## User Interviews Reviews
  ### 1. Very good experience!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonia G. | Technicien de recherche, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I used User Interviews to recruit participants for my study. It was easy to setup the recruitment announcement. The team reached out to confirm the recruitment criteria before launching my project. I was able to recruit participants within the first few days. The platform is easy to use and makes it easy to schedule interviews and distribute incentives.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

I would say the service is pretty costly but it is well worth the money to be able to recruit participants quickly.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User Interviews allowed me to recruit participants for my study very quickly. I was able to fill up all my slots within 2-3 weeks. UI saved me a lot of time in my research by saving me the trouble of finding participants manually.

  ### 2. Quality users but website is antiquated and doesn’t work well on mobile

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mathilde P. | Chief Creative Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I am able to recruit qualified participants quickly and I like that User Interviews handles the incentives. I like the video interview question that offers an additional way to screen participants.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

The website is not at all usable on mobile. I really wish that participants would be pre-screened in more detail about their internet and technology setup (CPU, graphics card, etc.) which matters to us a lot and I have to ask separately.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to recruit qualified participants quickly.

  ### 3. User Interviews for manage and recruit UX research participants

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abril G. | SR UX RESEARCHER, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

It's easy to use. The help team quickly responds to your questions and assists in solving any issues. They are constantly innovating, conducting research to gather feedback and improve the platform to provide a better experience.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Lately, we've been having difficulty recruiting high-level or senior leadership participants. Many of the applicants have been dishonest, either by lying or creating fake LinkedIn profiles. We've caught several participants falsely claiming to use our tool, we have to be extremely careful of trusting the participants we recruit here, and we have to double-check that these participants are saying who they are, something that user interviews should improve, because sadly, a lot of these people is here for the money they can make participating in research, so they are willing to lie.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

recruiting users of my product and crreating a ux research hub of my own customers

  ### 4. It's great to recommend to a friend

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sumegha S. | Digital Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I like the way we can create user interviews to know the view of customers.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Nothing yet, I am still exploring the tool

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives us a clarity about knowing where customer is facing issue and what exactly customer wants.

  ### 5. Excellent efficiency and accuracy in recruiting participants

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

Userinterview.com has been a game - changer for our team. When we needed to recruit users with a very specialized profile, we were blown away by how quickly and effectively it worked. In just one day, we managed to find and sign up between 10 and 20 great participants.

Setting up a project on the platform is a breeze. There's no complicated setup process, so we can jump right into our research. And the scheduling and team management tools are incredibly intuitive. They take all the hassle out of coordinating with participants and managing the team, allowing us to focus on the actual user study.

Overall, userinterview.com's fast and accurate recruitment, combined with its user friendly features, make reliable tool for any research team.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

For the starter plan's screener survey, it would be amazing if we could include pictures and images. In user research, sometimes visual elements can convey information more accurately than words alone, which can lead to better communication with participants.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We look for participants with very specific profile, Userinterview.com's large user pool, which serves as a goldmine for us. Coupled with its targeted participant outreach strategies, it has made the process of accessing the right individuals incredibly feasible. We no longer have to spend countless hours sifting through unqualified candidates. Instead, we can quickly zero in on those who match our precise requirements.

  ### 6. A lot of opportunity to give feedback

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chuck M. | Director of Human Resources , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

User Interviews gives me the chance to share feedback and thoughts with a wide variety of companies

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Every reward comes in the form of a gift card, vs other platforms which give Paypal.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to share insight and pay me for my thoughts and experiences

  ### 7. Useful for book interviews and connect all platforms to make it happen

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ambar F. | Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

That it generates automatically all my meetings and keeps everything in order

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

I would like that when creating a meeting follows the title of the project

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Management

  ### 8. Great for finding study participants

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Satsuko V. | Lead Design Researcher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

It’s self serve, which is great when I need to jump on and get a recruitment for a study going. The turnaround is fast and it’s easy to set up.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

It works well for certain users (small business owners) but can be tough to find the right participants when my criteria is more specific (eg. Needing to speak with bookkeepers and/or accountants)

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding qualified participants for my research studies

  ### 9. Easy way to find niche users for interviews

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

Easy to set up and manage project as you go. Chat function is helpful to ensure users show up for interviews ontime. Integration of multiple google calendars and GoogleMeets. Everything is in 1 place.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

I prefer managing the candidates manually, but sometimes it can be a timely task due to the amount of users we see qualified (which is great). Filtering more quickly would be nice in cases where we may have rejected a user but still find value in speaking with them.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding niche users and filtering (via screener logic) out users who are not truly qualified (i.e., good at taking screeners and not being an actual fit for the study).

  ### 10. Easy to use experience - makes scheduling a breeze

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I can get interviews scheduled automatically the next day

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

It's hard to filter in buckets if you are trying to automatically schedule a diverse set of candidates

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to collect customer feedback within days and saves a ton of scheduling time.

  ### 11. Smooth experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Publishing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

It allows to manage participants rather easily, for example sending messages, scheduling both automatically and manually.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

There were some issues with the platform that caused some stress, namely not receiving the messages from participants on my email and links in the consent form not working. Feel like these things should be pretty solid by now.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlining recruitment

  ### 12. Save us a lot of time

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Hardware | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

The panel quality is good.
The fact that it is a one-stop shop, it has the scheduling , payment of incentive and email sending

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

The document signing feature doesn't let you fill field in a document
Support is sometime slow and unhelpful
Many important feature lacking, such as the ability to customize email sequence

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving time in user research taks

  ### 13. Managing interviews is now a breeze!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sumit B. | Product Designer - D3, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

As a person with ADHD, i have always struggled with managing participants, communication, blocking slots during any research study. But UserInterviews has offloaded a lot of that from my shoulders.

Be it the quick picking of participants from the pool, sending timely communications, managing calendar or templatized invites, it's super convenient now. One thing I absolutely love is its integration with calendar that lets manage everything from one place.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Nothing in particular, but a quick on-boarding for a new study could be beneficial. Just asking a set of questions and boom! Everything is ready to go. Maybe AI could help.

Right now, the steps to launch the study are a lil too much 🙈

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User interviews is helping a lot in segregation of users, managing interviews, communication and follow ups.

  ### 14. Removes blockers to research

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

The panel is extensive, and made up of quality people, so I can find suitable participants easily. The UX is intuitive and helpful, so you can get going quickly, and not forgot important steps. And that fact I don't have to worry about paying participants is great.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

There's still some UX niggles to iron out. But it has improved a lot recently. I don't like how it lands me in old/done/draft projects when I go into 'projects'.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enables research to be launched fast and easily. Lowers the traditional barriers of set up, screener writing and recruiting.

  ### 15. First Time User now Long Time Client

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lars F. | Principal, Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

The entire process was a very intuitive and guided experience.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

When scheduling availability for interviews I was not seeing slots that I had already designated open for another project. Maybe it was me and user error given that this was my first time. But managing my schedule was straight forward and I was able to edit and move forward.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Platform is helping me find qualified users in a very targeted way.

  ### 16. Useful recruitment tool - has everything one needs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nayanika D. | Product designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

Have been using this for almost 2 years now to recruit and interview participants for UX research. Very useful for finding good fits, following up with them, and setting up interviews.
The participant pool is decent. The filters for company sizes, demographics etc are granular enough. It has all the necessary and expected features of automated follow-up messages, scheduling links, filtering participants, adding optional guests, and research design set-up.
Creating screeners is quick, and the branching logic works well. Over time, the screener UI has changed for better, but there can be improvements made.
The layout is mostly intuitive. The flow to send incentives is super easy in the prepaid plan. I also like being able to integrate my calendar, and not block interview times separately.
On the whole, it works as expected and has a very low learning curve. We use it for all our recruitment and there haven't been any issues so far. Customer support is quick to resolve issues.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

The UI is definitely a bit clunky in some parts and can be improved (eg: while adding in screener questions, I kept pressing ESC by mistake to escape the fields and ended up closing the entire side sheet, losing all progress - would be great to have auto-save here). Auto-save in general while working on the research design section would be helpful as I keep flitting across tabs and sometimes work across days/ hours.
Would also be helpful to have an option to ask a couple of more questions to a specific participant BEFORE approving them.
It would also be helpful to be able to add little notes regarding why a participant was chosen/ rejected so that you can see them later.
Otherwise, I think it works pretty well and has been a top tool for recruiting and conducting research.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We mostly use it to find high-quality participants in a pinch. On the whole, Userinterviews has an enthusiastic crowd and we receive little to no stray applications. The granular settings help with filtering out everyone who doesn't meet the criteria so we can be super strict with these but still find a decent number of participants. Definitely the access to the participant panel is a big plus.
Also it's great to have a single platform to set up interviews and auto-send incentives as we earlier did it manually sometimes and that took a lot of effort.

  ### 17. Great platform | Helping our product team accelerate towards the future

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

Fast and easy to deploy platform. Able to get up and running within minutes

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Software wise the platform could benefit from some additional onboarding flows to assist non research savvy individuals into usage. Best practices, proven experiment design, etc.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Product feedback and scoping changes to the platform

  ### 18. Simple pay as you go recruitment tool with plenty of control

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pedro Q. | Senior Experience Research Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I like the quality and match of participants we get based on the profile and screener that we create. I also really like the ability to review participants (especially linkedin) to ensure they are a match before inviting them to the study. User interviews makes it easy even for a novice to recruit so it helps us scale recruitment across our design organization by creating recruitment templates for common personas we design for.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

I dislike that we cannot add our own participants and use UserInterviews to help distribute incentives or with scheduling unless we were to purchase the research hub. I feel that some basic things like scheduling and incentive distribution should be included without purchasing research hub. Many enterprise companies have rules about distributing incentives directly to customers so this would help to work around that. In addition, allowing researchers to add their own participants without a research hub could be a way to attract people to join the user interview participant pool and user interviews could still charge a small fee for scheduling and incentive distribution. Seems like and easy win for everyone.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps our team perform rapid recruitment at scale when we want to recruit people who are not current HP customers. Ultimately it reduces blockers due to the recruitment issues and the unlimited seats allow us to democritize research to people who are not dedicated researchers.

  ### 19. Game changer for high quality user research in small and agile teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Panna C. | Principal UX Researcher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

User Interviews has become an invaluable tool for our small, agile team. Its ease of use and the quality of participants—from general population segments to highly niche professionals—are truly impressive. As a team of two in a fast-paced environment, we rely on User Interviews to conduct just enough targeted research that informs key product decisions without slowing us down.

The participants are consistently engaged and dedicated. Recently, during an unmoderated study, one participant reached out proactively to ensure their responses met my expectations and even offered to redo the task if needed. This level of commitment underscores the quality of the User Interviews panel and adds confidence to our research outcomes.

User Interviews enables me to deliver high-quality, actionable insights to my team, making my work not only impactful but rewarding. It truly elevates the research process

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

I haven't had much luck with the participant recruitment in Australia. It hasn't been very bad but not as amazing as NA targets.
There is nothing I dislike about you guys.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User Interviews is helping me do just-enough and quick user research for my fast-paced SaaS-based company.
The quality of participants makes it very easy for me to synthesise high quality insights. I don't have to use multiple recruiting channels, User Interviews is just enough for me.

  ### 20. A very useful tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam S. | Lead Product Researcher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I depend on UI. Much of my work as a UXR includes setting up research sessions. UI makes it fairly easy to find and screen participants for in-person and remote research. I also use them for async research.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Their customer support varies. Also, they don't have an easy way to coordinate multiple concurrent schedules and participants across simultaneous studies.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding participants

  ### 21. UX Researcher

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I like that I can manage my panel participants in one place, segment them for my need, and easily add extra information on them by following simple and straightforward steps. Running a project is so easy and intuitive! A big plus is that support is super helpful and quick to answer.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

What I find least helpful is the filtering options in their panel management, it is not that flexible to work with.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me have easier access to my research participants and makes it flexible to schedule calls with them. This way I could cut down on recruitment time.

  ### 22. User Interview is very useful!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

User interviews makes recruiting and scheduling our participants very simple and efficient. Our team previously did recruitment manually. When we found User Interviews, we were able to free up more time to dedicate to other areas of our studies and projects. I also appreciate being able to contact customer support any time we need assistance with the platform.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Although I appreciate that User Interviews is making an effort to improve and create better support for its users, some of the latest updates have been less helpful and have even made the experience on the platform more difficult than usual. I wish there was a way to revert the updates or add the areas that were working before the changes. I've also noticed that updates can happen quite randomly and without prior notice. This can be disruptive to my work day as it would require me to figure out what's changed and where everything has moved to while in the weeds of my study. The last update occurred during a very time-sensitive study, which created a frustrating experience.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User Interview solves recruiting and scheduling participants for my studies. The scheduling feature and its automated reminders are great. They keep us efficient and organized.

  ### 23. Efficient Participant Recruitment with User Interviews

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

What I like best about User Interviews is its extensive and diverse participant pool, which makes it easy to find the right participants for specific research needs. The platform's intuitive interface and simplified process for setting up and managing studies also save time and effort.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

One downside of User Interviews is their pricing, which can be a bit high for smaller teams or individual researchers.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Participant management in general. The platform's integrated scheduling tools allow researchers to efficiently coordinate sessions, ensuring that there are no conflicts and that participants can easily find available time slots that work for them.

  ### 24. Had to choose another provider

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

Integration with other tools, tips for researchers

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Customer services - didn’t manage to resolve my problem, made me feel hopeless

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recruiting research participants

  ### 25. From Surveys to Insights: User interviews streamlines user research

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I loved the automated scheduling and incentives features of the platform. The reminders and incentives distribution really reduces manual work.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

pricing - cost can add up quickly when running multiple studies.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inconsistent incentive management - researchers can focus on insight and driving value for our clients instead.

  ### 26. Seamless Experience for Product Designer

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erin K. | Senior Product Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

Having everything in one place was so helpful. Getting notified quickly of slots being filled up, and feeling confident in the quality of the matches.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Some of the navigation was hard to find at first. I couldn't figure out once the users were added, where to look for them and their pre-screener information.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have a researcher dedicated to my team, so as the designer doing a lot, I'm always anxious about how much work it is to set up a test and try to do interviews. But the screener and the demographics setting made it so easy.

  ### 27. Great platform for UXR

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

Ability to use it for campaigns and to create a bank of users you can easily reach out to.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

It's not always straightforward to identify previous users that you have engaged with and who were great participants.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need to reach out regularly and quickly to users for user research. User Interviews makes this easy for me.

  ### 28. A fast alternative to recruit people for unmoderated interviews!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

It is user friendly and I like the fact that you can just go to the platform and launch a study without having to spend a lot of time setting it up. It is nice that you can select from a variety of candidates and you can follow up with them about how they can be part of the study. It gives you more control!

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

It is not always possible to get a quick response from the participants and even after they accepted your invitation to be part of the study, it just looks like some of them only do that and then disappear.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sometimes we require to find a specific group of people so it is nice to have a place where we can create a screener survey, launch it and wait to find those you are looking for instead of having to talk to a recruiter.

  ### 29. Easiest Participant Finder

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I think UserInterviews speed is one of their best features as a panel. Secondarily, I love that there are PMs that I can chat with about certain intricasies of my study to better ensure we're targeting the correct type of participant.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Only downside may be panel quality. Throughout my time using userinterviews with multiple companies at this point, some profiles may draw more "casual" participants who may not quite fit who we're looking for.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userinterviews helps connect us to participants nationwide, which benefits our research so opinions we recieve are not siloed into a certain region.

  ### 30. Great for participant selection and management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

The strongest feature of User Interviews that I haven't seen elsewhere is the ability to see a list of all the participants who "applied" for your study, with their responses to the screening questions. It even rates each participant by percentage match to your study based on how they responded to the screening questions.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

However, the communication and integration could be better. Communicating with participants through the app is not ideal as messages can easily be missed. Additionally, it does not integrate with Outlook, so you have to manually schedule each participant - it just holds the spot for you, but there's no actual meeting link.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving recruitment for my studies, and benefiting my greatly by allowing me to choose participants based on their responses rather than auto-recruiting for me. That way, I can ensure diversity in my participant pool.

  ### 31. Quick and easy platform for finding participants to undergo user interviews

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

Setting up a user study is really easy. When I had issues with implementing times, customer service quickly responded and solved my issue. Participants were quickly scheduled, and everything was integrated with my booking calendar which made it really easy to follow through with the interviews. I also like that I can bookmark interviewees that I enjoyed, and find them later.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

I had a situation where I couldn't get users to book into my calendar because I apparently had not opened any slots where I can. However, customer service was able to quickly solve this for me.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use User Interviews mainly to interview users and test our beta designs and get early feedback before we launch to our large global audience. It helps us make user-backed decisions and launch features and designs with the confidence that they will be well-perceived.

  ### 32. UserInterviews is a great research partner

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

UserInterviews has been really helpful to schedule and keep track of different participant tiers, I think the automated emails and ease of use for NDAs is super super benefitial to save time across different research projects

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

There are some updates in the design that make it feel a bit tedious of having to go back and forth across tabs. Similarly I think not having a co-moderator option can make set up a bit tricky.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A lot of scheduling, participant tracking and NDA processing, it has been really helpful in that area!

  ### 33. Great for recruiting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** hannah s. | Senior Research Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

It's great at helping me find unique recruits for my projects.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

You have to message a lot to get more sample pushed and there is some faurd, but I know they are working to combat that.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me find hard to find audiences and people with specific job titles or in specific industries.

  ### 34. Cheap and fast self recruit option

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Market Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

You can set incentives. Find people fast and speak to them before confirming them.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Sometimes launch is delayed or sample isnt blasted out when it could.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

fast and cheap option to find sample especially for quickturn projects.

  ### 35. Some improvements needed but great customer service

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

It's pretty intuitive, there's some learning needed, but otherwise I could set up and recruit for my research projects. The customer service was excellent, especially when participants lied in their answers and still expected payment 😅

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

The issues I had were during participant screening. I can't recall the exact issue because it's been a few months, but I remember using my own spreadsheet when organizing people rather than UI because it was easier. I do wish I could elect which fields to export to a spreadsheet as well, when I did that with UI it exported ALL the fields (there were a lot) and I had to go through and remove the ones that weren't relevant manually.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Let's us do market research more easily

  ### 36. Excellent platform for speeding up customer research

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

- Fast and easy access to a wide and reliable population of users
- Flexibility to recruit through the general population or your own panel
- Flexible options for recruiting and scheduling participants, a lot of automated messages and reminders

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

- The screening options can be a bit limited
- The screener creation tool is a little inflexible (e.g. reordering questions, limited formatting options)

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User Interviews is saving us time finding the right people to talk to - it also does a lot of the heavy lifting helping my partners from across the design and product organisations in my company find appropriate users to speak to, through a self-service model

  ### 37. Great platform for user recruitment

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angelina M. | Associate User Experience Researcher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

After trying out other recruiting platforms I found that a lot of the features User Interviews offers make it a lot easier to recruit the participants I need. The User Interviews gives researchers more control over their sample (e.g., screening, selecting participants, compensating), more flexibility in terms of scheduling, and makes it easier to collaborate with other team members to conduct the sessions. As a junior UX researcher, I'm also really impressed by the resources User Interviews offers to guide researchers through the research process (e.g., articles, blogs, etc.).

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

The only thing I disliked about User Interviews is that the participant no-show rate was higher than expected and compared to other platforms. It does help being able to report unhelpful participants and no shows, but it feels like their process to let participants join/stay in the panel may need to be a bit more stringent.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem I have is procuring a good number of participants who closely resemble our users in terms of geographical and demographic characteristics. User Interviews has been really good at solving this problem for us.

  ### 38. Great experience so far

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nivi S. | Principal UX Researcher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

1. Quality of participants is much better than other platforms.
2. The feature to approve participant from a pool of qualified participants is a very helpful feature since it enables you to make your exact pick. The demographic and background information is rich and helps to understand the participants better.
3. In my experince, customer service had been explemplar. The account rep gets back promptly and helps in pushing out screener if you are looking for certain very specific audience for your studies.
4. Creating tests is easy and quick. Screener module has branching logic and a god variety of question types.
5. Love that I can reach out and interact with the participants from within the platform before and after the test.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

With all the tools/platforms I use in my job, I like User Interviews the best. I wish there was a chat function for quick problem solving.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting me right participants sometimes with very specific criteria. The quality of participants is much better, they provide good and relevant feedback, and I can rate them.

  ### 39. User Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhishek G. | Application Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

The best usage is that it offers survey and one to one interview that is very beefical for any technical aspects. It is too easy to use. The Customer Support is very quick to respond. Many opportunities are coming day by day.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

The UI could be much better in use. The freuency is lesser in use. The implementation is less concentric.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I usually proceed with one to one interview in all the cases. The use cases are resolved. It is giving useful topics to the users to work upon.

  ### 40. Easy to use and great customer support!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Market Research | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

User Interviews is unlike any other recruiting tool I’ve used. Their team is always available and eager to help solve any issues that arise. Additionally, User Interview is incredibly easy to use, with a user-friendly interface suitable for beginners.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

The most challenging aspect of using User Interviews is setting up the screener. It would be helpful to have access to pre-existing screener questions or an easier way to reference screener questions from previous projects. Currently, the only option is to copy an entire previous screener, which overwrites any existing questions you have programmed. I would appreciate having a screener bank for easier access and improved usability.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User Interviews helps speed up our timeline for recruiting

  ### 41. Easy to manage & find participants

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

User interviews makes it easy to manage our internal participant panel with robust filtering and sorting.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Sometimes the filtering options are inconsistent.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to find participants, especially those hard to find ones where we need to use internal customers.

  ### 42. I am positively impressed by the support team.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

My favorite aspect of User Interviews is their support team.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

The fact that I have to conduct the interviews.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To recruit participants for our surveys and interviews.

  ### 43. 10/10 Better than Respondent.io

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

Someone willing to help anytime, every step of the way. I had a personal conierge I would email for help and they would answer within 0-a few hours (depending on the length of question). Customer support is better than other commpetitors I've dealt with.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Some of the participants aren't as honest in their answers, making them get chosen but then finding out their quality and experience were not aligned enough for the interview.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having 24/7 hour customer support with actual people tied to me. Other competitors do not give you intimate, personalized care and your email goes into the either. Benefits me so I have blockers taken care of fast and focus on the important thing, getting my thigns taken care of.

  ### 44. Find enterprise employees quickly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

You can quickly find professionals, espeically if you are helping build enterprise software and need to test with these types of users. Their support staff is only an email away and is mostly helpful when you have questions or need assistance with a project. Their interface is user friendly and they are constantly working on new features. I really appreciate that their screener provides skip logic.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

It's hard to find our specific users, but that's an issue that comes with researching enterprise software. They don't have a usage / analytics dashboard where i can easily see which of my customers have participated in research and in what studies, in one place.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping quickly find users that we can test our designs with, conduct discovery research with, and validate new concepts with.

  ### 45. Two years of positive experience with User Interviews

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leon H. | Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I have been using User Interviews for a little over two years. My primary approach with them has been to access their panel and invite participants to our market research studies. Throughout this period, I have witnessed significant improvements in their platform, especially in the screener portion. This enhancement allows for a more refined way of identifying potential candidates for our studies.

User Interviews genuinely listens to user feedback, and their project support team is always attentive and proactive in addressing our needs during project execution. One of the aspects I appreciate the most is their panel of potential participants. They are up-to-date and approximately 85-90% of them are responsive when it comes to any follow-ups required.

Thank you, User Interviews, for allowing us to be part of your progress and for continuously improving your platform to meet our needs.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

The screener is a crucial part of a project. You have made improvements, which is great, but there is more to do to remain competitive in this business race.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently nothing. I need a better support during the weekend.

  ### 46. Quality solution to get fast, affordable feedback (in certain verticals)

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Austin B. | Vice Preisdent, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

Easy ui/ux, good customer support, works really well if looking for user feedback in a vertical that is more -consumer focused. harder for B2B things

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Some survey respondents are clearly faking answers and that can lead to a waste of money on those interviews

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Feedback on products and industries

  ### 47. Great side income with flexibility and ease of use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I love that I can earn extra cash on the side while doing tests on my own schedule. So far, I've made about $200 in just a few weeks! The platform is super easy to use, and cashing out is a breeze. I also really appreciate how responsive and helpful the researchers are when I have questions. As a researcher, I found it incredibly simple to set up studies and get participants without needing to sign a contract. The integration with other tools is seamless, and the number of features offered (screening, targeting, scheduling...etc), while not overwhelming, is more than enough to meet my needs. It’s a great platform for both participants and researchers.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Honestly, I just wish there were more tests available. Sometimes it feels like I run out of opportunities, and I’d love to be able to do more! In terms of features, while it's easy to implement, the platform could benefit from more advanced options or updates to keep it fresh. Also, as a freelancer, the pricing for researchers can feel a bit steep, especially if you plan to use it frequently.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User Interviews solves the hassle of finding flexible, paid research opportunities for participants and simplifies recruiting for researchers. For me, it’s great because I can earn extra cash on my own time, and as a researcher, it helps me quickly find quality participants without the headache of contracts or subscriptions. It’s easy to use, fast to set up, and super convenient on both sides.

  ### 48. Qualified and responsive candidates, easy to set up and schedule

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I switched to User Interviews to recruit for in-depth consumer interviews after fielding a few similar studies on Respondent.io. It is a similar set-up, good integration with Outlook and Zoom. We found qualified candidates a little more quickly than on Respondent.io. So far everyone has shown up on time!

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Geographic targeting is a very wide radius - either 100 miles or 100 km of what you choose. This was too wide for our study as we wanted rural areas and the radius picked up lots of cities.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Found a bunch of qualified candidates quickly. Candidates scheduled immediately and we were able to fill interview slots.

  ### 49. Great and reliable way to find subject matter experts in your field of interest

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

Overall, userinterview has the best quality in turns of finding users, or experts in my field of interest for research. For business end users, it is super easy. For business decision makers, User Interviews does an adaquate job in that (it is not always easy to find that anywhere else, but UI is my go-to first option).

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

I wish UI's interface can be easier especially for scheduling and approving participants, but they have made lots of improvement over this year. I also wish you can allow certain participants to suggest timeslot that works for them (especially when I am encountering super hard to find users, and I want to conduct session based on their schedule).

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding the right users and demographics to conduct user research.

  ### 50. User Interviews is helpful 90% of the time, the other 10% is sometimes frustrating

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Market Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

The response time is great. You guys also make our job as recruiters 10x easier by getting us participants.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

I would say that smaller markets are a huge problem for User Interviews. A lot of times when our project is outside of NYC, Chicago, LA, Texas, or Florida we often have issues getting a full recruit.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are solving the lack of a database that we have. We are able to use their participants for our recruit.
