Also commissions are ridiculous. **What problems is UPHOLD solving and how is that benefiting you?** Uphold has actually created some more problems for me now because of the card. ### 2. This Exchange Needs A Lot of Work **Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Joshua J. | Cook, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2022 **What do you like best about UPHOLD?** I like that UPHOLD continued to offer XRP when most other exchanges delisted it and that they don't just offer Cryptocurrency but other types of assets like Universal Gold and Silver to name a few. **What do you dislike about UPHOLD?** I dislike that they charge an initial $9.95 fee for their debit card and another $9.95 for a replacement when most other exchanges give you one for free. Also, I believe their app's interface is overall very confusing and hard to navigate and use. Their previous app interface was a lot more user-friendly and wasn't so overwhelming. **What problems is UPHOLD solving and how is that benefiting you?** Uphold makes it easy to purchase a variety of assets such as cryptocurrency, stable coins and precious metals like Universal Gold and Silver. Uphold also does not charge fees for any deposits, withdrawals or trading. ### 3. Portfolio is straight forward. **What do you dislike about UPHOLD?** Its cumbersome to determine the price for crypto that I bought in the past. **What problems is UPHOLD solving and how is that benefiting you?** Im able to buy and sell crypto from my mobile very easily. ### 4. A banking platform that has very useful features, but that is slow when processing payments. **Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2019 **What do you like best about UPHOLD?** This bank allows you to receive money from anyone around the world who also has a Uphold account, the commissions it asks to carry out transactions are very small, it allows you to receive money in a wide variety of currencies (including cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin) and also allows you to convert this money to the currency of your choice, without asking for exaggerated commissions. **What do you dislike about UPHOLD?** When you want to send or receive a payment, in the vast majority of cases (approximately 90%) the money sent takes up to an hour to be reflected in the beneficiary's account, this is very problematic because, until the money is not reflected in the beneficiary's account, the purchase or sale cannot be completed. This makes the process of paying very tedious. This was the reason why we stopped using Uphold and started using conventional banking, which, although it asks for high fees and has more limitations, is faster to use. **Recommendations to others considering UPHOLD:** You should use this service to carry out transactions that should not be carried out urgently, since it takes you so long to reflect on the beneficiary's account, you could have many problems. **What problems is UPHOLD solving and how is that benefiting you?** At the time Uphold helped me to make transactions with Bitcoin, either receiving fractions of these and changing them to my local currency (US dollars), or paying stores or services with them. However, I had many problems when I needed to make transactions quickly.
