"Migrating to Unleash for a simple, centralized way to handle Feature Flags"
4/5
What do you like best about Unleash?

Unleash Feature flags mainly caught our attention for benefits like decoupling release&deployment, as well as synchronizing releases between different applications (besides allowing gradual rollouts, etc). We immediately loved the simple yet user-friendly UI, where developers and product managers can see all the features and where they're enabled. Allowing us to classify by "Project" is also very useful as we could mimic our company's internal team structure for ownership.

One thing that surprised me, and I loved, is how the people working in Unleash are very open to feedback. It's easy to reach out to them; they've helped me multiple times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Unleash?

The only thing I can think of, although I wouldn't count it as a downside, rather the natural way of software development, is that Unleash still seems to be a new tool. Therefore, some features may still need some improvement or further documentation. But I wouldn't worry too much about that since you can always reach out to Unleash for support, and they even have an active Slack channel for that purpose. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unleash is great"
5/5
What do you like best about Unleash?

Unleash is easy to work with. As a software developer I think it is a great tool to have in your toolbox. Gradual rollouts and per client feature flags are irreplacable when ad hoc business requirements need to be deployed, especially if you want to minimize the risk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Unleash?

IMO, if you're using unleash a lot it is easy to end up with a cob web of feature flags. I'm not aware of any tools that help to manage that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple way to handle feature flags"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Unleash?

Gives visibility to the whole organization about which features are handled through feature flags, that their status (on vs off).

As a product manager, this makes me more comfortable with the release management for my team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Unleash?

It could become a bit complex when the list of feature flags becomes very long. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless integration and usage"
5/5
What do you like best about Unleash?

Unleash exposes both UI and apis for any action needed in the system, which means I can do things manually as well as have automated tests where I test environments in both states of the toggle. The Ui is straightforward to use. The concept of multiple environments brought in the newer unleash version is excellent since I don't need to run five instances of unleash for 5 of my application environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Unleash?

It doesn't let me create multiple environments in the free version which is understandable since this feature is present only in enterprise but it should at least let me rename the two existing environments to something other than dev and prod Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Small tool for big things!"
5/5
What do you like best about Unleash?

Unleash is a very easy-to-use tool, with a high level of customization that will make your life much easier when working with your APPs. It is easy to integrate into your project and its level of customization allows you to configure various strategies, by IP, by UserId, by environment, and a large number of others, you have everything you need at your fingertips. Thanks to this tool you can parameterize different functionalities and forget about deploying again, activate a switch and you already have one implementation or another enabled. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Unleash?

I have not found anything negative using Unleash, it is a simple, straightforward, and effective tool, it does what you expect it to do just as you want it to. You couldn't ask for more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unleash is the right tool for the job"
5/5
What do you like best about Unleash?

We like that this isn't a jack of all trades--it does exactly what we need, with a clear use case and implementation. Many competitors try to do too much when we just want a clean way to implement feature flags. If you're an engineering org looking at a simple tool to enable feature flagging, Unleash is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Unleash?

We haven't had any issues! Everything just...works? This isn't a tool we want to spend a lot of time in, and when its set up, and when you want to make changes, it's right there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Feature Flagging option for teams that need a cost-effective solution"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Unleash?

My team likes the Open-Source roots of Unleash combined with the additional features and hosting. Honestly, we couldn't really self-host the open source version more cost effectively than the Pro version on unleash, so it is a no brainer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Unleash?

Unleash isn't quite as full featured as competitors like launch darkly, as is expected given the price difference. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
