Once setup, I don't have to do anything and it will notify me if and when it goes down. Then again once it's up. This way I don't freak out if I see the email late and didn't catch it on when it went down. The free plan does pretty much everything a single website owner could ask for. If you have many sites to check then you'll have to upgrade but I found it cheaper than most of the other solutions available. **What do you dislike about UptimeRobot?** Haven't used it long enough to find anything I disliked about it. I guess the UI could be a little "fancier" but that's not a concern of mine. I just want to know if my site is down. **What problems is UptimeRobot solving and how is that benefiting you?** Knowing whether my site is up or down. We rely on state funding (grants) for our business and along with those grants we must provide uptime reports on parts of our website. Currently, we have to ask the hosting provider for these reports along with pulling the system logs from another server to find out when the server rebooted and how long it was down for.
