## About Unilog
Unilog CIMM2 is a powerful, affordable cloud-based B2B eCommerce solution designed specifically for mid-market distributors, manufacturers, and wholesalers. We are the only platform that offers a unified commerce solution, bundling product data and content enrichment services with advanced digital commerce capabilities. Core components of the platform include product information management (PIM), a content management system (CMS), the commerce module, site search configuration, event management, and a mobile app. CIMM2 was designed with the unique demands of the B2B buyer in mind: multiple purchasing roles, quick order pads, flexible payment options, punchout, a sales rep access module, and more. Our customers routinely deploy highly complex catalogs with tens of thousands to millions of SKUs and require tight ERP or POS systems integration to enable customer-specific pricing, customer-defined part numbers, and real-time item availability. Unilog enables distributors, manufacturers, and wholesalers to centrally manage their entire product information catalog, including built-in data quality checks, digital asset management, and the ability to publish product data to other platforms. Embedded event management enables customers to view and register for product demonstrations, training classes, technical certifications, customer appreciation days, and other events – right from the website. Unilog recently unveiled FastTrack, a low-cost offering that helps independent distributors, manufacturers, and specialty hardgoods retailers rapidly deploy a digital catalog and cart – a need highlighted by the 2020 COVID-19 crisis. Unilog is widely recognized by industry analysts and customers alike for its progressive B2B eCommerce features, delightful customer site experience, and awesome product content.

## Unilog Reviews
  ### 1. Switch to the SIMM2 Platform

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Todd O. | Director of Marketing, Wholesale, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2018

**What do you like best about Unilog?**

We are in the middle of the transition. The new platform, straight out of the box, addresses 13 critical improvements that our old legacy site was missing. So far, everything is going well. We have tested the new search engine extensively, and its performance will enable us to discontinue using our third-party search engine.

**What do you dislike about Unilog?**

Things could always move faster with the rollover.

**Recommendations to others considering Unilog:**

Come try our site when we go live at the end of December 2018.

**What problems is Unilog solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The largest is guest checkout, also improved PIMM and improved search. Overall we should have a much lower ROI.

  ### 2. CIMM2 has come a long way, with a long way yet to go

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Building Materials | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2018

**What do you like best about Unilog?**

It's a very robust platform, with lots of features, attributes, and options. The support is good, and when you go live with a site on CIMM2, you do get support with regular follow-up calls.

**What do you dislike about Unilog?**

There have been a lot of issues with our site, and lots of support cases since go-live. Some basic things do not work great or work as expected, including search functionality, page editing, and general product setup. Many things within the platform are not as intuitive as they should be. Many features are missing or need to be set-up by developers rather than just turned on. There are a lot of features we see in CIMM that are not available to us, or do not work the way that they appear they should. We have had numerous issues and have solved many, but it's an ongoing challenge.

**Recommendations to others considering Unilog:**

Hold off go-live until you are 100% comfortable with the site. Test the site/software as soon as possible in the process.

**What problems is Unilog solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CIMM2 did allow us to put a lot more data out on our site, and the site is far superior to our old site.

  ### 3. Bulky with little documentation and slow support

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea T. | Digital Product Specialist, Wholesale, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2017

**What do you like best about Unilog?**

I do think CIMM2 is comprehensive, in the sense that it gives you all the fields you need to manage users, customers, and items on your website. If you were to try and do this on your own you'd need a pretty robust set of in-house tools. If you are managing a site with a small team, this would be a great product as long as you can get documentation to show you what everything is and how to use it.

**What do you dislike about Unilog?**

It's bulky, often slow, and there is so little documentation that knowing how to do something usually involves a phone call to support - which sometimes takes weeks for a follow-up. For example, we had coupons enabled on the website on 7/11/2017, and I was only just given the proper demonstration/documentation to use this feature yesterday on 9/11/2017. We have this same problem almost every time we want to add something on.

**Recommendations to others considering Unilog:**

Make sure you get comprehensives demos during go-live, and write your own documentation for internal users. This will ensure a much smoother transition than we had, and your ability to use all the comprehensive features the product does offer.

**What problems is Unilog solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Product and subset management, and user roles/approvers are the biggest "wins" for us. Besides that, just being a storage for the enriched content, and we are about to implement the indesign catalog creator which will save our graphic designer a great deal of time.

  ### 4. CIMM2 Pros and Cons

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Industrial Automation | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2017

**What do you like best about Unilog?**

I like the way that our site looks and how clear and clean it is. I think that we will eventually get everything done that we want to get done and be extremely happy with the finished product.

**What do you dislike about Unilog?**

I think that some issues we have while working in CIMM2 are not quickly resolved or even quickly looked at. We have cases that have been open for over a month. It is very time consuming and puts our work behind when these issues are not resolved.

**Recommendations to others considering Unilog:**

I think that the product and what you can get out of the software is great. However, the work it takes to get issues fixed within CIMM2 is extremely frustrating and often extremely time consuming. We have cases that have been open for over a month that have not been resolved.

**What problems is Unilog solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are creating a B2B eCommerce site for our customers to use. We have never had this functionality before and really like that our customers are going to be able to have a new avenue to place orders.

  ### 5. Overall it is a good program for managing catalog content online.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua G. | Product Data Team Leader, Wholesale, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2015

**What do you like best about Unilog?**

In the newer version one of my favorite aspects is the ability to manage catalogs at a manufacturer level.

**What do you dislike about Unilog?**

There are still some bugs in the system, the biggest drawback is not being able to exclude updates to individual items.

**Recommendations to others considering Unilog:**

The new version looks pretty good from the perspective of having to learn a new environment. There appears to be improved functionality, without a lot of change to the format.

**What problems is Unilog solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Cimm to manage our online content offering through a web store. It is beneficial because items can be created, categorized, or removed through simple processes.

**Official Response from Brie Wolf:**
