"upGrad has been exceptional"
4.5/5
What do you like best about upGrad?

One of the things I like best about upGrad is its commitment to delivering high-quality education and ensuring industry relevance. The platform collaborates with top universities and industry experts to design and deliver courses that are up-to-date and aligned with the needs of the job market. This ensures that learners acquire knowledge and skills that are directly applicable in their respective fields.

Additionally, upGrad's emphasis on practical learning and real-world case studies is commendable. It not only helps learners grasp theoretical concepts but also equips them with the ability to apply their knowledge to solve practical problems. This practical approach greatly enhances the learning experience and prepares learners for the challenges they may face in their careers.

Furthermore, upGrad's career support services are a standout feature. They go beyond providing education and extend their assistance to help learners in their professional journey. From resume building and interview preparation to job placement assistance, upGrad supports learners in their efforts to secure rewarding employment opportunities. This comprehensive approach instills confidence in learners and increases their chances of success in the job market.

Overall, the combination of high-quality education, industry relevance, practical learning, and career support makes upGrad a standout platform in the online education space. It caters to the holistic development of learners and ensures that they are well-prepared for their chosen career paths. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about upGrad?

While my overall experience with upGrad has been positive, there are a few areas where I believe there is room for improvement.

One aspect that could be enhanced is the flexibility of learning options. Currently, upGrad primarily offers structured courses with fixed timelines and schedules. While this structure can be beneficial for some learners, it may not be suitable for everyone, especially those with busy schedules or other commitments. Introducing more flexible learning options, such as self-paced courses or part-time programs, would be advantageous and allow learners to customize their learning experience to better fit their individual needs.

Another area for improvement is the cost of the courses. While upGrad provides high-quality education and comprehensive support, the pricing of their programs may be a deterrent for some individuals. Expanding the availability of financial aid options or introducing more affordable course packages would make the platform more accessible to a wider range of learners.

Lastly, although upGrad offers a vibrant learning community and encourages interaction among learners through discussion forums and live sessions, there could be further opportunities for collaboration and networking. Facilitating more structured networking events, mentorship programs, or industry-specific communities could enhance the networking aspect and create additional avenues for learners to connect with industry professionals and peers.

It's important to note that these points for improvement are relatively minor compared to the overall positive aspects of upGrad. However, addressing them would further enhance the learning experience and cater to the diverse needs of learners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about upGrad?

Sometimes the mentor who teaches a specific module needs to be a bit more specific also upgrad should really check before uploding the pre recorded lectures as some of the people actually don't know how to teach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about upGrad?

Maximum upgrad courses are paid to you, and their fee is much higher than average college. The app is good, but one negative point - videos are always in landscape mode, but even if you set up your phone on landscape mode, the text contents don't appear in the landscape. What do you like best about upGrad?

Convenience is a significant advantage of using a platform like upGrad. Students can access classes from anywhere at any time. The availability of a comprehensive library covering a wide range of topics, each of which is taught by top-notch faculty committed to imparting knowledge beyond books, as well as industry guides, trends, case studies, and topical challenges, further enhances the effectiveness of uptoGrad's learning platform. As a result, learners not only learn abstract theory but are also capable of applying practical aspects of their domain expertise, increasing their marketability and job aspirations. What do you dislike about upGrad?

The upGrad platform has a significant cost disadvantage when compared to other learning management systems like Coursera or Udemy. They charge far more than most of their rivals but nevertheless provide high-quality content. While communicating via text messages may initially seem advantageous, having meaningful conversations without the presence of other people in person becomes challenging with time. These are the few drawbacks of upGrad in my opinion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing is the relevancy of courses on offer and the tied up universities offering these courses. The job placement is something which further serves as cherry on the top. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about upGrad?

It would be great if we can have a demo class or maybe a guide which helps us choose the best course on offer basis our career requirements. Moreover slightly more discounts for early stage working professionals or college students because cash is a real crunch during such times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about upGrad?

- High Cost: UpGrad programs can be quite expensive, especially if you are not eligible for financial aid. The tuition and fees alone can add up to a lot of money.

- Time Commitment: Most upGrad programs require a significant time commitment, both during the semester and outside of class. This can be difficult for students who already have busy schedules or work full-time jobs.

- Limited Course Options: UpGrad programs typically offer limited course options, which may not meet your specific needs or interests. If you are looking for a more specialized degree program, an upGrad may not be the best option for you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
