## About Userflow
Userflow is a Product Adoption Engine built for customer-obsessed SaaS teams running self-serve products. Many teams rely on engineering to ship in-app onboarding, announcements, and user education, slowing iteration and limiting visibility into what drives activation. Userflow removes those bottlenecks with a flexible, AI-powered platform for in-app onboarding and in-app guidance that helps turn users into champions. Build product tours, onboarding checklists, surveys, feature announcements, and a customizable resource center without code. Personalize experiences by behavior or segment to drive product adoption and feature adoption across the entire lifecycle. Userflow goes beyond surface-level guidance. Real-time product signals power segmentation, targeting, and continuous optimization. With built-in analytics and product analytics integrations— including Amplitude, Mixpanel, and cohort sync via Segment— teams can stream events, sync cohorts, and measure impact without stitching together multiple tools. A standard chatbot tells users what to do—or points them to a doc. Adoption Agent reads the question, picks the most relevant flow from your library, and walks the user through it in-app. That’s the difference between in-app AI as support overhead and in-app AI as a growth driver. Userflow installs as a lightweight layer on top of your app and supports modern data workflows with event streaming, two-way integrations, and CRM sync, helping teams close the loop between insight and action. Whether you’re improving trial-to-paid conversion, scaling onboarding across personas, or optimizing feature adoption in a complex product, Userflow helps teams move from guesswork to guided, measurable growth. ## Userflow Reviews
 ### 1. Userflow is the only tool on the market that easily integrates guides, CTAs in context to my app

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg M. | Member, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

Userflow provides a great combination of a flexible UI builder to create interactions and a powerful API to emit and set events.

When we were looking for a tool to create guides we were trying to compromise between a service to measure traffic, an overlay/guide tool, and a way to create flexible interactions with conditions based on actual product usage.

Userflow came out on top in this evaluation because it was the only tool that combined a no-code builder that worked on top of our app with the added benefit of being able to flexibly create interactions quickly.

Also, the support from the Userflow team is superb and accurate.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

No major complaints here. If there's one area where the team could improve, it's in making the analytics area a little bit more flexible so that it's easier to start finding trends across the product for a user or a segment of users.

The current setup doesn't preclude this, but you need to export data or capture it elsewhere in a BI tool to more easily compare the performance of multiple segments or users against each other across flows, events, etc. The current analytics feature allows for a pretty flexible analysis while in a single feature, event, or content flow by people, segments. etc.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userflow is helping us to deliver a differentiated experience for different kinds of users when they first encounter our product. Userflow is also starting to show up in other usage-based behaviors like presenting a survey to a user.

 ### 2. Userflow eats their own dog food

**Reviewed by:** William P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

The usability. It's so easy to understand as a non-technical founder. Was onboarded and live in no time.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

Sometime I feel a little limited in terms of primitives, but its not a big problem.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onboarding users in a self-serve world

 ### 3. Powerful and intuitive tool for custom onboarding, feature releases, surveys etc

- Easy to implement. Anyone can do it, which saves a lot of development time
- Great customer support
- Product is improving with new enhancements and features coming out frequently

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

- customer feedback for beta features (via surveys)

 ### 4. Easy to use and excellent support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

It is easy to understand and intuitive to work with. Every time I encounter a challenge, the team is super fast and helpful. If you want to get some quick wins on your customer onboarding experience Userflow is a no-brainer.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

Nothing really major. Perhaps some changes in the documentation page. It could be more robust with videos and easier to find information.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To become more independent from our product/engineering team when it comes to improving the customer learning experience.

 ### 5. Nice tool for in-app communications

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

It is very easy to set-up tours and flows.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

It is difficult to share unpublished flows with people not in segment.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps-me send internal comms to my users and highlight my features.

 ### 6. I'm very impressed with Userflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Henrique S. | Sr. Growth Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

It's very easy to use and it has everything we need to onboard our customers. Coming from AppCues, I was extremely relieved to find Userflow. This just WORKS.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

The only thing that I miss is a folder option for checklist items. I could also use manual checkoffs for checklists.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Driving adoption, onboarding new users.

 ### 7. Great product add on to help our customers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

Ability to roll out to production many flows at once

 ### 8. Userflow Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edwin B. | Business Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

They have great support if you ever get stuck and a great product to help your own saas users experience a great onboarding process

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

A little bit complex, but great support ot overcome this

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have to onboard every single user by my own now.

 ### 9. Great for customer onboarding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Florian B. | Digital business manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

Great to notify our customers about new features.
We also use it for "flash" survey to understand our customer needs and expectations.
Overall really easy to use and scalable thanks to the localization feature

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

Maybe more features linked analytics which is quite basic (for survey response).

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How to better onboard our customer directly on the application
Better usage of the features
No need to ask IT to push in production

 ### 10. Intuitive and engaging for all user

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura D. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

Journeys for my users are easy to create, see that they work and Userflow gives feedback on how effective they are. I can track what improvements in my onboarding or communication I need to make.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

There is a slight learning curve with certain function - especially around "If" statements for me. The errors were clearly marked in Userflow, and the documentation to help me resolve them was there. If you don't have any prior experience with coding, the complex steps may be difficult.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userflow is solving the issue of user onboarding and getting into the true value of the product. This helps potential users see all the use cases available to them!

 ### 11. Features rich and very intuitive. The customer service is top notch, I highly recommend it.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dorian A. | Chief of operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

- many features (simple and complex)
- very, very intuitive, more than competitors (I benchmarked 5 of them)
- elegant / themes management
- tracking and analysis options
- hubspot integration
- versions management

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

- users/team administration too light
- export of dashboards could be improved

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- user onboarding
- in-app tooltips
- ressources center
- NPS
- corporate communication (new release / webinars)

 ### 12. The best product tour you can find at the moment!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Loïc L. | Customer Success Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

UserFlow is very easy to use and provides most of the features we need.
It allows you to build flows in a minute, to make sure your customers know about every feature you provide, create clever content and make sure they get answers to any question they might have. You manage many languages in your content? No worries, their localization manager is very easy to use and you'll get your content ready to be used from anywhere in a second!
And all of this in a beautiful and user-friendly UI.
Congrats guys!

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

At the moment I would say that the only things I need are:
- More Users (I can have only 5 people in my team as editors)
- Ability to manage bright/dark mode without duplicating content

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userflow helps us bring answer to our customer before they even thought about asking questions. It also gives us more power to promote features and make sure our customers are using our SaaS product the best way they could.

 ### 13. Well thought out, and very usable.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam C. | CEO

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

I'm super impressed with the tools from both how easy it is for us to use the and how well thought out the user experience is for the authors, to how well it works for the users also. Really slick.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

I do wish there was an opiton to turn on "Back" buttons for flows so we don't have to add them manually.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving us in app guided help to reduce our support calls and improve customer aquisition rates.

 ### 14. Great value for money

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

Their editor is very simple to use, very intuitive and easy to navigate. A key factor for me was that it didn't require installation when I was evaluating it: you can see what the builder and end user experience will look like without committing to code integration.
Once I became a customer, I also appreciated how attentive and quick to respond the team is. I don't know how they do it with so few people on their team, but I rarely wait for longer than a couple of hours for a first response, and I was able to get a resolution for pretty much everything that I wanted to get done.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

- Their editor is only supported in Chrome
- Their built-in analytics is very detailed but the user experience of using it is frustrating
- You have to work around some limitations in the mid-tier (only one resource center for example)

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Userflow, I am not dependent on developers to add tutorials and other onboarding elements to my product. I control the design, content and flows and can change them as much as I'd like whenever I'd like.

 ### 15. Simple to use with powerful features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amina Z. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

The usage simplicity and powerful integration with Hubspot

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

There are no dislikes about this product

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User onboarding and segmentation

 ### 16. A great way to onboard users and very easy to use, very intuitive.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juanita S. | Customer Success Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

Creating several flows at the same time.
Easy to use.
Quick help when I need it.
Different ways to approach users and track each interaction with the flows created.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

When creating flows, there are only 3 ways to personalise the experience: tool tip, bubble, and message. I want to find other ways to activate flows.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So far, the platform has helped me understand our product's limitations when creating the flows.
Is not tested yet with more users to extract more information.

 ### 17. User flow is superb

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert T. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

We have a complex site using iframe and complex dialogs. Userflow made creating complex workflow demos a real joy. We are a technical company , and really appreciated the thought and execution of the software - having some insight into what it takes to create this type of product.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

My only real issue is that it is a bit on the expensive side. However, it is a class product and we could justify the ROI.

**Recommendations to others considering Userflow:**

Don't expect to produce a perfect flow first go. Do a number of small but relevant examples. In this way you will get to know exactly how the tools works, and the best way to drive it.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need to create complex demos across multiple transactional pages. Userflow allows us to do this, allowing customers to get hands on experience. It allows non- technical people to create complex demos quickly and professionally.

 ### 18. A easy to use yet powerful tool. A must-have for all SaaS products.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gaurabh M. | Chief Product Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

Userflow has an excellent user interface. For a product that helps other Saas products onboard their users, they have done a brilliant job in walking the talk but gone even further and made it intuitive enough not to require onboarding in the first place. You can get started with your first flow in less than 5 mins of using the platform. While simplicity makes it very approachable, sophistication makes it a powerful tool to use.

In addition to the product being great - they have excellent response time for any Support questions you may have.

The team is also constantly adding new innovative functionality and I look forward to being a long time customer as they add more functionality.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

I don't think there's anything I 'dislike' about the tool - but I do have a few thoughts on improvements and a feature request:

(Improve) Pricing: This is not a Userflow issue specifically but an issue with this product category. The entire product category has based pricing on Monthly Active Users. However, this pricing model doesn't work for all companies - especially if your product has seasonal rises in traffic. I don't want to keep thinking about the pricing of my product increasing every time I add 1000 more users. As a product owner, I want to predict my costs, and I think SaaS products that help me do that are always the ones I prefer.

(Feature Request) Persona-based Previews: The product does a brilliant job in simulating the experience for every tour - better than any other. But as you get more advanced and create advanced targetting, it is tough to understand what product tours are active. It would be great to have a feature that allows me to simulate not only one tour but the experience of a specific persona across the entire platform.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tydy is an enterprise product and used by various user groups. So the problems we are able to solve for are:

(1) Provide contextual guidance for new admin users (without having to read detailed documentation)
(2) Target only the required guidance for different user personas who have specific access
(3) Enable on-demand guides at any point in their journey of using the product.

 ### 19. Userflow is amazing!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vakis R. | VP Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

Userflow is an incredible tool. Saves a ton of dev hours and enables you to drive product adoption with ease.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

Nothing, it's pretty cheap and super useful.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User onboarding, product adoption, in-app education, and much more.

 ### 20. Onboarding made easy for product newbs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kara T. | Director of Member Experience, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

UserFlow has been one of the most quickly adopted products by myself and my team due to the ease of use for those new to creating/working with product tours. The more I dive into the product, the more possibilities I see with it, not just for user onboarding but overall engagement.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

I wish there was a capability to save templates or create frameworks to organize individual flow pieces to re-use in other flows.

**Recommendations to others considering Userflow:**

Go for the trial! Once you walk through the onboarding process of UF while using the product is pretty powerful and indicative of what you can create with Userflow.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Userflow to revamp our current new user onboarding process as well as an integral part of our engagement and re-engagement strategies for existing and churn risk users. Having the ability for users to opt-in more and self-select tours with the Resource Center and provide more options for "self-serve" troubleshooting has helped free up bandwidth for the team as a whole to prioritize and focus on strategic opps.

 ### 21. Couldn't be easier to make totally customized prompts, walkthroughs, surveys, .. the list goes on

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

- The User interface is very intuitive
- Level of customizability for a no-code tool is excellent
- Speed of iteration and development
- Excellent help

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

- Analytics capabilities for the flows are about 80% of where they should be for top tier use in-product

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Qualitative feedback collection
- New & novice user onboarding
- General education and discoverability efforts

 ### 22. User friendly design. Highly responsive team for support / feedback.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

Easy to edit and create complex flows for digital adoption. It's comforting to know you can reach out to them for support at any point and expect to get a rapid response from someone extremely knowledgeable about their product.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

Nothing stands out in terms of dislikes as success from digital adoption primarily comes from us as creators making more effective flows. Would only encourage them to continue adding customization / flexibility in all aspects of the flow design, which they have been seemingly taking steps to do so.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Directly marketing to our users without going through our service teams or relying on email communication. Making tools that can allow users to upskill themselves proactively when they don't understand something.

 ### 23. Great app! Great experience!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Enforcement | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

Great customer service, very easy to use, and has exactly what's needed in its simplest form.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

I don't have any dislikes. Every concern has been addressed.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They've answered all of my questions quickly so there are no issues.

 ### 24. Robust, easy-to-build product tours

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew W. | Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

The core product tour functionality is robust and very intuitive. In-app testing is convenient. It was easy for our developers to implement. Support is responsive and very knowledgeable.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

So far everything is good. A few more data export options would be nice.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We build product tours in Userflow. Userflow allows us to do this without heavy programmer involvement, so we can roll out product tours faster and capture savings.

 ### 25. The simplest and most intuitive flow builder I've seen

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bakul B. | Co-founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

It's freakishly easy to create and deploy guides on any website.
The user interface is beautiful.
The Userflow team is lightning fast in responding to any queries.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

The only thing that put me off a little was that it's a little pricey.
However, if Userflow can help us retain even one customer, then it will be worth the price.

**Recommendations to others considering Userflow:**

Userflow can be the difference between a good and a great experience on your website.
Go for it.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a young startup, so Userflow is extremely helpful in
1. Guiding customers around the product.
2. Get feedback proactively.
3. Early response has been fantastic. Once we have more customers, then we'll get more data.

 ### 26. Great and SUPER simple onboarding builder

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yanis M. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

Userflow is super simple to use and was the only product to do exactly what we wanted: customisable onboarding flows that would trigger based on events & classes.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

A bit on the pricey side however it is not connected to usage, so as soon as you've set it up you can use it as much as you like.

**Recommendations to others considering Userflow:**

Try it out - it's awesome

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onboarding flow to help users better understand our product. We are able to test various features very quickly without any development through userflow.

 ### 27. Impressively intuitive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Felix K. | Head of Product, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

From the first second I started using Userflow I *understand* how to achieve what I'm looking to do. It is impressively intuitive, and on the few occasions that I have not immediately understood what to do, the docs are well written and structured. Apart from being easy to use it is also very configurable; I've created branching onboarding flow in ways I have not seen other tools enable. To add to that it is fast and it looks good.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

At this point I cannot think of a single thing that I dislike. A few errors pop up, but the autosave functionality works well, and a refresh of the page has always solved the problem.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a SaaS product where the key conversion driving features requires some knowledge to use and to use well. We currently use User Flow to help guide users to unlock the value of these features during onboarding. I foresee us also using it for highlighting new features, gathering quick feedback, and assisting users in understanding product features throughout their experience with our product.

 ### 28. I am continually amazed all all Userflow can do.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marilyn F. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

I feel like with Userflow I can do almost anything I want to as far as onboarding our clients.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

I just wish we could implement it on IOS.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were having problems onboarding our clients. Userflow has helped so much.

 ### 29. Best tool for product tours

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Quentin D. | Head of Growth, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

The ability to create complex product tours is incredible. Way more powerful for the price than competitors like Appcues or Intercom.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

The ease of installation and use of userflow

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

 ### 32. Advanced user onboarding.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike V. | Marketing Director

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

I love the flexibility and support. There is nothing you can't do with this tool.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

I don't like the user limitation in the startup plan. I feel like there should be at least one more step before the Pro plan.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a product-led growth SaaS and onboarding is crucial. Thanks to Userflow we got that covered.

 ### 33. The easiest, fastest flow builder on the market

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam B. | Company Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

A clean, visual flow builder that allows you to craft even complex in-app journeys with ease.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

Nothing! Whenever we have had an issue or question, the team has been speedy and supportive, with clear answers that got us back on the right track.

**Recommendations to others considering Userflow:**

It is unlike any other flow builder on the market - highly recommended!

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping new users get oriented to our platform and trigger on-demand content.

 ### 34. A powerful digital adoption platform.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan B. | UX Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

We evaluated the top digital adoption platforms, and User Flow had the most bang for the buck. It was reasonably priced, had excellent UX, and incredibly helpful onboarding and support. It was clearly the easiest to use of all the solutions.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

We've now been using it for several months and there is not much I don't like. There is a learning curve, but the documentation and support are excellent.

**Recommendations to others considering Userflow:**

This is the best solution hands down.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a complex product and the onboarding flows are making it easy to use and get started.

 ### 35. Best in the category

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

We evaluated a collection of leading tools that could help us elevate the customer onboarding and overall trial experience of our offering. Userflow wasn't the oldest or biggest in the category but they were the strongest by far. Their software UI and capabilities are some of the best I have seen in my 25+ career in strategy/UX/UI design. Support is also fantastic, native chat makes it quick and easy to get answers when you need them and their documentation is really comprehensive. They also have an impressive roadmap that I feel will make them the category leader in the next few years. Could not say enough wonderful things about userflow.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

I can't think of anything I dislike about the platform or working with their team/support.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Moved away from a competitor of userflow for added functionality, better support and a much easier-to-use platform which saves us a lot of time.

 ### 36. A great product with a great team behind

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meir A. | CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

The product is compelling and valuable, and it's straightforward to use without wasting development resources.

You can't ignore the exceptional customer service provided with total effort to keep the customer happy, and we never got a lazy reply from the guys @ Userflow

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

Honestly, I can't think of anything. Even we bumped into an issue, we got a creative workaround from support, and it seems like the product keeps developing all the time.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When launching a new product, it is a great onboarding tool and a fast way to offer a quick solution to complex usability issues until they are fully solved with a redesign.

 ### 37. Simply the best user onboarding software in this segment of the market

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam K. | Head of Technology, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

The very intuitive creation process for all adoption features - this includes product walkthroughs, tooltips etc. Having personally surveyed nine different solutions, I can confidently say that Userflow's UI for walkthroughs is simply the best in the market.

Flexible trigger options - our systems have a range of user criteria; users can belong to multiple companies, have multiple roles etc and Userflow handles it all.

Support team - the Userflow team was highly responsive during the evaluation period and this has continued into the post-signup period too with the (limited) questions we have had for them thus far.

Very flexible branding options - we were able to customise the component styles to very closely match our brand.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

It seems that the UI lacks the ability to control a couple of very specific functions such as renaming or deleting environments, but an email to the support team had this sorted in no time so it wasn't a problem.

I would also like to have more control of the variables that we are storing for users, e.g. deleting fields that are no longer used would be nice.

**Recommendations to others considering Userflow:**

In this segment of the market, at this sort of price point, you won't find anything better. Having surveyed nine different solutions, I can say that with confidence. So my recommendation is to look no further than Userflow.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Product adoption and feature awareness

 ### 38. Userflow is simple to use, exactly meeting our needs, always improves, and gives great support.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benjamin P. | CPO & Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

The simplicity of selecting elements in the web app and the multilanguage support.
Also, the support works excellently.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

1. URL matching patterns don't always produce the expected results
2. Missing filters in the User explorer
3. As we are white labelling our platform we would need themes based on user attributes. This is sadly not yet supported and produces some extra effort for us.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We help our customers with Userflow to onboard on ToolSense, show them the release notes or explain recently added features and help them with tooltips. This helps us accelerate the rollout with our customers.

In addition, we really like the NPS survey feature.

Since we use Userflow, we decreased manual onboarding and support drastically while improving our user satisfaction.

 ### 39. It's good to manage workflows for users onboarding and processes they must follow like configuration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

I like the simple way userflow sotfware gives us to contact or guide users through complex processes and they can follow the steps to complete all the process by their own.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

It's kind limited due to the number of users you can track (if you're a startup, but good for general use) and some features are very limited but it has potential.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us as a support team to use the platform as a new communication channel for users without requiring the product to insert something on the website directly.

 ### 40. Userflow has made designing our onboarding experience so much easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marilyn F. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

I love that Userflow puts the control in our hands. Before this, we were trying to design our onboarding experience and have a developer build it. Being able to build it ourselves and make changes as we go has been wonderful.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

Like all new programs, it takes a little time to learn how it works, but overall, Userflow is amazing.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Userflow we found it hard to conceptualize how the onboarding experience for our app would look. With Userflow we can design it, see how it works and redesign as we go. It's so much easier!

 ### 41. Userflow trial review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher P. | Director of Product Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

Easy of adding context-sensitive actions to trigger a flow through my application.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

Difficulty building a complex flow......................

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onboarding new users.....................

 ### 42. Review Userflow

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

Easy communication with Userflow team
Good integration in our software
Tool is easy to understand and adaptable to our needs
Extensive possibilities

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

Sometimes challenging to adapt the flows to your own software --> workarounds needed
wider analysis of user activities would be helpful

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As we have a complex software, Userflow should help us to onboard potential customers and bring them closer to our tool.
Relief from our sales guys

 ### 43. Absolute madness

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Filip L. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

Everything what's inside the product is mind-blowing for us. We have tried many products for onboarding and guiding people who have sign-up for our SaaS application. No one has fulfilled our requirements. It seems like it's too expensive at first glance, but I can guarantee it's worth it.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

There is nothing I can tell I dislike about the product.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our Sloneek (SaaS product) has many features, and it can be complex for users sometimes. Userflow has solved almost every problem we have in onboarding process

 ### 44. Really Easy to Create Flows, Top-Notch Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryo C. | Co-founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2021

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

My favorite things about UserFlow:
* The UI for creating flows is straightforward and easy to learn. Flows can be tricky and complex, but this product makes setting them up simple.
* The UI for testing and debugging flows is equally straightforward. Creating a seamless flow can take some iteration, and UserFlow makes it easy to debug issues or change a flow around.
* Customer support is top-notch. I've had a couple of instances when I've had a question about why my flow wasn't working, and the team has always gotten back to me quickly with exactly the information I need. When I set up a very unique flow that caused a bug, they quickly helped troubleshoot the problem and fixed it within 24 hours.

Their team cares about your success with the product, which I appreciate.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

Nothing I dislike so far. Highly recommend checking out this tool. It's a slick tool with a great team.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've been able to help educate the users for my B2B SaaS platform, improving retention and our bottom line.

 ### 45. Great experience to builders and customers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel O. | Product Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

The seamless experience to build flows and the remarkable outcomes to final users.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

There is nothing in particular. If I should say, it would be cool if was an option to change the avatar on the flow and not just on the theme builder.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Create a tour that seems really "in -app". The "trigger" feature brings a lot of flexibility to the process and enables really smooth flows.

 ### 46. Exactly what we needed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

I like how flexible it is. You have a lot of tools to set up the flows the way you want to.

The customer support is also top-notch.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

I do not dislike anything so far. It works very well and does what we need it to do.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onboarding users

 ### 47. Great experience using Userflow to improve our user onboarding process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elston Y. | Co-founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

Simple to set up and even easier to build the tours.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

Nothing for now. Overall, the experience is really great as it fits in all our current requirements

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improving our user onboarding process by making entirely self-service. Users, once they register on our platform, will be able to know how and where to get started

 ### 48. The best onboarding tool we could find (and we tried the supposed "best")

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe R. | Founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

Easy to make it do what you want
Works reliably
Not unnecessarily complex
all the features we need
Response to feature reuests

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

Not willing to provide high volume pricing at this time

**Recommendations to others considering Userflow:**

THere are cheaper alternatives, but there are also much more expensive ones. Userflow gives the most bang for the buck.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User onboarding

 ### 49. Easy to understand in-app service tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matti R. | Chief Marketing Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

Easy to use and does not require lot of training etc.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

Enabling user attributes to filter and launch guiding would be nice to setup so that it does not require developers (touching website code).

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're guiding customers to use our software's best opportunities.

 ### 50. Userflow review.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Userflow?**

The fact that Userflow sits in-app, especially for surveys. Additionally, the integrations with other apps/platforms such as Hubspot and Slack is intriguing. Though I am not yet leveraging these broader features, I'm looking forward to testing them out.

**What do you dislike about Userflow?**

Nothing so far, any critique I may have is tempered by the fact that I recognize that Userflow is continuously improving.

**What problems is Userflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right now we are not using enough of Userflow to confidently identify any problems or benefits. My previous comments will explain this.
