As a startup eCommerce company struggling to identify cost-efficient and effective tools to help us grow, I have discovered just how wonderful, useful, and time-saving upContent has proven as a tool for placement within our kitbag. upContent helps businesses provide a fresh & modern approach to the traditional customer interface, enabling us the ability of reaching a broader customer base by providing targeted content of interest from wide-reaching resources which, in turn, helps drive traffic to our website. Having such an easy ability to curate information via news sources and RSS blogs into collected content, organized by targeted interest areas allows us to share fresh information within our newsletters for readers and on our website for customers to read. In terms of customer service, the upContent team has been extremely helpful and FAST when we needed to reach out for help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about UpContent? From our use, we haven't identified an area we would classify as "dislike." We identified a few "Wish List" items, such as the desire for more "Collection" groups than allowed within our subscription classification and the ability for easy newsletter integration included within the terms of our subscription. This integration is done via the collections within your UpContent account. Collections can be associated with specific Amplify topics so that when an article is added to a collection it automatically appears for your team to share via Hootsuite Amplify. Requirements for what articles are added to the collection and what your ambassadors can do with the article in Amplify can be set for each collection specifically. I like how this tool saves time when it comes to sourcing content. We provide internal teams with both branded content and non-branded to share on their networks, with the latter being more difficult and time-consuming to find. There are many bells and whistles and cool features included, and finding out what those are and how to use them can be a bit cumbersome but by no means negative. It's a cliche, but it does what it's meant to do, and it does it well. I guess, if anything, I'd like more news sources but it's not as if it's lacking now. Sometimes maybe it seems there aren't thumbnail images when there should be? When I first saw UpContent I wondered why on earth I'd want to promote other people's content but then I realised the benefits to our users of hand-chosen curated content. Also, I find that sometimes a lot of the results are around a specific, not always relevant topic, but perhaps I just need to spend more time with the filters when creating a topic.
