The tool's ability to provide an effective way to analyze transactions, aggregate data, and detect links between people. The most remarkable thing about Unit21 is that it allows a compliance analyst to save considerable time when reviewing alerts, putting its functions of total transaction calculation, identification of specific flagged transactions, analysis of instruments and their possible connections with other users, and other remarkable solutions. In turn, their customer support has been attentive every time we have pointed out a deficiency in their product.
Likewise, although there is a considerable learning curve in the use of the features, once learned the tool becomes more than intuitive for an analyst. I say this because it is a platform that I use every day of my work, for the review of alerts and the preparation of narratives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While it has a detailed documentation center on how to effectively configure the tool, and like other AML Compliance tools, it lacks a training center that would allow users of the platform to more intuitively learn how to use it. This is asserted because, like any transactional analysis tool, there is a very considerable learning curve, and it would save time and effort if there were something of the sort.
