## User Interviews Reviews
 ### 1. Increase Efficiency and Reduce Study Execution Pain Points

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaylee K. | Research Operations Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I love how user friendly it and how it has reduced the amount of back and forth required when interacting with potential participants. It has drastically increased the pace at which we can turn around research and reduced the manual steps in our flow. I appreciate the support team as they are always super responsive, helpful and kind. This is a tool I highly recommend!

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

I would love to see improvements with uploading users to a study and not having them immediately imported into the hub. Managing users is a bit more strenuous than I would like and requires too much time and effort on part of our researchers to clean up the participant pool.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has increased our study execution efficiency. It has removed many manual tasks, especially when sending and receiving consent forms and getting individuals scheduled. It is also helping our enterprise see where there is overlap with participants and is helping ensure we don't overcompensate individuals.

 ### 2. Love User Interviews

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valery B. | UX Researcher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

Easy and fast to find participants, it's what I love about User Interviews. The platform is pretty intuitive, and getting started was effortless. I use User Interviews for every study I run, and it saves me a lot of time on recruiting. The ability to quickly replace participants who don’t meet my criteria (or those who aren’t honest—researchers know what I’m talking about!) is a huge plus.

Another big advantage is the high-quality respondents for a fair price. I consistently find engaged and thoughtful participants who provide valuable insights, making my research much more effective. I also appreciate how responsive the support team is—they’re always ready to boost my studies when I need more applicants. Overall, it’s a reliable tool that makes my job much easier.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Some of the recent updates take a bit of getting used to. One feature I’d really love is a quick way to access a respondent’s completed task right next to their name—it would make tracking their progress much smoother. Also, while the support team is great, there are times when I reach out and get the “We’re offline now” message, which can be frustrating when I need quick assistance.

Another thing I’ve noticed is that some participants show up repeatedly in my studies. While it’s great to have engaged users, But overall, these are small issues compared to the value the platform provides.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User Interviews solves one of the biggest challenges in research—finding the right participants quickly and efficiently, (U.S. audience is our top priority), . Recruiting can be time-consuming and frustrating, but this platform streamlines the process, allowing me to focus more on conducting research rather than searching for respondents.

It also helps ensure high-quality participants. I no longer have to worry as much about screening out unqualified or dishonest respondents because the system makes it easy to replace them. This has significantly improved the reliability of my research findings.

 ### 3. 1000% better than using a recruiter like SAGO or Fieldwork

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sofia P. | Director of research strategy, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

The control I have over selecting participants and how reliable participants are - very few no-shows.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

We usually have. alot of quotas and it's tough to recruit specifically to fill those quotas or see how close we are to meeting them (max and min quotas)

Before confirming people, we share participant grids with clients for approval showing screener responses as well as a few backup participanst they could swap in. We do this with a nice looking Google Sheet. It can take a while to create the googel sheet, add people too it, format it nicely, and track on the sheet who we have confirmed, interviewed, etc.It would be nice if UI could help with thi.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick turnaround for recruiting. Clienst expect us to go into field super quickly and the only way we can do this is through UI

 ### 4. Loved working with UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Riya R. | Program Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I think the fact that it is so each to use. I had never used UI before but it didn't take me too long to figure out how to use it. Also, i like the fact that there is someone available to support you in your studies.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

I think one thing that can be improved is that highlight more clearly on why a particular candidate in not fit for the study.
Secondly, I always have to manually go email the support to make changes to the project.
Third, the calendar set up has been tricky when i am making a project for a moderator.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When we do not have a lot of candiatates in our database, UI helps us match to relevant participants.
Sometimes we require very niche participants which UI is able to help with.

 ### 5. Super fast to set up a project and start getting applicants

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I can rapidly run studies on projects that come up suddenly. We are a small startup with few people, and being able to fairly effortless get a project live and be reviewing candidates within 15mins is so great for our speed of learning.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

The UI is a little clunky, but it works.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping us define our core persona, understand how users and orgs are building AI products and what their painpoints are.

 ### 6. A lifesaver tool whenever you need to conduct a research project with your target audience.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Salah M. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

- Ability to find the right participants for the study in 24-48 hours
- Great support and project curators
- The scheduling feature is great
- Participant managment is easy to use

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

- A bit sluggish performance from time to time, but I can see some improvements in that matter.
- Some participant profiles feel empty and there is a need to ask for basic info such as LinkedIn profile in the screeners

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Helps find the right participants from target industries quickly.
- I can complete a research project in a very short time without having to waste time searching for participants elsewhere
- The incentive distribution system from User Interviews is very helpful since we don’t have to manage it ourselves
- Ability to screen and filter participants in a very flexible manner

 ### 7. Good experience

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tatyana M. | internal communications manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

connecting with customers who use our product globally

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

I sometimes find the project set up to be overly complex. feels like there are opportunities for improvement and simplification in the UI

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're learning more about our customers' unique stories and experiences using our product. product feedback is helfpul so we can continue improving.

 ### 8. Excellent for high quality recruitment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

User interviews is my goto for recruitment. I find their competitors have poor pools of candidates who are not honest. User interviews utilizes a double screening feature, plus the ability to have the participants record a video response in the screener. The quality of the participants is outstanding!

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

I do wish it was easier to recruit B2B, but I don’t think that’s a user interviews issue, moreso an issue with how small the population I’m often trying to recruit is (people who use commercial banking treasury management softwares).

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User Interviews solves the problem of recruitment, which is time consuming and costly. They provide an excellent recruit!

 ### 9. Easy to Use!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Market Research | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

The simplicity of the platform's UI. I am able to create my screener in minutes, specify my demos, and launch in under an hour.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

I wish there were added features such as zip code upload and more edit options within the screener creation such as "moving" questions around. Allow more customization to the screener to allow different colored text, images, etc. I don't require Qualitrics-level customization but anything more detailed would certainly help.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to target our repsondents for any qual studies our clients have in mind!

 ### 10. A very useful tool that is fast but still needs to expand the customization options it provides.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Guillermo V. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I like that it is fast to set-up and review respondents. I believe there is a lot of potential here for opening up projects and closing them fast.

Setting up a screener is very easy, and so is uploading the sample that will be used.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

I think it is very limited on what you can do regarding:
- Filtering for candidates before reaching out to them. This way you can select more easily who will be a part of this study.
- There need to be more customization options for screeners, more options to show/hide questions based on previous answers, options for numeric questions, multiple answers for numeric questions, questions based on %, termination criteria expanded to include qualifying/terminating based on which numbers they selected or only answer within a set limit-.
- There needs to be a simpler way of matching data IDs with the respondents in the dashboard.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping me get surveys out faster to respondents and provide easier ways to upload the sample I'm going to use.

 ### 11. UX lead, UXR

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olga S. | UX lead, UXR, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

As a UX researcher, I appreciate how smooth and efficient User Interviews makes recruitment. The participant pool is high quality, and everything, from screeners to scheduling and incentives, is managed quickly, saving me tons of time.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Not much to dislike, though I do wish there were more integrated tools so everything could be managed in one place, from planning to insights.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the hardest part of user research: finding the right participants fast. It helps us run studies on time, with quality insights, without wasting hours on logistics.

 ### 12. Dedicated customer support, easy research setup and recruiting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

Dedicated support team, easy research setup, feedback on research design, easy recruitment, multiple options

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Very high cost per participant recruited, customer support needed to set up specific research designs.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am currently building out my company's product roadmap. We need to speak with prospective product users and buyers to develop this roadmap and validate hypotheses. UI has been helping recruit participants based on pre-determined criteria and enabling easy screening and scheduling for these studies.

 ### 13. Importance in research work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muskan A. | Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

Ease and fast pace recruitment, getting us the right people and they take care of end to end porject management
Screening, scheduling and getting completes. They having amazing pool

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Cost is little high, targeting niche groups becomes little challenging with their current pool and thd cost keeps increasing based on that

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its helps us get completes faster and reach out to so many respondents in short time and also they save our time by managing lot of steps of our project

 ### 14. Great platform, high quality players delivered and the platform does most of the legwork for you.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

What I appreciate most about User Interviews is the high quality of the participants. It’s clear that each person has been qualified, which gives me confidence in the quality and integrity of feedback we receive.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

The lack of European support can sometimes cause delays in moving projects forward. It would be helpful to have more region-specific resources or infrastructure to better support teams operating outside of North America.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User Interviews gives us access to a large, diverse pool of participants that we can easily screen and schedule for testing. This removes the need to manage our own player panel, saving us significant time and operational overhead. It streamlines our research process and allows us to focus more on gathering insights and improving our product.

 ### 15. User Interviews is great for getting participants, even in more niche industries/positions.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

- Very easy to use, and very easy to set up
- Easy to schedule participants
- We've had great luck recruiting small business owners from all verticals.
- When we had difficulties with recruitment, we were able to reach out to support for strategies on how to target our recruitment better.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

- Setting up availabilities is a bit weird
- Didn't have good functionality for scheduling a focus group. We couldn't get participants to list multiple times they would be available at.
- Every now and then we've had a fraudulent participant, but we just report it when it happens.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recruitment - especially small businesses we can't reach.

 ### 16. Ease of Recruiting and Interviewing Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** AVIJIT C. | Doctoral Researcher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

It is user friendly and makes the research process extremely easy. They also have an efficient support which has a very fast response.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Targeting niche groups becomes a little difficult due to its high cost.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User Interviews is the best for efficient research processes and makes finding the right participant easy and effective. The manual recruitment process was hectic and time consuming, and User Interviews is streamlining the recruitment process, saving time and energy.

 ### 17. UI General review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe M. | Market Research Project Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

We received data fast and their time response as well (Customer Service), it's also easy to use.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Some participant's information (Demos) are not up-today, and 25-35% of the participants do not respond our communication.
I would like to have more programming options, for example Piping answers, or add extended logics.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me to find right participants for my market research studies in a short amount of time.

 ### 18. User Interviews is a Great Resource For Market Researchers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg F. | Senior Project Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I do like that the platform is very easy to use and the wide number of regions available (in terms of countries represented and the wide range of regions within each country represented). I also like the quality of the respondents - on all recent projects nearly all respondents were engaged and responsive. Our clients were very happy and that is the ultimate gauge!

Customer service is great too - we can always count on them to step in if any tech issues or if we need very specific targeting (or if anything changes on the initial specs).

One other thing I really like is the ability to easily message respondents - this is key as we frequently have to send reminders or ask them to check their spam folders if they don't see our emails go through initially.

I will continue to use UI on future projects and am very satisfied with the service!

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

The only thing I don't like is that if there is a complex screener - programming is a bit tough. Particularly for "grid" type questions. We are able to work around it but if UI is able to allow for grid questions it would simplify the programming quite a bit.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recruiting tough to find repondents in a wide range of U.S. regions as well as Canada, UK. That benefits us greatly as our clients need us to find qualified recruits for market research studies

 ### 19. Great Platform for Recruiting and Incentives

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sawyer X. | Product Experience Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I like how easy User Interviews is to use. I also appreciate how willing they were to work with our company when it came to pricing out a plan that fit our small business's needs. Everyone I communicated with and spoke to at User Interviews was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Their onboarding process is super helpful as well. It was easy to set up and manage our studies, screen and recruit users for interviews, and award incentives after they completed the interview. It integrated well with other tools we used. I have nothing but positive things to say about User Interviews.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

User Interviews changed their pricing model for Hub so that there was no longer a free version. While we were able to negotiate a price and customized plan to fit our company's needs, the default options were oversized and much too expensive for a small business that only performs 2-4 small research studies per year.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They provide a very easy way to recruit a variety of users to participate in research studies. Most businesses cannot devote the resources necessary to identify, recruit, and screen participants and managing incentives can be a lot of work as well. User Interviews's services make all this accessible to businesses that may otherwise not have the resources to perform user experience research.

 ### 20. Good and promising platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Market Research | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I like the fact that it is easy to program surveys. Their customer support helped me when in need and they were friendly and caring. For my job, it has to be used on a daily basis so its functionality means a lot to me. I also enjoy that the platform is aware of their opportunities and UI continues to evolve. I am excited for how this platform will be once it implements more of this user feedback.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

The platform does lack tools to program more complex surveys. For example, questions with integrated logic or multiple options in charts with different variables. I would also like to have it implement more complex programming variables to improve the user experience and use the platform to the maximum.

In the respondents revision section, there is no way to filter per ID and you have to go through the whole list to review specific respondent data.

When scheduling sessions, would love for it to be an option to assign different moderators in the same study and perhaps also assign respondent variables that redirect them to a specific moderator's calendar instead of using a default and only availability calendar per project.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For our business, the UI team has been incredibly helpful for us to have an easier experience with the platform. UI is syncing our panel sample with their tools so we can direct surveys to specific targets in an easier way.

 ### 21. not waste your time here

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jiangqin M. | AI Data Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

The payment is high list in the task, if you qualify, it will be great

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

I spend some time here, but have never got payment, every time seems I am not qualify, and the time you spend on screen questions not get pay

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

spend a lot of time on the screen quesitions, but not get pay. and hard to qualify for join in the survey.

 ### 22. Use when you want to include industry experts in your product development cycles.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caroline O. | Head of Product Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

We use User Interviews for validating product ideas and to evaluate UIs. It's easy to use, provides a lot of flexibility and I am fan of the professional audience they offer. The service of User Interviews is friendly and pro-active, everything is solved quickly. Also if you wish to collaborate with your team, it's easy to add people to projects. They update their product often and the new features do make the product easier to use.

I recommend User Interviews if you want industry experts in your product development cycles.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

The audience in Europe is still growing which means that we can't target participants in NL and BE. We still need to add the link to the interview manually, it would be great if it's integrated so it automatically adds the link to the correct interview.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- We can now include industry experts in our product development cycle
- Recruiting participants is done by User Interviews
- Incentives are handled by User Interviews
- Communiction with participants is handled by User Interviews

 ### 23. User Interviews makes recruitment a great experience!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Newspapers | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

We're able to recruit from a large pool of users. Participants are super high quality. We decided recently to only recruit within our 29 local news markets my company operates in, and there are more than enough quality participants. User Interviews CSMs are always available. When we choose participants and invite them to schedule sessions, they always schedule between 1-2 days. We've had very few no-shows. The tool integrates well with tools for conducting tests. Overall, we love User Interviews.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

The interface could use a bit of help. Sometimes it's confusing to navigate things such as my Google Calendar integrations. When I have 95% of the project set up but something is blocking me from launching it it's hard to figure out what's blocking it.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem User Interviews solves is recruitment, making it easy to recruit users for testing. It also solves the problem of scheduling and following up with participants. It automates emails around scheduling.

 ### 24. User Interviews is powerful with automatic features that make spinning up testing generally fast.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I really like the automated emails you can schedule to send to users.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Right now our company has a lot of documentation about how best to launch a research session and I'm not sure I could do it correctly without that. User Interviews could reduce the need for that with some more clarity in the settings you have to select. I would also love to see them make it easier to upload your own set of users to the platform.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need to be able to quickly spin up testing, facilitate tests and pay users quickly and User Interviews helps to automate that process well.

 ### 25. Great for assisting with our recruitment needs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Market Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

The DIY programming is easy to use and understand. It allows our team to set up projects quickly and get launched at our own pace as needed. The UI panel also has great reach in some tougher to reach markets such as Detroit, San Antonio. St. Petersburg, etc. The ability to message participants within the platform is also helpful when we're chasing a much needed "needle in a haystack" profile. The team is always fast to respond to any questions or needs as well. The data exports allow our team to integrate participants into our native software to move them along in the process.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

There are some programming limitations with features such as skip and display logic. While the platform has expanded capability in the past two years that I've been using it, question format is still limited which prohibits us from using the platform on some more complex projects with typing tools and deeper segmentation. There are also some restrictions on multi-phase research that make set up of such projects more time consuming and confusing.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User interviews assists my company with supplementing our research efforts, particularly in harder "secondary" markets where our own reach is more limited. It's fast and easy to set up which makes it our first choice when considering additional vendors to supplement our efforts.

 ### 26. Select the participant recruitment criteria fit for your study!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

The best feature of User Interviews that I have not been able to find elsewhere is its ability to allow you to choose participants based on their responses to your screeners - where it even keeps track of different screeners you may use, and also rates participants for you based on their responses. It is so easy to use and ensure that you are getting participants that are the best fit. Until today, it has been the best recruitment tool I've used.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Their home page organization could use some work, especially for bigger teams where multiple people are using the tool. It just has: all, draft, active, pending close and completed, but you can't add sub-folders within that. Makes it hard to find previous studies

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User interviews enables the quick finding of participants that fit a specific criteria - as compared to going through a panel that takes a lot of time. It allows for pretty extensive screening, and does a good job of tracking & organizing the different pools of participants that are interested

 ### 27. Great for insights at a fast-pace

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Market Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

User Interviews is a very powerful tool for reaching consumers (and businesspeople) relatively quickly. They have a wide pool in a variety of countries, and for the most part, that pool is very strong. It's simple to use and intuitive for quick research work, or even more elaborate work over a period of time.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

They are often implementing UI developments that may be useful for some - but are not always directly relevant for my company's use cases. However, they are very reachable to discuss this with you if you have any queries/concerns - it feels like an open dialogue rather than a 'we removed that feature and that's that'. Fraud has increased over the last couple of years but any fraud reports I file are validated most of the time - I'd say 75% of people that I report as fraud are deemed genuine by UI and removed, which keeps the bulk of the pool healthy.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UI allows us to reach a mass of people very quickly. It varies, but some audiences on UI respond /very/ quickly (within an hour or two) which is perfect for us.

 ### 28. While some value exists, the platform is swamped with fraudulent activity, so caution is required

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

Access to relevant research participants based on a variety of attributes

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

1. Tons of fraudulent activity, such as the same individuals joining a study multiple times from different accounts or misrepresenting themselves. You really need to ensure validity yourself, such as by confirming participants' identity or attributes in various ways, before relying on their data. Without that, my study would end up with potentially tens of percent, maybe even most, of the data in it being based on fraudulent participants.
2. Recruitment prices for B2B participants are high, especially considering the low quality of the participant list they generate, which requires the research admin to do significant participant validity screening themselves (you can get refunded for fraudulent participants, but that requires identifying them first, reporting...).

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access to survey audience based on a high variety of attributes. Potentially can save a lot of time and energy trying to recruit such audience myself.

 ### 29. Complete Research platform!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arun C. | Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

Authentic users and real participants. Top quality of responses which helps us understand the market better. Seamless incentive disbursal process, allows us to source participants as needed.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

They should include more diverse and niche industry users/participants.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sourcing participants for surveys, authentic panel which saves us time, efforts and gives better quality of data. Also the incentives are handled effectively

 ### 30. Automation of administrative research processes

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

What I liked most is that it's quite easy to set up a research project with the features you need, even with your user database. Once this work is done, the UI handles invitations and sends all communications. Integration with other communication tools also makes it easier to shorten the time required for these tasks, which are usually more tedious for me, allowing me to focus more on other tasks, such as study preparation or analysis.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Should improve the customization of some email characteristics, as some users find them too different from the ones they usually receive from us, which can cause them to interpret these emails as suspicious.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping me a lot with the operational aspects of research and also with managing the incentives.

 ### 31. Best platform for Deep, qualitative insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** NISHITH J. | Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

It helps us with our projects when we are struggling, it had ease of use. Allows probing deeper into unexpected or revealing topics.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

I feel sometimes in some projects it has limited sample size.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It takes away the problem of manually finding and scheduling participants, letting me focus more on conducting quality research and less on logistics.

 ### 32. Good panel which helped me finding some challenging participants

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shweta J. | Research Associate, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

it has a fixed set-up which i find easy. Wide panel of participants which helps you getting fully recruited quickly.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

It takes a bit to load the website whenever i open it.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Whenever we struggle with niche audience and completing quota, we launch our project on USER Interviews for completing the quota and helping us find right participants.

 ### 33. Fantastic panel

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandra Z. | Lead UX Researcher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

User Interviews has an amazing curated panel of technical participants that I need in my work. Besides that, their scheduling system is easy to use, there's convenient integrations, and their support is there when I need them.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

I wish they had functionality to sync calendars between multiple studies!

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User Interviews is giving me access to participants who aren't our company's customers - I would have a hard time recruiting that group otherwise. We also use it for all of participant management/communication and hosting our own participant panel.

 ### 34. Great research tool with some limitations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

It’s pretty easy to set up your research project in UI. It’s also intuitive how to manage participants.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Some simple things like participant filtering feel overly complicated as you can’t filter and sort directly in the table. Also, you can’t remove participants from your project pool once you add them without having to contact UI which is an odd choice.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UI makes setting up and managing research projects easy. The automated participant contract is great.

 ### 35. Quick way to recruit quality interviews

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Garred S. | Market Research and Insights Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

We can set up a project very quickly. It allows us to reuse some of our previous projects when needed and the candidates we typically interview have been screened and meet our needs. The platform is fairly simple to use and to understand without needing any tutorials or hand holding from a customer development manager

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

The screener survey needs a little bit of attention. The skip logic and a few other features aren't as robust as what you would get from a company that is focused specifically in survey research. It does the job for recruiting people, but at times does take an extra step or question to make sure we get the right people in.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User Interviews is making it possible for us to talk to consumers across the US in a quick and efficient way with minimal costs. Their panel of recruits have been extremely helpful in our team being able to do national interviews and focus groups

 ### 36. Recruiting with ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shana A. | Research coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

The ability to recruit quickly. I can fill my recruits within a day or two.

User interviews are easy to onboard for team members. Calendar integration is a helpful feature that reduces scheduling errors.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

There are a few areas that could be easier to navigate. Finding billing statements could be a bit easier. Also not having the ability to change the incentive without contacting customer support to get tough recruits filled can be frustrating.

We are a consulting company so subscribing to the hub is a tossup. We are often provided participants from our clients and the hub works perfectly for that. However, we don't tend to need to manage a group of 1000 participants.

I also miss being able to assign different moderators to specific time slots. You can change the moderator but it is after the face. We occasionally conduct a recruit that is filling 2 different segments of a study. The 2 segments have 2 different moderators. I would be great to assign a moderator at the time of adding the time slots for availibility.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User interviews helps us complete recruits quickly. When working with our clients with tight turn around timelines this is a great benefit to hitting their deadlines, I am confident that we can complete recruits with appropriate participants within the time constraints that we can face.

 ### 37. Great and reliable recruiting resource

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

Very diverse candidate pool and attentive customer service. I've been using this platform for at least five years and have seen the quality of participants, the services/integrations, and the UI improve.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Sometimes for a niche study it takes time to recruit, which is understandable

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I predominately use User Interviews when reaching out to a niche participant pool.

 ### 38. Great tool to democratize people centricity efforts

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Xavier V. | Global Insights & Analytics Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

The platform is extremely easy to use and having the possibility to create templates makes it really simple and fast to initiate new projects.
Recruitment is quick, premium features allows you to review potential respondents with a bit more scrutiny.
This takes the whole logistics of setting up qual out of the way, leaving you with more time to do the actual qual work.
The customer success team is great, always available, and providing support when needed.
The tool integrate with whatever email and meeting system you are using, so you can symchronize your calendar to get the interviews set up.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Although it takes away the hassle of the setup, it does not cover whatever happens after, namely summarizing the interviews, extracting learnings and insights. That work is still on you.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IT allows us to put qual in the hands of more people. ONce we teach people how to do it, and lower the barrier to create a project, more people in our insights and marketing organization feel like they can talk to people, consumers, shoppers. IT becomes a muscle to train, not a hassle.

 ### 39. Great in a pinch!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yazmeen P. | Quant Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

We needed to fill a recruit that same day, and we were able to do so no sweat! Such a life saver.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

The capabilities programming-wise can be a bit limitting, but ultimately for getting respondents quickly, the benefits outweigh the cons!

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The time it takes to recruit!

 ### 40. Great pool of users; highly responsive team; thoughtful UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

It's hard not to list too many things. First and foremost, they have a great pool of users to pull from, which is the most imoprtant piece here. Secondly, they've built a thoughtful product and UI that makes it easy to source, screen, and schedule those folks. And finally, they're team is highly, highly responsive, which makes the world of difference to me, especially when I'm trying to move quickly.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Only real knock -- and this isn't really UI -- is sometimes interviews will cancel last minute, which can be frustrating. I'm not sure what theyt do to discourage that / make sure those folks don't continue that pattern of behavior with others. That being said, this isn't the majority of my interviews. Definitely a minority.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Evauating customer pain points, PMF, and sourcing trial users.

 ### 41. Easy to use service for quick and effective surveys

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** PLUG M. | Program Support Apprentice, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

Streamlined easy process to complete survey with verification

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Not always formatted correctly on multiple choice answers

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing me the user to take part in multiple different surveys provided by their clients

 ### 42. Helps make recruiting and managing users easier

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Facilities Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

Creating, curating, and managing our own panel of users.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

While the UI has been updated and revised, there are some nagging things. For example, when I select "show my projects only*, it'd be nice if that was not required every time I login. Also, there are popups (like asking if I need help or want to chat) - and those cover a button I need to click or otherwise are in the way.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Faster and easier management of users for UX research activities.

 ### 43. Great user base of respondents

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

It has easy and user friendly UI and the large, diverse user base, which makes finding and scheduling relevant participants quick and efficient.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

It has relatively high pricing and some recruiting restrictions, especially for certain demographics which is not ideal for some research needs

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Main goal is reaching external respondents outside of our own app. User Interviews is good at making this process quick and efficient

 ### 44. Fast, Global, and Precision-Driven Recruitment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel B. | SVP Research & Innovation, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

User Interviews is a powerhouse for quick, efficient recruiting. I love how easy it is to find quality participants fast, with a global reach that’s hard to beat. The platform’s filtering capabilities are excellent, allowing me to narrow down on specific demographics or preferences with precision. Plus, the cost-saving packages make it an affordable choice for consistent research needs.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

I find it frustrating that video previews of participants aren’t available without upgrading to a more expensive plan, which feels limiting. Also, scheduling could be smoother—there’s no direct integration with Calendly, making coordination more tedious than it needs to be.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is an outstanding tool for reaching a wide variety of potential participants across regions. It is easy to use and makes consumer research fast and pain free. We utilize it for qualitative research recruiting, the ability to design custom screening criteria is fantastic.

 ### 45. Easy to use and customer support team assistance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

Easy to use and customer support team assistance

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Nothing to note about disliking, platform is easily navigated

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to use and customer support team assistance

 ### 46. A great tool for streamlining research recruitment :)

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** tiffany l. | Principal Product Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2024

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

User Interviews makes it incredibly easy to find the right candidates for my research. I particularly love the templates feature, as I often conduct similar types of research and this saves me time. Inviting team members is also a breeze, making collaboration seamless. Overall, it's the best tool I've come across for my recruitment and research needs.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

The only issue I've encountered is that certain project settings were changed without my knowledge, which affected my recruiting criteria. I'm unsure if this was due to user error or an external adjustment, but it expanded my search criteria and locked me out of fixing it easily. I had to either recreate the project from scratch or spend extra time filtering out candidates that weren't relevant. This was frustrating, but it's been my only negative experience with the platform.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User Interviews is solving the challenge of quickly finding high-quality participants for user research. It helps streamline the recruitment process by providing a vast pool of candidates and allowing me to set up repeatable research templates, which saves significant time. This tool benefits me by reducing the manual effort involved in sourcing participants and ensuring that I can maintain consistency across similar research projects. It also simplifies team collaboration, making it easier for my team to stay aligned on recruitment and research tasks. Ultimately, it's making my research process more efficient and effective.

 ### 47. Makes it easier to find professional participants

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelsey T. | Lead Product Researcher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I love how easy it is to find participants that are otherwise hard to access. We need to recruit professionals with lots of experience, which can be difficult to do!

The customer support team is also really helpful when we need a special request :)

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

Finding people at c-suite level is difficult (but not impossible on User Interviews), so if I had one wish, it would be for folk in executive teams to sign up!

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to access professionals in the niche subject domain our software is for

 ### 48. Time-saving, easy to use, and stable app for UX researchers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Publishing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

User Interviews makes the research process very efficient. It's easy to use, the site is very stable, has the features that we need for most research projects. It allows access to an external panel as well which is helpful when our own panel does not suffice. It works well with calendar integrations. Customer support is super helpful and responsive.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

For diary studies, it does not offer enough options so have to use workarounds which is challenging. Would be nice if some UI elements could be customised per user, as opposed to per account

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User Interviews offers a central hub to complete all logistics steps such as recruiting, scheduling, and paying participants. This was done before through several excel sheets, amazon gift cards, etc.

 ### 49. User Interviews makes managing a project a breeze

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I was able to manage both my qualitative and quantitative studies easily using the Research Hub. I was able to get the incentive to the participants almost immediately after they completed their interview. They are very customer focused and their reps are always very helpful.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

I wish there was a way to contact Support other than through email. You have to wait for a response when sometimes you have a pressing issue that needs immediate resolution.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enables me to manage my projects through one dashboard.

 ### 50. Good tool, not always quality participants

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2025

**What do you like best about User Interviews?**

I love how easy it is to source, screen, and schedule participants for moderated interviews or unmoderated usability testing and how it can easily port over to other testing tools such as Lookback.

**What do you dislike about User Interviews?**

We often get very poor quality participants, for the amount each person costs, there needs to be better quality control. There are too many people who don't follow instructions, read the prompts, or answer the questions that are clearly stated and present on the screen.

**What problems is User Interviews solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Participant recruitment, especially, fast customer recruitment
