## Uptime.com Reviews
 ### 1. Reliable Real-Time Monitoring with Room for Growth

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Munikiran R. | Network Operations Center Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I use Uptime.com to monitor website availability and ensure all services are running without downtime. The real-time alerting system and detailed monitoring insights are the most valuable features, helping in quick issue identification and fast response. Real-time alerts notify me instantly about any outages, allowing for quick response, while detailed monitoring insights help in analyzing root causes and preventing recurring issues. The initial setup was fairly straightforward and easy to get through. The interface is intuitive, which made configuring monitors and alerts quick. Most basic setups could be completed without much effort, and the documentation was helpful when needed.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Alert noise reduction and more granular configuration options would be beneficial. Additionally improving reporting flexibility would add more value. For reporting, more flexibility in building custom reports would be valuable. This could include the ability to create tailored dashboards, apply advanced filters, schedule automated reports, and export data in multiple formats. For alert noise reduction, I'd like to see better deduplication and correlation of alerts so that related issues are grouped into a single incident instead of generating multiple notifications. Handling of flapping alerts could also be improved by introducing intelligent suppression or cooldown periods.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Uptime.com to monitor website availability, detect issues quickly, and ensure services run without downtime. It solves the problem of delayed incident detection with real-time alerts and detailed monitoring, reducing downtime and ensuring a faster response to outages.

**Official Response from Chinedu U:**

> Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with Uptime.com — we really do appreciate it!

 ### 2. Incredibly Handy Tool for Scheduling Downtime and Better Time Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishal M. | System Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I just wanted to share my thoughts on a tool I recently started using for scheduling downtime. I find it incredibly useful and handy for managing my time effectively.

It's really made a difference in how I plan my breaks and downtime, helping me stay refreshed and focused. I think it's an important tool that can benefit many people, and I plan to recommend it to my friends!

If you’re looking for something to help with time management, I definitely suggest giving it a try.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

I wanted to touch base regarding the GUI of uptime.com. I believe there are some areas where we can enhance the user experience and make it more intuitive.

Let’s brainstorm some ideas and possibly set up a meeting to discuss this further. I think it would be great to gather everyone’s insights and come up with a solid plan to improve the interface.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I wanted to take a moment to emphasize how beneficial it can be to schedule some downtime for ourselves. It’s a great opportunity to recharge and come back with fresh perspectives.

If anyone has suggestions for when would be a good time to take a breather, feel free to share. Let’s make sure we’re all taking care of ourselves and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

 ### 3. Maintenance scheduling is now too complicated. The pre-beta version was much better

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I used to like it, but I have started to dislike the platform due to the complexities of maintenance scheduling and the fact that the support team is taking too long to resolve issues. A simple rollback would help, but they are not doing it. This update is the worst; the pre-beta version was definitely the best

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Maintenance scheduling has become far too complex, and the support team is taking too long to resolve the issue. A simple rollback would help, but they are refusing to do it. This update is the worst; the version before the beta was much better. Previously, searching for and scheduling maintenance was easy and could be done in no time. Now, even for a simple schedule, we have to navigate back and forth, and things still get missed because a simple multi-select button is missing. If we search for tags, we get results but can only select one at a time, which is useless.

Furthermore, the support team should engage with customers over the phone instead of exchanging endless emails and chats. This only wastes time without providing a solution, which leaves customers frustrated. Another issue occurred when I requested a call: they arranged a Google Meet, but they disconnected before I could finish presenting all my questions and concerns, and they never reconnected. I was left saying, 'Hello? Hello? Is there anyone there to help?' which was highly unprofessional and annoying

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If you operate a website, SaaS product, or service where uptime and performance are crucial, and you need to monitor various metrics like site speed, transactions, APIs, and status pages, this is especially relevant.

**Official Response from Chinedu U:**

> Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with Uptime.com — we really do appreciate it!

We would like to learn a bit more your experience with the search feature and try to resolve it for you.

 ### 4. Uptime.com is one of the best monitoring services we're using

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Georg R. | Senior Data Scientist, Utilities, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

A few years later, uptime.com still works very reliably, the free tier has still lots of options and the basic functionality hasn't changed. Good to see that.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

I have nothing to add to my review from two years ago, when I wrote: The pricing model is not really competitive from my point of view. A lot of options could also be achieved by a dedicated solution in the private cloud we're using.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We definitely need to know when and if our website is down. It did not happen so far, but during the nightly tests we ran, uptime.com reliably alerted us so that we could have taken action in a real event.

 ### 5. Cost-Effective Enterprise Monitoring with Excellent Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

We were after a simple external pinger service. There are many out there, but they're all very cheaply done. They do the job but suffer api issues and other problems that expose their lack of support and professionalism. Uptime.com strikes a perfect balance of being cost effective but also being a well run tech company. They have everything you'd expect from an enterprise supplier, and don't charge the earth for a simple service, like Datadog, Pingdom, etc.
Their account management, support, and enhancement processes have been solid.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Some features are missing to really complete the picture, but we've not been a customer for long and some have already been addressed.
I'm very confident that we'll see the others delivered also.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main reason for purchasing uptime.com is as a simple external pinging service. The reason we migrated off a previous provider was because of unreliable APIs and support when their service was causing issues.
Uptime.com has none of these problems, is a better enterprise level partner, and their customer service is top notch.

**Official Response from Chinedu U:**

> Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback about Uptime.com — we truly appreciate it!

We're glad to hear that your experience has been positive overall and that some of the features you were looking for have already been addressed.

We would love to learn more about the additional features you feel would help complete the picture for your team. Understanding which capabilities would provide the most value helps us prioritize future improvements and better meet the needs of our customers.

Please feel free to reach out to our support team at support@uptime.com with any additional details or suggestions you'd like to share.

 ### 6. Solid, Flexible Monitoring with Great ROI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Wholesale | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

We recently implemented uptime.com to monitor the health and availability of our production website, and overall the platform has been solid and straightforward to use.

The setup process was relatively easy. What stood out most, though, was the flexibility to configure monitoring that goes well beyond basic uptime checks. We were able to set up multi-region monitoring (US East, West, and UK), SSL/TLS certificate validation, content validation using regex matching, HTTP status code enforcement, retry and sensitivity thresholds to reduce false positives, and escalation notifications for our internal team.

We especially appreciated being able to tune monitoring behavior so we didn’t get unnecessary alerts, while still catching real outages quickly. Features like retries, multi-location sensitivity, and response-time SLAs helped us build a more dependable monitoring setup than a simple ping check.

We also run behind Cloudflare, and uptime.com worked well in that environment once we properly configured probe allowlists and headers. It provides enough control to feel production-ready without becoming overly complex.

The interface is clean and well organized, particularly after you understand how the different monitoring sections fit together—Validation & Security, Execution & SLA, and Escalations. The testing tools were also useful during setup, since we could immediately confirm whether our monitoring rules were behaving as expected.

Overall, uptime.com provides a strong balance between simplicity and advanced monitoring capabilities. It feels well-suited for teams that want more than a basic uptime monitor but don’t necessarily want the complexity of a full enterprise observability platform.

From a cost perspective, we’ve also been happy with the ROI at the pricing tier we selected. The feature set, flexibility, and monitoring reliability have justified the investment for our team without feeling overly expensive or enterprise-heavy.

We’re confident in the setup now and feel much better about detecting downtime, SSL issues, and site health problems proactively.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

There are a few areas that could be improved. Some UI labels—especially those related to string validation—could be clearer for newer users. A few of the more advanced settings also need additional documentation or context than what’s currently provided. Finally, the escalation behavior may not be immediately intuitive, particularly for smaller teams.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com helps us proactively monitor the health and availability of our website, so we can spot issues before they significantly affect customers or internal teams. Before implementing it, we had limited visibility into outages, SSL problems, or performance degradation unless someone happened to notice something manually.

With the platform, we’ve been able to build a more reliable monitoring setup using multi-location checks, SSL validation, content verification, response-time tracking, and escalation notifications. As a result, we feel more confident that we can detect real issues quickly while keeping false positives to a minimum.

It has also streamlined internal communication, since alerts are automatically routed to the right team members rather than depending on manual checks or customer reports. Overall, it provides better operational visibility and more peace of mind around website uptime and reliability.

 ### 7. Fast Setup, Deep Customization—Reliable Monitoring with Strong Slack & Atlassian Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

It is very straightforward and easy to configure. You can start meaningful availability monitoring and alerting in 2 minutes, and then spend 3 more minutes configuring alerts and statuspage, and you have a fully working basic SLA monitoring solution. What i enjoy more though, is how deep into technical details and integrations you can go into, how customizable it is, once you've configured your basic checks.
I've consistently experienced situations where Uptime would detect customer facing availability issues faster and more reliable than our own internal systems, and with Slack and Atlassian stack integration all tickets were raised automatically, on-call engineers were notified in seconds. in my role as SDM lead, i found great value in reporting side as well, producing structured SLA reports.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

nothing. if i did dislike something - i'd use any number of competitors who provide similar service. but so far, having tried several major ones, i'm staying on Uptime due to its value, and effect on our customer satisfaction

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customer satisfaction is no doubt a #1 problem that we solved. Specifically we got quite a bit of negative feedback regarding the fact the customers were discovering and reporting issues earlier than we could detect and raise an incident. With uptime our detection speed improved around 10x, it was down to couple of seconds for the customer facing issues, meaning that we could act upon this faster, and number of incidents that customers reported earlier than we did fell by 87% within couple of months

 ### 8. Clean Interface, Proactive Monitoring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I use Uptime.com to monitor the availability and performance of my external services and servers. I really appreciate its proactive alerts when a server or service goes down or when the performance is not optimal. The user interface is clean and easy to use, which makes setup and ongoing management simple and straightforward. I can clearly see all of my monitored services, their settings, status, and historical data. Making changes to any of the monitored services is also very user-friendly. Additionally, setting up Uptime.com was very easy, and overall, it's a very impressive tool.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

There is a feature that allows you to test a User login for web pages. However, that tool can be hard to understand and use. I am never fully confident that I am doing it right or that the User login tests are reliable.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com monitors our services and servers, alerting us to downtime and performance issues. The clean, user-friendly interface makes monitoring, setup, and ongoing management easy. I can easily access service status, settings, and historical data.

 ### 9. Straightforward Website Monitoring with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel C. | Staff Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I like that Uptime.com is pretty straightforward to get everything working. The basic HTTP checks are the main ones we use, and it's beneficial for checking our website uptime. I also appreciate having a Terraform provider, which allows us to define everything in Terraform. This integration helps us monitor from all of our other infrastructure to identify if anything is not working.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

We had, a free plan from a different organization, I found that maybe it got stuck in some kinda weird state. We had a lot of bugs where things weren't working. And there were errors being thrown, but they weren't showing up in the website UI, you had to look at the developer tools to see the errors being thrown. Also, the free plan, I think, didn't allow text messages to New Zealand. It was only the US and UK. Again, it didn't actually show that this was a limit, it just didn't send text messages and it took me a while to figure this out.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Uptime.com to check website uptime with basic HTTP checks. It straightforwardly integrates with Terraform and monitors infrastructure, alerting us if anything fails.

 ### 10. Reliable URL Monitoring with Room for Intelligent Insights

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anuvav A. | System Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I use Uptime.com for monitoring URL endpoints, and I find everything is all good and proper with the checks. It also provides monitoring for URL endpoint SSL certificates and platform services for impacted users. I like the way it triggers the active and inactive URLs. I also appreciate their endpoint features. Setting up the URL monitoring wasn't hard; it's pretty much basic.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

They can make URL monitoring more active by giving AI suggestions in the console or UI/UX.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Uptime.com for monitoring URL, SSL certificates, and platform services for impacted users. It ensures everything is working properly with effective active and inactive URL triggering and helpful endpoint features.

 ### 11. Reliable Monitoring with Quick Alerts

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamal D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I like Uptime.com for its speed of the alerts and the reliability of the service, as it hardly ever goes down. It gives us early warnings when things fail, allowing us to be notified ahead of customers and stakeholders, enabling us to address issues quickly. The initial setup was simple enough.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

I suppose it would be nice to have more checks in a perfect world, but honestly, the service does what we need it to do. Uptime.com is limited in the sophistication of some checks; if we had more freedom to build more robust checks we may have stuck with Uptime.com alone.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com checks our service operations, providing early failure warnings and project testing. The alerts' speed and service reliability mean we resolve issues quickly, often before users and stakeholders notice.

**Official Response from Chinedu U:**

> Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback about Uptime.com — we truly appreciate it!

We're pleased to hear that Uptime.com has been meeting your needs and delivering the functionality you're looking for.

Our team would welcome the opportunity to better understand the specific types of checks and functionality that would be most beneficial for your use case.

 ### 12. Uptime, an addition to our IT landscape

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

It is easy to use, friendly UX, you don't need development skills to start using it. Next to that also the versatility, we use it for monitoring but also for 'warning' our customers about upcoming maintenance and disturbances

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

There is only one thing I dislike, but that is quite an important one. If you store keys in a a secret field and you create an API call with that key you can actually see the secret key in the glogging.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We want to be in control and know that our APIs are not working before customers call us. With Uptime we are able to do this. We get alerts directly posted in Teams (which we have on our mobile) so we can respond quickly to issues.

**Official Response from Chinedu U:**

> Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with Uptime.com — we really do appreciate it!

We would like to learn a bit more about the concern you raised regarding secret fields and the visibility of sensitive keys within logging. We understand how important security and data protection are, and we’d like the opportunity to investigate this further.

Our team would appreciate gathering additional details about your setup and the behavior you observed so we can better assist you.

We have a few questions and ask that you please reach out to our support team at support@uptime.com, to allow us to continue looking into this for you.

 ### 13. Uptime is a friendly and usefull service to allow an efficient and quickly deployed monitoring.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Guindolet S. | Head of Software Factory, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

The price is very low, which is a big plus. Deploying scenarios with the script recorder is also very easy, and monitoring scripts is efficient. I also appreciate that there are many options to share dashboards with my workmates. On top of that, the free push app messages for warnings are really helpful.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Some protocols (such as Unix commands) can’t be executed easily. Also, there is no dedicated message or clear notification when an operation is performed in production (for example, an IP change).

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A quick warning in case my system experiences a complete blackout (for example, when the server can’t even send an SOS message before shutting down). It also gives me a clear, end-to-end view of my internet infrastructure and allows a third party to monitor my SLA, with data I can share directly with my client.

 ### 14. Effortlessly Monitor Uptime with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Warren W. | Co-Founder & Chief Intelligence Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I find Uptime.com incredibly easy to sign up and set up, which is great for getting started quickly. I really like the iPhone app as it's good and easy to use. Their customer support is responsive, which is always a plus when issues come up. I appreciate that it's a cost-effective solution, which fits well with my small business needs. Uptime.com provides a scalable solution that makes it easy to add or modify new checks and even pause them on demand. I also like their business model, which allows for a flexible subscription either monthly or as a longer-term solution. Setting it up was super easy, even at a customer site, as I was able to set up a website check immediately.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Some of the messaging and controls could be a bit clearer. I had trouble pausing some of the checks through the browser, which was much easier through the iPhone app. I think it would be useful to have a "Pause" button available from the error email message.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Uptime.com for monitoring website uptime and remote network checks. It helps detect issues on critical pages and confirms internet connectivity, making it reliable for my small business.

 ### 15. Reliable, Easy Integration & Quick Setup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan P. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I use Uptime.com and appreciate its reliability, simplicity, and consistency. The integration with PagerDuty works really well and connects seamlessly with our ticketing system. It's easy for our engineers to configure, allowing us to monitor systems and services of all different types without having to custom program specific extensions. We got everything up and running in about an hour, which was convenient for us.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

You could add greater integration with Autotask, and possibly with tools like ESET, Kaseya, Sentinel from Microsoft, Azure, and so on.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Uptime.com to monitor our customers' web servers and systems. Its integration with PagerDuty and our ticketing system is seamless. It's reliable, easy for our engineers to configure, and lets us monitor various systems without custom programming.

 ### 16. Seamless Monitoring with User-Friendly Interface

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael H. | IT Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I find Uptime.com very easy to use, and I really appreciate the clean and simple design of the site, which makes it easy to navigate and manage network checks. The platform saves time for our IT department by automatically checking the availability and performance of servers and circuits, notifying us of any issues. I also like that I can choose the regions of the world to perform checks from, allowing me to focus on areas where we have customers. The initial setup was straightforward and very easy.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

The feature that lets me test user logins uses a tool that you record login steps. It's a little harder to use and the ability to test the logins does not always seem to be accurate.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com saves us time by automatically monitoring our servers and circuits, notifying us of any issues. It reduces the workload for our IT department by eliminating the need for constant manual checks.

 ### 17. Reliability and Transparency with Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emmanuel D. | Information Technology Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I truly appreciate Uptime.com for its consistent reliability and user-friendly interface. The dashboards are intuitive, and the flexible monitoring options make it easy to keep track of the health of our public-facing services. I find the clear, actionable alerts particularly helpful, as they enable us to respond swiftly to any issues and reduce downtime. The built-in status pages are a great asset for communicating service availability to our partners, which also lessens the need for manual updates. The real-time and performance monitoring features are essential for us, ensuring our services remain smooth and uninterrupted. Additionally, the initial setup was simple and straightforward, allowing us to start monitoring and receiving alerts quickly with minimal effort.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

One aspect that could be enhanced is the support for tracking mobile applications. This includes providing more detailed usage metrics, as well as data on downloads, installations, and geographic distribution.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I rely on Uptime.com to continuously monitor our websites, which helps us quickly identify outages and performance problems. The platform delivers clear alerts, is user-friendly, and increases transparency through its status pages. This has led to fewer support inquiries and better communication with our partners.

 ### 18. Efficient and Economical Monitoring with Uptime.com

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christian C. | Salesforce B2C Tech Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I like that Uptime.com is economically accessible and particularly extensive in terms of available infrastructure (servers). It is essential that checks are done from different countries as well as the same one, and the check can be set with a fairly low time interval that ensures quick detection of anomalies. Recently, we have also set up checks towards internal server-to-server APIs that we were previously unable to monitor. Furthermore, the initial installation of Uptime.com was very simple.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

The RUM part could be more 'powerful'. Check performance at the URL level, general filters for device/country, the ability to view beacons, and temporal comparisons could be improved.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com is the first to detect outages and includes a call system to verify issues. It monitors near-real time in various countries, with short intervals to detect anomalies. We have set up checks on internal APIs that we previously couldn't monitor.

 ### 19. Reliable monitoring with great support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kamila W. | Web Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

 ### 20. Easy Navigation and Quick Onboarding, But Reporting Details Need Work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Braam B. | Ecommerce Operations Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Its easy to navigate. The Integrations does take some learning, but once you are up and running, keeping an eye on the performance and trend does make it easy. The Onboarding was quick and simple!

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Navigating the different reports and histories in more details is not so easy and does cause friction and frustration.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remotely monitoring our site and prevent potential prolonged outages without being alerted without it already being a problem! And it does provide enough intelligence and insights for me to action on

 ### 21. Peace of Mind Monitoring with a Simple Dashboard and Handy App

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Uptime.com gives us peace of mind because we know we’ll be notified about issues as they happen. It’s helped us stay focused on the work at hand instead of constantly checking systems or relying on customer feedback to learn about an outage. The dashboard is straightforward to use, and I especially like the app because it lets me keep an eye on things even when I’m out of the office. Setup was simple and painless, and I haven’t had to go back and redo anything. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the service and plan to keep using Uptime.com for the foreseeable future.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

There isn’t much I dislike overall. That said, being limited to 5-minute check intervals on the starter tier feels unnecessary. I’d much rather see a different limitation to balance the plan, or have shorter intervals offered as an optional add-on I could pay for. As it stands, it comes across as a deliberate push toward the higher tier, which includes far more features than many people would actually need.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have 30+ locations that require constant monitoring to ensure the stability of the service we provide. Uptime.com gives us the clarity we need to spot disruptions as they happen. Before using Uptime.com, we were essentially flying blind and relying on customers to tell us when something was wrong. That approach, made us come across as unprofessional and unreliable, because reports would come in and we’d have no idea there was an issue until then. Now that we’re using Uptime.com, we’re often able to address problems before customers even notice. And if they do call to report an outage, we’re usually already working on it, which helps us get things back up and running faster than we could before.

 ### 23. Fast, Reliable Alerts for Proactive Site Monitoring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jae C. | Sr. Solutions Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Uptime provides fast and reliable alerts when the site is down or when SSL certificates are close to expiring. It allows us to identify critical issues immediately and respond before they impact customers. The monitoring is simple, clear, and effective, making it easy to trust as an early warning system for site availability and infrastructure health.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

At times, when the site recovers and comes back online, the recovery or uptime notification is delayed or not triggered as expected. This can make it unclear whether the issue is fully resolved without manually checking the site, and it would be helpful if recovery alerts were more consistent and timely.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com helps us solve the challenge of monitoring site availability across multiple teams working in different time zones and countries. It ensures that critical alerts reach the right people immediately through SMS and phone calls, regardless of location. This allows our teams to respond quickly to outages or infrastructure issues, reduce downtime, and minimize business impact without relying on manual monitoring or a single region or team.

 ### 25. Essential Tool for Service Monitoring

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas E.

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I like how Uptime.com allows me to know if there's a problem with our services so I can address it before customers notice. Even if a customer calls about an issue, I've already been alerted, so it doesn't come as a surprise. I also think it's a great price for what the service provides. My favorite feature is the ability to test user logins for public sites, which ensures not just that the site is up, but that login requests are properly handled. Using Uptime.com together with our network and systems monitoring system helps me keep an eye on the entire environment. For a small IT team like ours, this tool saves a lot of time and was reportedly very easy to set up.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

The monitor/check interface is not as 'clean' as other services I use, so I would like to see a redesign to make it more modern.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Uptime.com to monitor internet services, allowing me to address issues before customers notice. If customers call, I've already been alerted. It saves our small IT team time by simplifying oversight of our entire environment.

 ### 26. Cost-Effective with Global Monitoring Power

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rajendra Prasad D. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I really like Uptime.com's easy management of configurations, especially via API when we create or delete an application. The availability of global locations is a huge plus, as it ensures we can connect to our application from the customer's location and monitor what they experience, including latency and performance. The error information and reporting are also very helpful for troubleshooting and navigating through issues. Additionally, it's pretty easy and straightforward to set up. We switched from Catchpoint because Uptime.com is cost-effective and provides all the basic checks we need. I'm also pleased with the certification-based authentication feature that was introduced last year.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

I think it would be good if Uptime.com could perform more advanced RUM and network checks. Some things that could enhance its capabilities include network global network diagnostics, BGP monitoring, network path visualization, ISP and backbone vantage points. For RUM, having video playback of user sessions to capture UI interaction and a waterfall view would be useful.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Uptime.com to get immediate alerts, manage incidents, and maintain SLAs. It allows us to monitor globally, reflecting customer experiences. It offers easy config management via API and troubleshooting with error reports.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

I don’t have anything negative to say. Uptime provides exactly the web monitoring solution we were looking for, and it meets our needs well.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime provides real-time notifications whenever there are issues with any webpage. This gives us a head start on resolving problems, instead of noticing them hours or days later and potentially losing leads and traffic.

 ### 28. Highly Reliable and User-Friendly Monitoring Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dinesh M. | Lead Database Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

I really like Uptime.com's clear and easy-to-understand dashboard, which makes my work monitoring databases and critical infrastructure simpler. The monitoring and alerting features are reliable, and the notifications are timely and configurable. I've been using Uptime.com for almost a year now, and I find the platform to be very user-friendly. The notifications I receive through both the web and mobile app are very helpful, which is something I'm really impressed with. We switched from another product called EyeLUT to Uptime.com because it's more user-friendly and cost-effective to the organization. Overall, I would say I'm quite happy with Uptime.com, and I would rate it a 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Nothing to specify

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sriharsha G. | Platform operations engineer -- SRE & Ops, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Uptime.com stands out for its straightforward setup, reliability, and the clear insight it provides into your website or service’s performance. The interface is intuitive, allowing you to easily set up uptime checks, SSL checks, and even comprehensive user-flow transaction monitors without any complicated configuration. Alerting is dependable, with minimal false positives, and it integrates seamlessly with tools like Slack, Teams, PagerDuty, and email or SMS, ensuring you’re promptly notified if issues arise. The dashboards and reports are well-designed and informative, offering performance trends, detailed downtime information, and actionable SLA insights for your team. With both synthetic and real user monitoring, as well as testing from various global locations, Uptime.com offers strong value compared to other monitoring solutions. In summary, it’s a reliable, user-friendly platform that delivers the visibility you need from a monitoring service.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Some common criticisms of Uptime.com focus on its cost, complexity, and usability. Many users find the pricing to be relatively high, particularly when additional checks or advanced features are needed. While the platform is straightforward for basic monitoring tasks, more advanced functions—such as multi-step transaction checks or in-depth API monitoring—can be somewhat complicated and require extra time to set up. Some users have also noted that alert notifications can sometimes be excessive or lack the level of customization they desire. The mobile experience is often seen as less robust than the desktop version. Overall, although the tool is powerful, some users believe it could be more intuitive and adaptable in certain aspects.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com enables me to keep a close watch on my website and service availability by providing continuous, dependable monitoring and instant alerts whenever issues arise. It addresses the challenge of being unaware of downtime or performance declines, offering clear insights through uptime checks, SSL monitoring, and transaction testing. The reporting features and dashboards make it straightforward to analyze trends and monitor SLAs, which supports faster decision-making. In summary, it eliminates uncertainty, saves valuable time, and gives me confidence that problems will be detected early, before they affect users.

The web interface is well put together, easy to navigate, and allows me to create and modify monitoring checks easily. I find the simple and clear navigation helpful, making it easy to see what I have configured with just one click. Although I wasn't involved in the initial setup, I've heard from my team that it was very easy to set up. Overall, I'm pleased with Uptime.com and would rate my likelihood of recommending it at least a 9.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

The ability to test a user logging into a monitored website is a bit confusing when using the required tool/wizard.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Uptime.com to ensure my websites are live and efficient, and it proactively alerts me to issues, eliminating manual checks.

 ### 31. Top-Notch Uptime Monitoring with Great Notifications

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ganesh A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I really value the dashboards in Uptime.com to see the status of our SaaS application. SMS and email notifications are incredibly valuable and useful, as they alert me when the service is down. The initial setup was quite straightforward, which made getting started easy. I also appreciate how Uptime.com is one of the best services to track API endpoints and SaaS applications' uptime. Given the price we pay and the service we receive, Uptime.com has a significant positive impact on our services' availability.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Nothing

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Uptime.com to monitor API endpoints and SaaS application uptime. It lets us see status dashboards and sends valuable SMS and email alerts when services are down. It's one of the best services for tracking uptime.

 ### 32. Reliable monitoring that’s easy to set up and trust

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

What I like best about Uptime.com is how quickly you can get real monitoring up and running without fighting the tool. The checks are reliable and flexible for things like HTTP/S, keyword monitoring, DNS, SSL, and ports. Alerts are easy to route and escalate to the right people, and the status pages look professional while still being simple to customize. On top of that, the reporting is actually useful, with SLA and performance trends that are easy to pull and share, so it’s not just “we got an alert,” it’s “here’s what happened and how we’re doing over time.”

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

A few things I’ve disliked are that some of the more advanced features and reporting can feel a bit buried in the UI at first, and it takes some trial and error to dial in alert noise so you’re not getting pinged for every tiny blip. I’ve also run into cases where the customization on status pages and notifications feels a little limited compared to what you’d expect if you’re trying to match a very specific brand or workflow.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com is solving the core problem of not knowing when something breaks until users complain. It gives us continuous external monitoring of websites and services, catches outages and performance degradation early, and alerts the right people fast so we can respond before it becomes a bigger incident. The benefit for me is fewer surprises, faster troubleshooting with clear incident history and performance trends, and better visibility I can share with stakeholders through reports and status pages, which helps keep both internal teams and customers informed.

 ### 48. Best monitoring tool for small and medium enterprises with 100% visibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Uptime.com provides a highly reliable and comprehensive monitoring platform that is easy to scale across multiple environments and services. The alerting is consistent and timely, the dashboards are intuitive, and the variety of check types allows us to monitor everything from basic HTTP endpoints to complex multi-step transactions. I especially appreciate the clarity of reporting, SLA tracking, and the flexibility to customize alert rules and contact groups. Overall, it has significantly improved our ability to detect incidents early and maintain visibility across our infrastructure.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

While the platform is strong overall, a few areas could be improved. The UI can feel slightly cluttered when managing a large number of monitors, and bulk editing or reorganizing checks sometimes requires more steps than expected. Historical reporting is good but could offer more granular filtering and customization options. Additionally, integrations are solid, but advanced configuration for alert routing or automation could be more intuitive. None of these are blockers, but enhancements here would streamline day-to-day operations even further.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com helps us identify service issues early and reduce customer-impacting downtime. It provides reliable, real-time visibility into the health of our applications, APIs, DNS records, and SSL certificates—areas where failures can be difficult to detect quickly without a unified monitoring platform. The automated alerts and SLA tracking streamline our incident-response process, allowing teams to react faster and with better context. As a result, we maintain higher service availability, resolve issues more efficiently, and proactively address performance or configuration problems before they escalate.

 ### 49. More than I expected

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

We were using a competitor prior to coming to Uptime.com. We needed a few more features and after going through the demos and seeing what was being offered and speaking with the customer support team, I quickly understood the value of Uptime. The flexibility of being able to create and monitor virtually anything and display the status on a self created Status screen is what I value most. Also, being able to creating 1-minute monitors from many different locations within the US to help identity networks issues vs a real problem is an outstanding feature and so easy to implement. Well done Uptime!

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Uptime.com is a serious tool that you must be willing to invest in.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a tool to provide our customers a view into our service availability and help prove our SLA from a third party point of view. We also needed a tool for our internal team to immediately know if a problem is occurring with our service vs some other network reachability problem. Uptime solves both of these issues for us.
