It supports UPS hardware from vendors like APC, Eaton, and CyberPower through SNMP v1, v2c, v3, and NUT TCP. Upon power loss, the software uses confirmation-based shutdowns to avoid false alarms. Virtual machines can shut down gracefully, suspend to disk, or migrate to healthy hosts, while physical servers receive standard shutdown commands. The Pro edition adds UPS redundancy monitoring, live migration for clusters, and reporting.
