It's straightforward to set up and adjust rules based on our needs, which makes it easy to tailor the system to our program. For example, we can create rules that flag specific transaction behaviors or adjust risk ratings based on certain factors. The flexibility is helpful because we can adapt the system as our processes evolve. Also, the integration process for transaction monitoring has been smooth, and the platform is intuitive to use. It's clear that Unit21 has been designed with compliance teams in mind, and it makes our work more manageable. **What do you dislike about Unit21?** The new AI features are still not able to write up case narratives, which would be a huge time saver **What problems is Unit21 solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before using Unit21, a lot of our compliance processes were manual, especially for transaction monitoring and enhanced due diligence (EDD) reviews. We had to rely on external tools and manually pull data together, which was time-consuming and left room for inconsistencies. For EDD, we're still transitioning our workflows into Unit21, but it's already helping us organize and track cases better. The ability to segment customers and apply specific risk ratings based on their activity or other factors is promising. We're also exploring how to integrate more data into Unit21, like IP information and external blockchain analytics, to further enhance our risk assessments. Overall, Unit21 has helped reduce the manual workload and improve the efficiency of our compliance processes. ### 2. I appreciate that we can test things in the sandbox environment before moving to production, which gives us confidence in how the data will flow and appear. The ability to map fields and customize rules based on our program identifiers and transaction types has been helpful. Their team is responsive when we need clarification or adjustments, and they're open to feedback, which is important to us as we work through new program implementations. **What do you dislike about Unit21?** There are some challenges with Unit21 as it relates to the ability to search or filter by custom fields. Also, when exporting cases or alerts out of the system, there have been some inconsistencies with exported data that we're working through. **What problems is Unit21 solving and how is that benefiting you?** Unit21 allows us to bring in any type of data (transactions, user behavior, account activity, device information, etc.) with an easy integration through API or file upload. Unit21 supports both out-of-box and fully custom, no-code dynamic rules that our team can build without engineering dependency. This allows flexibility with implementing new rule sets quickly. We have the ability to run rules in shadow mode so we can see what alerts would have triggered historically without blocking live flows and refine thresholds around our programs. This means our analysts can spend more time on genuine alerts reducing the number of false positives. The network analysis within the system has proven to be very useful in linking activity across accounts. ### 3. The audit features also allows us to present prior filings in a clean format relatively quickly. It has reduced errors on our SARs and cut down on time to file for our business. **What do you dislike about Unit21?** The interface takes a little awhile getting used to. Interface is very challenging to make use friendly. Although it is good I feel it could be better with less noise or some tweaks. **What problems is Unit21 solving and how is that benefiting you?** Unit21 is now working with FINTRAC in Canada which will allow us to submit STR's through Unit21 instead of the FINTRAC system. This saves our compliance time a lot of time and energy in regards to Canadian cases. Even for a company who does not do a lot of STR filings the fact they integrated us so fast was a life saver. ### 4.
