It is all contained within the appliance. Once set up on the network, backups and cloud backups were easy to configure. There were a couple of time where a backup did not complete. It was not obvoius why, but UNitrends support was able to connect and fix the issue easily and quickly. UniView shows inaccurate snapshots of spanning/back ups. If there are errors in a days back up, it will show as no errors and vice versa - if there were errors backing up UniView will show you there were none. Sometimes it is accurate but others it is not. The forever incremental backups with deduplication are very good solution for file backups. VM backups also work very well. Jobs are easy to setup. Options for archaving are good as well with options like Wasabis S3 for low cost option. Support is very responsive as well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Pricing can be a bit tricky since it's based on the storage capacity instead of hardware specs so low storage models have fairly weak hardware specs.
