UpTax is an AI-powered tax preparation software platform designed specifically for U.S. CPA firms, accounting firms, EA firms, and professional tax preparers. The platform helps tax professionals streamline and automate time-consuming tax preparation workflows while maintaining human review and professional control over the final return. UpTax uses artificial intelligence to assist with the preparation of individual and business tax returns, including Form 1040, 1120, 1120-S, and 1065. By automating repetitive data-processing and tax-preparation tasks, UpTax can help firms reduce manual work, improve efficiency, and handle more tax returns without proportionally increasing their workload. The platform is designed around the way professional tax firms operate, helping tax preparers organize client information, extract and process relevant tax data, prepare returns, identify potential issues, and support professional review before completion. Rather than replacing tax professionals.
