What do you dislike about UserBob? Because UserBob is basically a simple front end built on Amazon Mechanical Turk, you're often pulling from a pool of rather unsophisticated users. While you can input requirements users are supposed to look at and fit before accepting a job, it's on the honor system, and these criteria are often ignored. Recommendations to others considering UserBob: UserBob creates tasks for folks on Amazon Mechanical Turk, so, your testing with UserBob is limited to the folks that platform attracts. If you require finer segmentation, consider using something more traditional (like UserTesting.com). Granting our designers access to a UserBob account pre-loaded with credit has dramatically lowered the friction to getting user opinions. Very affordable price. Userbob is the best option for an early startup or a small business which doesn't have enough budget to get user feedback about websites, mobile web, and apps. What problems is UserBob solving and how is that benefiting you? I wanted to understand how a new user understand when visiting our website. The test size was relatively small and I had a limited budget. UserTesting was not an option for me. I found Userbob, and ran the first impression test.
