## Userpilot Reviews
  ### 1. Actionable In-Product Feedback Right When It Matters

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Magdalena P. | Customer Experience Design Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

What I like most about Userpilot is how it lets us capture feedback exactly when it matters.

Before using it, we relied heavily on delayed, email-based surveys with very low response rates and limited context. What changed with Userpilot is that we can now ask users for feedback in the flow of their work, right after they complete key actions like searching, selecting parts, or placing an order. That shift has made the feedback far more specific and actionable.

It’s also incredibly effective at turning feedback into something we can actually use. Because responses are tied to specific workflows, we’re able to clearly see where friction happens in the experience and prioritise improvements with much more confidence.

On top of that, the engagement is noticeably better. The surveys are lightweight and non-disruptive, so users are more willing to respond, and we get more consistent signals as a result.

Overall, it’s helped us move from collecting generic feedback to building a continuous, in-product feedback loop that directly informs how we design and improve our products.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Userpilot is great at collecting feedback, but turning that into clear trends and product decisions still requires additional effort outside the tool. You need a strong internal process to synthesise results and make them actionable—it doesn’t fully happen automatically.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot is helping us close a few key gaps in how we understand and act on user experience:

Lack of visibility into where friction happens
We can now pinpoint specific steps in the journey that drive effort or frustration, rather than relying on general feedback.

Disconnected and low-quality feedback signals
By capturing feedback in the product, we get more relevant and actionable insights tied to real actions, not opinions collected out of context.

No consistent feedback loop
Userpilot allows us to continuously track CSAT, CES, and NPS across key workflows and monitor how experience changes over time.

Difficulty prioritising product improvements
Because feedback is structured and tied to specific events, it’s much easier to identify what to fix first and measure impact.

  ### 2. Ease of Use and Incredible Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karla C. | Diseñador de productos digitales I, Design, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I like how easy it is to use Userpilot; it's really simple to learn and start creating the solutions it allows. Additionally, it has incredible support for technical issues; whenever we request help, their support team is willing to assist. It's very valuable because, in case of doubts, queries, or additional support, we contact technical support directly and within a few hours, we have responses and even calls to resolve the concerns. This is very important to avoid wasting time and to make the most of the tool. I also like that with just a few clicks, we can create onboardings, step-by-step guides, or presentations of new tools and measure their impact on the user. The tool allows us to visualize the usage and events generated by users in their sessions, which is truly useful for making decisions and analyzing the usage patterns of our product. The initial setup was very simple; with support and a developer, we had the product up and running in less than two days.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

There are many things they have on the web that they need to include in the app, such as adding onboarding or step-by-step guides. Their main need is really to strengthen all their tools so that they are available from the app, such as session recording, label events, step-by-step guides, onboardings, coach marks.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot allows me to quickly create onboardings and guides, measure usability and impact on users, visualize user events for decisions and usage patterns. It is powerful with statistics and easy to use.

  ### 3. Straightforward In-App Onboarding with Clear User Behavior Insights

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elias R. | Marketing coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Userpilot makes it pretty straightforward to build onboarding flows, tooltips, and other in-app prompts without turning it into a huge project. It is one of those tools that feels useful quickly, and I like that it also gives visibility into user behavior instead of leaving you to guess.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

So far, not much. Like any platform, it takes a little time to get familiar with all the features, but overall it has been a good experience.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot is helping improve onboarding and guiding users more effectively inside the product without needing constant developer support. That has made it easier to highlight key features, test ideas faster, and create a smoother user experience overall. The benefit for us is that we can move quicker, be more intentional about adoption, and get better visibility into how users are engaging with the product.

  ### 4. Highly Customizable, Intuitive Platform with Stellar Support and Great Value

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lakshman R. | UX Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Userpilot stands out for its high degree of customization and flexibility, easily handling everything from in-app announcements to user surveys. While there is an initial learning curve, the platform becomes remarkably intuitive once you’re oriented. We’ve been impressed by their consistent feature updates and competitive pricing, which offers great value for the toolkit provided.

The Slack integration and granular notification settings are particularly robust, ensuring our team stays informed without being overwhelmed. To top it off, their support team is stellar—consistently responsive and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

The NPS surveys could definitely use some improvement. A major pain point is that the survey just disappears if a user navigates away from the page which results in lower completion rates.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We primarily use it for in-app announcements, surveys and guides.

  ### 5. Great tool for improving client experience and training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melinda M. | Director Of Education And Training, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Flows and Spotlights are easy to use and provide great value to clients to ease their use of the software. One thing that sets it apart from Pendo, which we previously used, is the spotlight, which flashes on screen to have a bit more of a passive way to bring attention to a feature, rather than blowing up a message across the screen. UserPilot customer support has been great and very responsive.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

When I have finished working with a flow and click "Next" I get a new tab with the UserPilot interface. And when I launch another edit window, I get a new tab with my product UI. This means I may end up with an endless number of UP and UI tabs open. I wish it would recognize that I already have the UI open and switch to that window, and revert back to the UP window when I am ready to exit the editor.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The time it takes to code help messaging within our software is not ideal. Having UserPilot allow us to reach clients directly almost immediately and solves many issues when it comes to communicating what is needed in a timely way.

  ### 6. Transforms Customer Experience and Usability

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard H. | General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I really appreciate the ease of use for data and reporting, and the impact this has on our clients. Userpilot provides real metrics about what's working well, what isn't, and what our customers think. I love the ability to track in real-time how our clients are using our software, which helps us provide product walkthroughs so they can onboard their new users quickly. The integration with Salesforce is also beneficial. Additionally, their onboarding is really strong, and having someone like Samantha, who knows the system well and has provided us a lot of her time, makes a significant difference.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

It's missing key AI features to speed things up

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot to track system usage, generate PQLs, and enhance customer experience through flows. It provides real metrics on performance and customer feedback, while its ease of use for data and reporting greatly impacts our clients.

  ### 7. User-Friendly Flow Builder with Outstanding, Fast Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Motasem A. | Onboarding Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Userpilot is quite user friendly for setting up flows without needing much help from developers. However, the highlight for me has been their support team. Whenever I face a technical issue or get stuck, they are quick to respond. It’s refreshing to talk to support staff who actually understand the product and provide practical solutions right away

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

The platform has a lot of features, so it can feel a bit overwhelming at first. Also, some advanced styling options have a slight learning curve. Additionally, the platform's interface doesn't support the Arabic language yet, which is something I hope to see in the future. However, their documentation usually covers most other technical gaps

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it to improve our user onboarding process. It saves us a significant amount of development time and resources, allowing us to build and deploy experiences much faster than coding them from scratch

  ### 8. Fast, No-Code In-App Walkthroughs and NPS Surveys for Rapid Releases

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Russell W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

It’s genuinely easy to use. As a PM, I can quickly stand up an in-app walkthrough for a feature release, send NPS surveys, or push a notification asking users to chat with us about the roadmap (in exchange for a gift card) without needing any engineering involvement. Setup is fast, and the editor is straightforward. That speed really matters when we're releasing so quickly.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

The built-in NPS views are useful for a quick read, but anytime I want to do real analysis I end up exporting the data to another tool. I'd love to see some deeper analytics native to the nps product so I'm not pulling data into a second system to actually work with it for simple things like segmentation.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It lets me ship in-app guidance, surveys, and user outreach without engineering bandwidth. For feature releases that means users actually see what's new. For NPS it gives me a steady pulse on sentiment. For research recruitment it makes it easy to put a notification in front of the right users and book conversations for the roadmap work I'm doing.

  ### 9. UserPilot Nails the Core Use Case with a Smooth, Intuitive Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark H. | VP Product, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Personally, I didn't have to set it up - but we compared against other tools and both the administrators and day-to-day users found it so much smoother. Competitors have lots of new features, and all sorts of AI options, but they just haven't mastered the core use case which UserPilot seems to have nailed.

Once you get into the product, tagging pages is easy, running reports and setting up dashboards is intuitive, and segmenting and filtering behaves as exactly as you would expect. It's just easy to use, and has layers and layers of powerful features once you get it. The ramp up is great. You get loads of value early on, and as you spend more time with it, you get more and more back.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Pulling data out could be easier. Find that not all tables and reports can be exported, and when they are - tends to be raw data rather than informative reports.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visibility with customer behaviour and completion of key flows was a complete unknown before UserPilot. How many people complete journey X? No idea. For a product team, setting goals to make life better is much more difficult when it is impossible to quantify the current issues/friction.

  ### 10. Everything You Need to Understand and Engage Your Users

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lorena S. | Customer Experience, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Userpilot has been a game changer for how I manage product experience and user onboarding. What I really love is having everything centralized from building in-app flows (modals, tooltips, checklists) to tracking user behavior and engagement all in one place.

The dashboard and analytics features are especially strong. I can easily create and customize dashboards to monitor feature adoption, user interactions, and onboarding performance without needing external tools.

Highly recommend Userpilot for anyone focused on improving product adoption and user experience.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Recordings are available for a limited time only.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest benefit is speed and clarity. I can go from insight to action in one place, without delays or dependencies. It makes it much easier to optimize the user journey and drive better product adoption.

  ### 11. Userpilot Makes Product Data Actionable with Powerful Analytics & HubSpot Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thies H. | RevOps Lead, Semiconductors, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Userpilot has made it possible to make our product data accessible and insightful in an easier way. Previously, we could retrieve data, but it was difficult to make it usable and actionable. Now, with the link to HubSpot, we can help and guide our users at the right moment within our product. The product analytics, but also the engagement aspect, make it a very useful tool for a SaaS product.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

It takes a bit of figuring out how to use the product analytics, but that is also due to our own event naming.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It really helps us gain a better understanding of our customers' product usage. How active or inactive our customers are, so that we can respond accordingly. This prevents churn and stimulates product usage, which can lead to upsells. With product analytics, we can see whether our product improvements actually lead to the behaviour we expect, or whether we need to make it easier for the user.

  ### 12. Empowering In-App Feedback and Engagement with No-Code Simplicity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Delaney H. | Customer Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

What I like best about Userpilot is how much control and flexibility it gives me to engage customers directly inside the product, without needing engineering support.

I can launch NPS surveys, feature announcements, onboarding flows, and targeted messages quickly and tailor them to very specific user segments. The platform is incredibly robust—there are multiple ways to reach users, test messaging, and drive adoption—yet it’s still accessible for non-technical teams.

Most importantly, Userpilot lets me meet customers where they already are. Instead of relying solely on email or one-off outreach, I can communicate contextually, reinforce value at the right moment, and gather real-time feedback that actually informs our strategy.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Not as many opportunities for the mobile-first facing applications.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot solves the problem of how to communicate, educate, and gather feedback from customers at scale—without relying on engineering or overusing email.

Before Userpilot, it was difficult to reach the right users at the right time with the right message. Communications were either too broad, poorly timed, or disconnected from actual product behavior. Feedback like NPS lived outside the product, which limited response quality and actionability.

  ### 13. No more blind decisions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mickaël G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I really like Userpilot because it's a user-friendly platform and quite intuitive. I can create my own dashboards and find any information I need regarding platform adoption. This functionality helps me on a daily basis as I can check the dashboards I’ve saved and created before meetings with clients. Additionally, it allows me to stop taking blind decisions. I now have data and analytics to back me up in understanding user utilization. Userpilot offers more user analytics, making it easier for me to navigate the platform. The initial setup was very easy and nothing was complicated.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I'm happy with the platform, nothing to complain about. It's bringing information I didn't have access before.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot helps me make informed decisions with data and analytics on user engagement, preventing blind decision-making. It's user-friendly and intuitive, allowing me to create dashboards that streamline my daily operations by providing quick insights into platform adoption.

  ### 14. Versatile Tool with Exceptional Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura Catherine T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I like that Userpilot is an easy-to-implement tool and that it can integrate with many tools like CRMs. It helps me receive direct feedback from users, which is sometimes difficult to obtain. The tool is constantly updated, they are always looking for ways to improve the platform, which means there are always new things. The communication tools are phenomenal and the team that has accompanied us has been fantastic, always available to help us resolve doubts, questions, and problems, as well as receive feedback. The documentation is also very useful, unlocking many processes when I need it.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

There are times when we have had problems with the data, such as it not reading certain events, or we have no way to obtain the data in CSV because when it is downloaded it does not arrive in the email.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot to measure user behavior and as a communication tool. Solve frontend problems, avoiding additional developments, and help collect important data for product decisions, allowing for real-time iteration.

  ### 15. Intuitive and Self-managed with Exceptional Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miguel Angel G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I like the Userpilot web interface because it is very intuitive in all the functionalities it offers. I also appreciate the excellent customer service and how the pay-per-user model allows me to calculate costs much more easily. Additionally, it allows me to act quickly without having to go through the backend team, facilitating the management of growth and product tracking independently.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Having greater customization or options in the dashboards and in the way I can model the data, since everything is so abstracted, if what I need is not within the flow designed by your team, it becomes complex to achieve it. It would be useful to have many more visuals available and an SQL console that allows me to model the data in a better way or something similar to Power BI's DAX.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot allows me to track user behavior, generate surveys, make announcements, and act quickly without relying on the IT team, being independent in product management.

  ### 16. Effortless In-App Messaging with Intuitive Insights

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan C. | Contributing Editor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

We currently use Userpilot for mainly in-app messaging (tooltips, modals, etc) in-app surveys and NPS. The UI is very easy to use, so that also eliminates the need for development to step in. Last, the insights portion is nice and very intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

There's a decent learning curve with this where it's not necessarily with other products like this, so ease of use could be better. Some of the workflows previews can also show differently when live, so that can be a bit frustrating. However, connecting with the CSM is usually easy.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot is fantastic with connecting us to our customers in another way besides email, Zoom, and phone. We are able to save significant dev time with being able to create tours for our customers. We are also able to fully track customer product behavior, actions, and insights helping to improve feature adoption and expansion/upsell efforts.

  ### 17. Powerful User Insights, Needs Better Export Tools

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I like how Userpilot easily connects with our platform and understands who our users and customers are. It allows us to segment and measure them effectively, avoiding the need to manually transfer data and keeping it always up to date. Their customer service is also nice, making interactions smooth and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Exporting and measuring data could be better. For example, we look at CSAT every month with a survey, specifically we measure the average CSAT, and our flow is the following: going to the survey, selecting the time frame, clicking export, going to my email inbox, clicking their link, which downloads a CSV file, then going to Google Drive, uploading the file there, converting to Google Sheets, and finally entering the Sheets file just to calculate the average CSAT. It could be just a functionality in their webpage, along with more analytical functionality in surveys.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot to measure platform activity and customer engagement, avoid manual data transfer, and interact with customers easily. It allows segmenting and automatically updating user data.

  ### 18. All the Digital Adoption features you need at a fraction of the cost!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I researched and compared eight Digital Adoption Companies, and by far UserPilot offered the most functionality at a fraction of the cost. The sales process was professional and never pushy. Building user flows is straightforward and easy to follow. Implementation was also smooth, and the new product enhancements allow us to continue growing our utilization.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Analytics felt a bit clunky at first, but they’re manageable once you get used to them. The onboarding was helpful, although the online documentation could be clearer and more complete. Overall, these are minor frustrations compared with the benefits we’re receiving.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a growing company with a critical internal business platform. As an internal-facing product we needed simple user analytics and help introducing new features by providing seamless change management and reinforcement.

  ### 19. Versatile Tool with Excellent Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I like the versatility of Userpilot; it basically allows me to do almost everything I can think of. The customer success team is great, helping me imagine what's possible and always being there to assist. I have never been blocked for long on any issue because our Userpilot contact is always ready to help, both by email and through weekly meetings.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

The integration phase was a bit difficult, and the initial setup required some dev efforts and did not work the first time. The editor could also be slightly improved.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot lets me control in-app modals and notifications without needing dev help, solving the problem of hardcoded dev, long waits, and inflexibility. It helps drive tool adoption and retention and allows us to collect NPS easily.

  ### 20. Effortless Onboarding with Customization Power

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abdulwahab i. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I use Userpilot to improve user onboarding and enhance the overall product experience by creating in-app guidance, product tours, and targeted messages. It helps us reduce user confusion during onboarding, improve feature adoption, and gather valuable user feedback. What I like most about Userpilot is its easy-to-use interface, flexible customization options, and powerful in-app guidance features that allow us to create personalized user experiences without needing technical expertise. The easy interface allows our team to quickly build onboarding flows without coding, its customization options help us tailor experiences to different users, and the in-app guidance ensures users understand features faster, improving engagement and overall product adoption. I would rate Userpilot a 10 out of 10 because it offers strong onboarding features, good customization, and helps improve user engagement.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I think Userpilot could improve by offering more advanced analytics and reporting customization. Also, it could perform smoother when managing complex onboarding flows with many user segments. Adding deeper analytics insights and better performance optimization for large projects would make it easier to track user behavior accurately and manage complex onboarding experiences more efficiently.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot to reduce user confusion during onboarding, improve feature adoption, and gather valuable user feedback, enhancing user engagement and product retention.

  ### 21. Effortless Onboarding with Powerful Customization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abdurrahman I. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I like how Userpilot simplifies onboarding and user engagement, making it easy to use and flexible. It's had a measurable impact on activation rates. I also appreciate the ability to maintain brand consistency by customizing colors, fonts, and layout, making onboarding elements feel like a natural extension of the product. The no-code onboarding capabilities, advanced segmentation, and analytics made Userpilot the right choice for my team. Setting up required minimal technical help, and I could create most flows and tooltips using the no-code editor, which saved developers time. The integrations with tools across marketing, analytics, and customer success make it easy to deliver personalized, context-aware in-app guidance.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

The resource center feature works well, but offering more layout and customization flexibility would allow my team to tailor it even more to their brand and user needs.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot helps me reduce support tickets by guiding users proactively, answers common questions, simplifies onboarding, and boosts engagement. It’s flexible, easy to use, and customizable, maintaining brand consistency. Its integrations deliver personalized in-app guidance, and the no-code setup saves developer time.

  ### 22. Empowers Agile Onboarding with Ease

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mat A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I use Userpilot to build in-app guidance and onboarding flows because it's easy to use, flexible, and helps me improve user engagement and feature adoption without technical problems. I really like the independence it gives me because I can quickly adjust onboarding flows or messaging without waiting for development cycles, keeping experimentation moving at a good pace. User behavior changes over time, especially after feature updates, so being able to modify flows instantly means I can adapt onboarding to reflect new features or workflows without delaying releases. Setting up Userpilot is very easy because I can build, target, and publish experiences on my own, which makes the process very efficient.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

While the analytics are useful, having more customizable dashboard and report configurations would make the performance analytics more efficient.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot to create in-app guidance and onboarding flows easily, enhancing user engagement without technical help. It solves the challenge of guiding users through the product without constant developer input.

  ### 23. Comprehensive Tool with Excellent Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sven B. | Product Owner RAP, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I like that Userpilot is a complete package, providing opportunities to combine multiple features like using survey results to segment users and target specific elements towards them. I appreciate the built-in dashboards and custom-made reports for analyzing user data and the features that optimize the user experience such as tutorials, tool-tips, and a resource center. The customer support is outstanding, answering quickly, and assisting with data migration. I also find the setup relatively easy, although it required some slight changes in our code-base.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I find it inconvenient that the feature to share specific reports outside Userpilot isn't available for all relevant standard reports, so I still have to manually create and send some monthly reports. Also, while there's a staging environment to test some settings before applying them, it's not available for all features. For instance, the resource center lacks a way to test things once deployed to production.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot provides user behavior analysis and optimizes user experience with tutorials and tooltips, solving our lack of user tracking and improving experience know-how. It allows personalizing user experiences by segmenting based on other data (f.e. surveys) and has great customer support.

  ### 24. Effortless Onboarding, Intuitive UI, Comprehensive Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarika A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I really like Userpilot's intuitive UI and low learning curve. The product's strong and solid analytics and user journey visibility offer more than enough insight for most product growth and feature adoption use cases. Being a startup, it's the perfect combination of analytics, in-app guidance, and one platform at a very good value compared to enterprise-heavy alternatives. Their customer success team and implementation team are fantastic, very responsive, and I'm always very happy with them. It was very easy to set up with a quick implementation from the engineering side. I appreciate how it empowers product and non-technical teams to make changes and put out content easily. It's amazing how fast it allows us to iterate and move with any release. Plus, the segmentation capabilities are strong and flexible, enabling targeted messaging based on user behavior and custom attributes.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I think the part that I am not very clear on is whether there are any AI-powered capabilities in Userpilot if there are any. I'm not sure if I'm fully aware of them.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot for onboarding, driving feature adoption, and understanding user engagement. It allows us to quickly build and launch in-app experiences without engineering dependence and send targeted messages with strong, flexible segmentation.

  ### 25. Rich Feature Set and Fantastic Customer Service

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

The product has a rich feature set which allows us to think out of the box even when our own underlying systems are restrictive. This allows us to solve problems that we've never been able to do before and understand a lot more about our users.
The customer service is fantastic. There is always a useful help article or support from an agent. Customer success lead Lauren is very knowledgeable and understands our business and problem set extremely well.
We have found that integration is easy to use as well, to help us segment and understand our customers more easily.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

As there are so many features, a casual user can sometimes get overwhelmed and has to spend time understanding what is best for the problem they are trying to solve. Our customer success team has been fantastic in helping us understand what the best course of action to take is.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We primarily use it for user onboarding and prompting them to go through workflows. We have also used it to collect survey results and deliver service messaging.

  ### 26. Boosts Activation and Retention Effortlessly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John P. | Technical Support Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I use Userpilot as part of our product-led growth strategy, helping boost activation and retention while also deepening feature engagement without solely relying on external communication channels. I really appreciate the built-in analytics; being able to track completion rates and engagement within the same platform helps me measure performance and refine experiences based on actual user data. The initial setup was very easy, allowing me to go from setup to launching my first in-app flow in a relatively short period.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

The experimentation tools are useful, but I wish there were more robust and integrated A/B testing features. Setting up experiments currently feels manual, and having a dedicated A/B test wizard to guide users through choosing variants, setting goals, and defining sample sizes would make experiments more accessible.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot boosts activation and retention by enhancing feature engagement without relying on external channels. It provides visibility into onboarding performance, allowing me to track user interaction with guidance content and optimize flows with real data.

  ### 27. Optimized Onboarding with Powerful Segmentation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James . | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I use Userpilot to segment users based on behavior and profile or lifecycle stage and deliver targeted in-app experiences. I really value the built-in analytics; being able to track flow completion rates and user engagement directly within the platform helps me optimize onboarding based on data rather than assumption. The setup process was aided by clear documentation and in-app guidance; whenever I had questions, resources were easy to find, which made the onboarding experience smooth. My team switched from Appcues to Userpilot because while Appcues worked well for basic onboarding, we needed more advanced segmentation and analytics, and Userpilot gave us better targeting flexibility and more control over personalization.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Managing a large number of flows can feel less streamlined at times. Enhanced organization tools such as tagging and folder hierarchies or bulk actions would make it easier to maintain clarity as the number of experiences grows.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot to segment users and deliver targeted in-app experiences, solving the issue of users not discovering important features. It improves feature awareness and adoption with targeted prompts and walkthroughs.

  ### 28. Userpilot Enables Smooth Onboarding and Team Communication Without Tech Help

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Communications via userpilot, such as information sharing and onboarding, greatly help the design and product teams evolve the product without needing the tech team.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Difficult to use, doesn't have a Brazilian Portuguese language option, and is complex to configure and understand.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It lets me launch something quickly without needing technical skills. I can create elements similar to the system, share and disseminate research, and more, which gives me a lot of agility.

  ### 29. Elevates User Experience with Customization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Safiyya I. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I appreciate how Userpilot helps me collect in-app feedback and conduct NPS surveys, which are essential for understanding user satisfaction and identifying friction points in the product experience. I value the ability to personalize messaging through segmentation and behavioral targeting, ensuring users see content relevant to their role and usage. What stands out to me the most is the level of customization available; I can match in-app experiences to our brand style, making them feel native rather than intrusive. Userpilot also empowered our product and customer success teams to implement onboarding flows independently, without relying on engineering, which I find incredibly beneficial.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I would like to see more flexible pricing tiers for scaling startups to make it more accessible as usage grows.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot helps me collect in-app feedback and NPS surveys, understanding user satisfaction and friction points. It solves generic user experiences by using segmentation and behavioral targeting, allowing me to personalize messaging so users see content relevant to their role usage.

  ### 30. Powerful Combination of Features with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vera S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I love the strong combination of features that Userpilot offers. The ability to use analytics alongside features like in-app surveys, tutorials, and emails makes it a very powerful tool. I really appreciate how, when someone gives a bad review on a CES survey, I can look at the screen recording to see what is frustrating them. Support from Userpilot has always been very good, which helped us with the unique requirements in our software.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I think mostly the inconsistency. For example: you can plan when a survey should go live, but you cannot plan when your changes in the resource center go live. Or you cannot test the resource center in the staging environment, but you always have to do that in production. Another specific thing is that you can use global throttling only on page-based surveys and not for event-based surveys. I find that strange. Why call it global throttling then? I want to make sure that my users do not get survey-fatigue. I find that more important than gathering feedback. And also in the analytics I am sometimes limited when making a dashboard for surveys for example.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot gives us insights into user behavior and frustrations, uses in-app surveys, provides a central help resource, and guides users with tutorials.

  ### 31. Intuitive Onboarding with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Filo Q. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I use Userpilot to create in-app onboarding experiences, and I really appreciate that it allows me to build tooltips, modals, and interactive walkthroughs without writing code, making launching user guidance fast and efficient. The clean interface makes a significant difference in my daily workflow; it's well-organized and intuitive, allowing me to navigate between building experiences, setting up segments, and reviewing analytics without confusion. I also like the built-in analytics, as it gives me clear insights into how users interact with the product and helps me continuously improve the experience. The initial setup was very easy, and the onboarding guidance within the platform made it straightforward to start building experiences.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

While my overall experience with Userpilot has been very positive, there are a few areas that could be improved. The reporting and analytics, although helpful, could offer deeper customization and more advanced filtering options.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot for creating in-app onboarding experiences and improving feature adoption. It lets me build tooltips, modals, and interactive walkthroughs without coding, making user guidance fast and efficient. It solves the challenge of guiding users through the product without constant developer involvement.

  ### 32. Intuitive In-App Guidance with Minimal Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I like the ease of navigation with Userpilot and how it reduces the need for extensive trainings as we are able to set up tool tips and videos. I appreciate that we're finally able to get more feedback on NPS scores because the survey appears in-app, making it easier and more effective than sending unanswered emails. It's great that we can track which products our clients use most or least, which helps in the product roadmap. I enjoy using in-system announcements through banners, which are our favorite mode of communication to all our clients at Workpay. We use Userpilot on a weekly basis to check on product usage and send out announcements to our clients.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Some in app tool tips may break at some point if not set correctly.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot helps us track product usage, aids in product roadmap decisions, and gets better NPS feedback with in-app surveys. It's easy to navigate, and use once you understand all the element placements. Banners and modals are our favorite features for announcements and lauching new features to our Workpay clients.

  ### 33. Boosts Onboarding and Feature Adoption Seamlessly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abdulwaheed F.

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I use Userpilot because it allows me to design and launch product experiences without writing code, which saves time and increases flexibility. What stands out to me is the advanced segmentation, allowing me to target users based on their behavior and deliver personalized in-app messages, making the experience more relevant and effective. I also appreciate Userpilot's intuitive interface and better segmentation capabilities, which were the reasons I switched from a different platform. The setup was relatively simple, and after the initial installation with my technical team, creating flows and experiences was quick and uncomplicated. I rate it a 9 because it has helped me improve onboarding and feature adoption effectively.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I would like to see deeper and more seamless integrations with other tools in my workflow. Expanding integration options would make data syncing even smoother.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot to design and launch product experiences without code, saving time and increasing flexibility. It helps solve low feature adoption by creating targeted guides, ensuring users discover key features.

  ### 34. Seamless Walkthroughs and Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kate L.

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I love that Userpilot is very easy to use, which helps in creating and distributing trainings quickly without needing engineering resources. The support from our Customer Success Manager (CSM) and support team has been fantastic, assisting with various use cases. I appreciate that once Userpilot is installed, it starts collecting analytics immediately, allowing me to update the raw data into human-readable events for my analysts. The integration with applications directly eliminates the extra work involved with our previous solution, in addition to making the end-user experience exponentially easier. The initial setup of Userpilot was very easy, which is a huge plus. Also, the analytics tracking is straightforward and doesn't require additional development work.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I don't like that copying and pasting into modals don't retain the source formatting, even if it's from another modal on Userpilot. Having the paste include the source format would make it even quicker. Also, shared content management could be improved. I have multiple types of users requiring some of the same content and some unique content. The template feature can work, but it requires me to track where the content exists and update it with new content manually.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot allows me to quickly create and distribute training through our application without engineering resources or waiting for quarterly releases.

  ### 35. Flexible Onboarding with User-Friendly Setup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

I use Userpilot because it allows me to build onboarding flows without relying heavily on development. It helps me reduce churn by improving the overall user experience. I like that Userpilot offers a lot of flexibility in customizing the design of flows to match our branding. I can adjust how flows appear, like choosing between subtle tooltips and larger modals, which helps avoid overwhelming users. I also find the platform's interface to be structured in a way that makes it easy to navigate during setup.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I would like to see more built-in A/B testing features for onboarding flows. Also, having more detailed debugging tools when flows don’t trigger as expected would make troubleshooting easier, especially for complex segmentation rules.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot to build onboarding flows without heavy reliance on development, it helps reduce churn by improving user experience. Customizable flow design avoids overwhelming users, matching our branding.

  ### 36. Powerful UX Insights, Easy Setup, and Responsive Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

There is a lot to like about Userpilot but what impressed me the most is the massive amount of insight I can get as a UX Designer/Researcher to dial in my efforts and ensure I am working on the most pressing needs of my users. It gives me all kinds of tools that I can implement to collect even more information and it's super easy to modify and tailer my polls, feedback forms, etc to get the exact information I am looking for. In comparison to other platforms I have used in the past, I have found Userpilot to be incredibly easy to setup and configure. I have no experience with the initial integration steps but I have found it to be exceedingly easy to integrate UX research features directly into specific views, forms, or other elements of our software. I was impressed at the quick responses from our customer service representative, even following up after I had a quick support session using the chatbot. That kind of service is rare in this industry. I plan to use this tool every day moving forward to collect data to inform all of my UX decisions.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Being a UX designer myself I'm very nit-picky about the user experience in software being spot on. I am being honest here in saying that I am a new user to Userpilot and have yet to come across anything that I would say I outright dislike. I did find it a bit overwhelming at first due to the massive number of features available but breaking it down into consumable chunks while I was familiarizing myself with the platform helped. I do wish there was an integration with Click up so feedback could be forwarded to my ClickUp dashboard.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem I have as a UX Designer/Researcher is getting enough quality feedback on a daily basis. Sure, I can do direct calls and interview users but that consumes a LOT of time and I often find users are nicer to me in person than when they have an outlet to give direct, unfiltered feedback. I think the features in Userpilot are far more than adequate to help me collect mountains of user data, even additional data that users would not know to purposefully provide (most used features, user behavior pattersns, etc...).

  ### 37. Simplifies User Onboarding and Engagement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon F.

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I like how easy the reporting is to create with Userpilot. As long as we're passing the correct data, we can slice and dice it in any way we want. The ability to track user events is pretty cool, and I used the Userpilot extension to track all the high leverage user events. It helps us better understand user flows by segmenting our audience by users who perform actions within the first login or as a new customer. The setup was pretty simple from a development perspective, and Userpilot made it easier by categorizing high usage events for me. Overall, it helps us better understand our customer interactions, efficiently communicate with customers, and help our customers better understand our products.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I don't personally use Chrome, so I had to download that to use the extension. I had some difficulty tracking specific events, but I think it was because of the way our app handles user interaction on the front end that made it difficult for Userpilot to categorize uniqueness.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot helps us understand customer interaction, communicate efficiently, and enhance product understanding. It simplifies report creation and lets us track high leverage events to analyze user flows better.

  ### 38. Powerful No-Code Onboarding, but Customization and Analytics Need Work

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darnisha L. | Founder, Non-Profit Organization Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I like that Userpilot makes it easy for non-technical teams to improve user onboarding and engagement without needing to code. It brings together tools for building in-app guides, tracking user behavior, and collecting feedback in one place, which helps companies like myself drive adoption and retention.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Some downsides of Userpilot are its limited customization options, learning curve for advanced features, and relatively high cost. Users also report that analytics and dashboards can feel confusing or unorganized, and occasional bugs or performance issues can affect the experience.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User pilot addresses the issue of users not fully understanding or using a product by offering no code tools for onboarding, in app guidance, and analytics. It helps you guide new users, encourage feature adoption, and gather feedback through in-app experiences. Overall, this can improve user engagement, help people see value faster, and increase retention or long-term success with the product.

  ### 39. Smooth, Design-System Banner Builder That’s Easy for PMs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Apoorva M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

The interface for setting up banners and nudges, with the design system integrated, is very smooth. As a PM, I found it straightforward to set up a new banner without having to worry about design nuances. The builder environment is also quite smooth and easy to work in.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

It doesn’t allow me to create a segment by uploading a CSV of user IDs. It feels too tightly bound to database integration, which gets in the way of quickly building segments for very specific use cases. As a result, it almost always creates a dependency on engineering.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating adoption nudges and monitoring usage data.

  ### 40. Effortless Insights and Outstanding Support with Powerful AI Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Theodore L. | Business Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

The product is fairly easy to use for almost all things we want to do with it. Support is phenomenal for all the things that are not easy or straightforward. We use it daily to make business decisions. The new AI features make it even faster for us to derive information and it even helps find items we were not currently observing. Our developers had the product providing data from our system to our Staging instance the day we signed up.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Engagement features are awesome once implemented, but there is a learning curve. Also, if you have a larger application and you wish to make engagements for various processes, be prepared to dedicate man hours for a full compliment.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UserPilot is a driving factor in our Product Management Business decisions.
Some basic ideas: Do we have the right search criteria in our quick search? Do customers even use this feature? Who uses this feature, let's call them and talk to them....

Also, communication with customers about Support availability, new versions, upcoming events, etc.

  ### 41. Powerful Customer Insights and Precise Targeting in a User-Friendly Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I love how many insights we can gather about our customers and their behaviors, as well as how precisely we can target our messaging. It’s very user-friendly, even for non-developers!

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I wish we were able to measure the effectiveness of a banner message before and after it’s implemented—for example, comparing how many users had 2FA enabled before we deployed the message versus how many have it enabled now. While we can see how many users click the button in a Userpilot message, we can’t determine how many actually follow through and complete the action and updated the user property.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to communicate directly and easily with our customers within our product. It also helps us gather valuable insights and improve how we engage with them. Overall, it enables us to be more strategic and make a greater impact.

  ### 42. Streamlined User Onboarding and Engagement

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I like Userpilot because it makes onboarding really easy with simple creation of walkthroughs and tooltips, allowing users to learn the product quickly. The analytics are helpful too, so I can see how people use the product and make improvements. I love how Userpilot lets me guide users with walkthroughs and tooltips so they don’t get stuck or miss anything. Using Userpilot with our CRM and email tools helps me send messages based on user actions and keeps onboarding connected with other workflows. It has made onboarding smoother and saved our team a lot of time. I would give Userpilot a 9 out of 10 because it’s easy to use, helps improve onboarding, makes the user experience much smoother, and provides reliability.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Userpilot is great, but sometimes it can feel a bit limited when trying to customize more complex flows or designs. I also wish the reporting and analytics were a little more detailed and easier to filter.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot to improve user onboarding and help users understand the product better. It solves confusion by guiding users with walkthroughs and tooltips, reducing onboarding time and support requests, and boosting engagement.

  ### 43. User-Friendly Onboarding with Customization and Insights

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ayushi C.

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I find Userpilot to be a great tool for user onboarding and engagement. It’s easy to use and highly customizable, which helps create smooth in-app experiences. I really appreciate the no-code setup that allows creating personalized in-app experiences without technical complexity. The system is flexible and the user insights are clear, which makes it simple to improve onboarding and user engagement quickly. The insights and analytics are very useful for understanding user behavior. Integrating Userpilot with other tools like product analytics platforms, CRM tools, and customer support software helps create a more complete view of user behavior and improves how we onboard, engage, and support users across the product. The initial setup was fairly straightforward, and the support through documentation and customer service has been solid, making the platform reliable and effective.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Some advanced features have a learning curve, and the analytics could be more detailed. A few more templates and improved guidance for complex use cases would make it even better. One area that could be improved is advanced analytics. More granular event tracking and clearer funnel visualizations would make it easier to understand user behavior in depth. Adding more customization options for reports and the ability to compare different onboarding flows would also be valuable. For advanced features, more step-by-step guidance, in-product tips, and ready-made templates for complex use cases would help users adopt these features faster and get more value from the platform.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot solves poor user onboarding and low engagement, guiding users step-by-step. It's easy to use without developer help, highly customizable, and provides insights to improve user experience and product adoption.

  ### 45. Empowers In-App Onboarding with Speed and Insight

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amit y.

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I love how Userpilot gives me a lot of control without adding complexity. It's fantastic for quickly building contextual onboarding experiences and targeting the right users at the right moment without having to wait on engineering. The platform helps me move faster in reducing user friction and making data-backed decisions about user experiences. I really appreciate that everything is focused on helping users reach value faster, with analytics that clearly show what's working. It saves time, reduces guesswork, and lets me improve the product experience based on real user behavior.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

One area where Userpilot could improve is flexibility around advanced customization and reporting. While it covers most core onboarding needs well, certain deeper UI customizations and more granular analytics sometimes feel limited without workarounds. As the product scales and use cases become more complex, I occasionally wish for more native options to fine-tune experiences or slice data in greater detail. It’s not a blocker, but improving these areas would make the platform even stronger for teams that want deeper control and insight.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot to design in-app onboarding, guide users through features, and measure engagement. It gives me speed and control to iterate on user experiences, reducing friction, and making data-backed decisions. I can build contextual onboarding, target users precisely, and save time without relying on engineering.

  ### 46. Dynamic unique

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Millicent W.

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I really like how Userpilot helps with product adoption and streamlines the user onboarding experience for complex web-based applications. The action-based interactive walkthroughs are driven by user actions, which is a big plus as it prioritizes learning by doing. I also appreciate the input, processing, and feedback mechanisms offered by the platform. The Resource Center is a fantastic central hub for self-service, allowing users to access help articles easily. Overall, I would definitely give Userpilot a 10 out of 10 and recommend it to friends or colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

The charging model where charges are based on all monthly active users on the platform can lead to high costs, especially for those who interact with Userpilot flow. The initial setup of Userpilot wasn't easy at all and presented many challenges before it took off.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot improves product adoption and streamlines user onboarding for complex web apps. It addresses ineffective onboarding and reduces high development dependency with action-based interactive walkthroughs. The Resource Center aids self-service by enabling access to help articles.

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I really like the ease of creating interactive flows without the need to program. The visual editor is very intuitive and allows me to design personalized experiences quickly. I value the advanced segmentation that Userpilot offers, as it allows me to display specific content based on user behavior. I also appreciate how I can build tooltips, modals, and hotspots just by dragging and dropping elements, greatly speeding up the process. The ability to create different flows for new and experienced users, or according to industry or company size, makes each experience relevant and non-intrusive.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

The price can be high for small startups or teams with a limited budget. I would also like the Page_Down design customization options to be more advanced, as sometimes the default styles do not perfectly fit our brand. Additionally, the learning curve for advanced features like custom events can be steep.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Userpilot to reduce onboarding time, improve the activation rate of key features, and decrease support inquiries through interactive tutorials.

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I love how Userpilot allows us to create personalized, code-free in-app experiences that guide users seamlessly. Its intuitive interface makes designing onboarding flows, tooltips, and feature announcements quick and easy. The analytics are insightful, helping us understand user behavior and optimize engagement. Userpilot's personalized onboarding tailors the experience based on user behavior, ensuring new users quickly understand key features. Contextual tooltips guide users exactly when needed, reducing confusion and support queries. Feature announcements highlight updates or underused functionality, boosting adoption. The initial setup was straightforward and user-friendly, with guided tutorials making it easy to create onboarding flows without coding.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Userpilot is powerful, its reporting and analytics could be more detailed and customizable. Some advanced features have a slight learning curve, which can slow down initial adoption for new team members. Additionally, creating highly complex onboarding flows can feel a bit restrictive compared to fully custom-coded solutions. Improving flexibility and providing more granular analytics would make the platform even more effective.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot enhances product onboarding and engagement without heavy coding. It creates personalized in-app experiences, reducing confusion for new users and support queries, boosting feature adoption, and tracking user behavior. It simplifies improving user experiences and makes onboarding more intuitive and effective.

  ### 49. Ease of running various formats of contact with users, without development

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

The ease of being able to run various formats of contact with users without development

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

There may be some bugs regarding the number of responses to a form, participants in an onboarding, etc.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Various product improvements, we had a high demand for building direct contact with the user but it was stalled by the large development backlog.

  ### 50. Effortless In-App Guidance with Precise Targeting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** M M.

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I love that Userpilot allows me to create tooltips, banners, checklists, and modals without needing engineering help, which empowers my team to launch in-app guidance quickly. I really appreciate the precise targeting feature, as it lets me tailor messages and guidance based on user actions, attributes, and lifecycle stage, ensuring users receive relevant and timely interactions, not generic pop-ups. The installation was straightforward and quick, enabling us to start building in-app experiences immediately. Additionally, Userpilot offers much better control over behavior-based and lifecycle targeting than our previous solutions, which has significantly improved the relevance of our tours and modals.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I find the limited design customization without CSS a bit restrictive. While the UI is clean, deep customization like exact positioning, advanced styling, and animations require using custom CSS. I think more native styling controls in the editor would help teams match their brand without extra effort.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot lets me create in-app onboarding like tours, tooltips, and modals without code, empowering fast launches. It allows precise targeting based on user behavior, ensuring guidance is relevant and not generic.
