A good idea in principle, let down by shortcomings. **Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Josh C. | Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2022 **What do you like best about Universe?** Universe makes it easy to create events within their platform, and offers features such as the ability to create 'donation' tickets, and multiple different prices for different instances of an event. **What do you dislike about Universe?** The lack of customizable or controllable integration within your site is a huge letdown. Beyond integrating their widgets or pop-up UI, there isn't a great deal you can do. You can't influence the purchasing flow at all, you can't provide or receive custom information to tie a purchase back to a user account on your site (like how stripe offers). It makes the benefits over alternatives like eventbrite questionable at best. **What problems is Universe solving and how is that benefiting you?** Universe allows me to create events quickly and easily, and start selling tickets almost immediately. It offers a secure and user-friendly checkout and integrates easily with Stripe. ### 2. Started off good. Has gone way downhill. **Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2017 **What do you like best about Universe?** I did like the ticket widget integration into my website, however now they simply offer a link versus a ticket widget or even button integration. **What do you dislike about Universe?** Many features have gone down hill—from ticket integration to customer service to an overall quirky software. I will set the parameters for my ticket sales dates and sometimes, for some reason, they will randomly change-closing the ticketing dates before the set date. I've checked this several times to see if I had just made a mistake about the date I selected, but it changes many times. I'm in the process of switching to to EventGrid. The customer service has gone hill as well.
