The Ivanti Workspace is a good tool for pushing updates to computers on a broad network of connected computers, particularly in a company with several thousand employees. Pushing the upgrades through a platform such as Ivanti enables employees to access the upgrades independently, without intervention from an IT employee.
Sometimes the pushes for updates occur at different times for different individuals, so some employees may not be able to access the updates in Ivanti immediately. It is also critical to ensure that employees understand all of the nuances of the Workspace, such as the need to hit "refresh" or to restart their machines in order to see a new update available.
Know that not all updates will be pushed onto the Workspaces for each employee at the same time. So, if you have not received your update and others have, it may eventually reach you. Just be patient. Also, make sure to press the "refresh" button if you cannot find your update - it may be there but you made need to update your application before it will appear.
I work in a large company that has a limited number of IT specialists for a large number of employees. Using the Ivanti Workspace Manager enables the IT department to push out system upgrades to all employees at once without the need for individual attention to each machine/employee.
