without depending on the dev team, allowing for continuous improvements and a direct impact on task success. Product strategy well aligned with objectives.

There is the challenge of implementing some flows where the front-end changes from the same URL, but this does not prevent the efficient use of the tool. The support is very effective and is always available to answer any questions.

Userpilot is incredibly easy to implement, allowing us to add tooltips and checklists without requiring much effort from engineers to get involved. The A/B testing feature is fantastic for experimenting with user flows, and the ability to customize using CSS offers great flexibility to design the tooltips/buttons/checklists that match our design system.

Their support team is always helpful and responsive whenever we have questions or run into issues.

Sometimes the platform can be a little bit buggy, but thankfully, the support team is always quick to address any issues that come up.

The interface is intuitive and easy to use. We have also leveraged their javascription SDK and REST endpoints to enhance targeting of our user base. From the software implementation perspective, the integration of Userpilot into our platform pretty straightfoward. When we ran into complications, their technical support team willing jumped on a call and helped us diagnose the issue quickly.

Some of the API documentation is a bit lacking. It would be great to be able to export detail about information in Userpilot via REST API endpoint. A lack of this ability forced upon us some design decisions we might have otherwise avoided.

As a Product leader, I appreciate that we can quickly and easily implement product-led growth features via UserPilot without requiring engineering support.  We have used many UserPilot features in our product, including user feedback surveys, tooltips, feature highlights, feature announcements, surveys, and we love the Resource Center in particular.
The Mixpanel integration has been a lifesaver for us.
I appreciate that the product is always evolving and adding new features, increasing the value of our investment.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

As with any third-party tool, you are limited to the options provided by the tool, which we find gives us less control, detail and styling consistency that we would like to have.  Creating a multi-level user experience in the product can be challenging without having the capability to very carefully determine each step of the user journey down to very specific details.  
We also prefer to use more detailed analytical tools for user metrics and analysis, so we appreciate that we can send user event data to Mixpanel rather than relying on UserPilot's internal product analytics tools.

UserPilot provides us with the opportunity to create custom user journeys for product education and growth opportunities, as well as the ability to keep a tight feedback loop in place for our customers through feedback and survey modals.

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

It is so complete easy to set up, use, and track any metrics. With their built in example, I can set up ideas in my system without doing a lot of research.

It's incredible easy to use the flows with the Chrome plug in and modify them, if needed.

It's easy to use the theme editor and customize it to our brand standards.

We can also import use data like sign up, new, and user role - which is the most helpful of all.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Sometime a button changes its attributes and location based on our user role and, initially, it can be hard to track that. But, the chat help and email help is a great resource and almost instant answers.

That being said, we have multiple flavors of our site. A would need different resource center than B, and there isn't a way to seperately publish them.

We also want to be able to filter by company on the flows page too. For now, we set up different folders. But we can't create folders in checklists, though.

It would also be helpful to add tags to videos, and flows. That way, if the user searches for "payment", they can see a flow or resource center about "payment" and "credit card". Or use tags to show similar videos and flows without setting everything up.

Exporting reports for flows, etc is limited. My manager wants to see who is assigned to each role as well as the page displayed on. I have to manually track this, but the report does include stats.

In app help and training. Training can be delivered to the right person, at the right time, on the right page - instead of broad availability.

On top of this seeing the breakdown of what particular features are being utilized the most has been incredibly helpful to measure the success and health of both new/current and past features.

One of the best features of Userpilot is its ability to not only create onboarding guides, beautiful walkthroughs, and smart tips for users but also track product feature and page usage. This functionality allows us to gather insightful data, enabling us to understand user behavior, identify pain points, and continuously improve our product based on real user interactions.

There is still a long way to go,  I have used many other DAP tools, and one place where userpilot needs to work is creating beautiful templates and experiences that could be directly used by ream to create flows quickly on their application. 

They have currently one of the best resource center, they need to beautify it more.

As a product manager, I'm delighted time and again that I can draft targeted requirements that our customer success team can implement efficiently to achieve our desired impact with our product, especially as we release improvements. I'm also enjoying how I can use targeted surveys for customer discovery and influence our product roadmap. And even though we crunch product analytics on a different platform, it helps to have userpilot as a fallback or secondary source to validate what we're seeing.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Sometimes we are limited in how we can target particular customers or the kinds of actions we can use to trigger flows. That said, we can usually find a passable workaround when this happens.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's challenging to keep users aware of product improvements and able to quickly take advantage of them. It's challenging to efficiently survey users to inform our product roadmap. Our analytics platform can be unreliable at times.
