They have a very basic structure in place which allows for ease of learning curve into CMMS. Their reporting tool using Google looker is nice as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about UpKeep? They are constantly updating things (every Friday) and they apparently don't sandbox these very well because every friday something new breaks..... It is super frustrating. Also they view you as a customer and that's all. I spent hours and hours helping them (for free) talk about new features and structures that would imporve the app. When then I ask for their help thye told me that's not what they do. Very frsutrating to have someone come in and tell you to pound sand after all the help I have given them... A pity. We will be moving. Every penny they say they can save you will be lost due to technician frustation, poor rollback on apllication policy, and lost revenue from billing. Manager of Information Systems Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) 3/30/2022 "Mobile app pretty good; otherwise, slow development, poor customer service, and quirky & sloppy UI" 2/5 What do you like best about UpKeep? UpKeep has constructed a respectable mobile app that technicians can use without too much headache or hangup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about UpKeep? It shows that this application has roots as a homebrewed solution by a non-expert founder. They need to migrate away from the database architecture he selected, hire a true UI expert, beef up their development team and/or their development management, increase their product QA acumen, and get better at technical support and account management. There are many portions of the UI, especially as an admin or a requester, that are quirky, don't heed web standards, or work only most of the time. All in all, I feel like I'm overpaying. Despite the shortcomings I list above, UpKeep has helped us organize how Maintenance responds to reactive maintenance requests. But that's mostly because it's better than nothing! On the PM side, I'd say we were doing better with Google Calendar and Trello. I will offer we've been able to bend it for use as an IT ticketing system as well; an underbaked one, but again, better than the nothing we were using before!
