The graphics are clear, and the steps are intuitive in regards to adding time, and viewing receipts and leave balances. As a Program Manager, I also found it very easy to approve leave and track my team's time. I like the current timesheet graphic (see screenshot), and the ability see hours for each day. It would be even better if the hours were color-coded by charge number so that I could easily distinguish chargeable hours from management hours at a glance. Another add to the graphic that I would find useful is "worked hours vs available hours" so that I could plan for the remainder of the month. This would help me if I was trying to reach monthly time goals. That would cause us to have to submit up to six timesheets in a month. Unanet does it by pay period which gaurantees that we only have to submit one per paycheck. This is very helpful and streamlined. **What do you dislike about Unanet GovCon?** Some of the issues stated here may be due to issues from the company side. During implementation many of the workers had to resubmit timecards because the wrong task number was initially used. For a couple workers, task codes for PTO and Holiday were not available and we had to wait to submit the time card the first week. The website itself is difficult to navigate as you must click on timecard then list or dashboard. Recommend making to where if you click on timecard or expense it goes to the dashboard immediately, then if someone wants to go to somehwere else on the sitemap they could simply hover over the top tier. Additionally, I have yet to be able to log on to Unanet GovCon on my mobile app as the mobile app asks for a username and password which GPGov employees do not use to log on to unanet. I have not yet figured out how to do so but I also have not tried very hard. **What problems is Unanet GovCon solving and how is that benefiting you?** Timecard integration. There is a lot of great aspects of Unanet that make it our go to choice because we like the functionality, the data it supplies, and the ease of use. As a small business, we need a cost effective and easy to implement way to plan our resources and be able to see our performance, Unanet gives us this at the right price and the quality is great. **What do you dislike about Unanet GovCon?** Unanet Govcon can really have some quirks that need to be worked out. But there are a lot of resources available for you to get the information and answers that you need. We like the ease of access via the mobile app for timekeeping and expenses as well. We are at the end of implementation so the learn curve is intimidating. There are certain AP features I miss from QuickBooks like editing vendor invoices, paying from vendor invoice screen. easier copy function. Heard that it is good for Project Managers as well because it has allowed more than just primary admins to assign charge codes which Procas lacked. We use it for tracking hours, requesting PTO, and submitting expenses every day. As far as I know, it was easy for our company to implement and integrate with minimal pain for normal users. Have not interfaced with customer support. **What do you dislike about Unanet GovCon?** A little clunky and hard to find certain information, submitted expenses and timesheets, PTO balance, etc if you don't know where to look and how to read it. Also, lots of vulnerabilities starting with the session never expiring. We have a team of highly technical people who can elaborate more on all of the vulnerabilities they have found. It's allowing me to be more efficient and accurate in tracking the time spent working on my projects. I have installed the Unanet app on my taskbar. When I start work on one project, I simply open the app, make a few clicks, minimize the app and go about my work. When I'm finished that particular project and moving on to another, in a few clicks I have successfully logged accurate time for my work and am on to the next account. This is especially helpful when you work multiple projects within or with different project codes for billing. **What do you dislike about Unanet GovCon?** The interface is a little old school and clunky, but overall once you get the hang of it and get into a routine it's a breeze to use. I don't like the fact that if I accidently click the Save button, rather than just minimizing the app and I need to add more time to that day I have to populate a reason why. The PMs enjoy the reporting features, and it has been user friendly. The support teams is extremely helpful too. **What do you dislike about Unanet GovCon?** In many places, once you have assigned something, it's locked forever, ie. expense type mapping. There are just a features missing that would be really helpful, but seem to be coming soon. **What problems is Unanet GovCon solving and how is that benefiting you?** Integrating project management with financials allows true business integration in terms of daily operational decisions and their financial impacts. PMs also need to spend the majority of time managing projects in ways that add value, not learning clunky reporting and softwares. Unanet is resolving that. It's very clear to see a holistic view of your time period and all of the assignments you charged your time to. I also found that the expense report functionality was extremely straight forward and was very intuitive. **What do you dislike about Unanet GovCon?** It's difficult to see how much PTO or Vacation I have used. I would love to see that metric available always. In order to find that info, I have to run a report and manually calculate how much time I have charged to those categories. We switched from Quickbooks to Unanet in 2020 and were able to eliminate 3 other software solutions we were using as well because Unanet incorporated those functions. It is set up to ensure we comply with government contracting requirements, and at the same time allows us to plan our team's time, engage in company financial forecasting, and manage processing of vendor and client invoices. It has many features we haven't even started using yet, and they are continuously rolling out updates and improvements. We purchased their onboarding package which meant we had a dedicated Unanet support person to walk us through the setup and customization of the system and we had a great experience with the person we worked with. **What do you dislike about Unanet GovCon?** The user interfaces are not intuitive, but they ARE consistent across different functions. I wish they had some additional "out-of-the-box" integrations (for example, we have to manually import credit card charges) **What problems is Unanet GovCon solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest problem it has helped us to solve was understanding our indirect cost rates. It is a challenge to find exactly what that role or field may do and to improve, it would be nice to have like a quick help link or something around fields to show what the purpose is. Some fields have this, but not most. For example, when generating an invoice, the from date tells you that it is only to show the date on the invoice and nothing else, which is helpful and would be nice if everything had a quick tip or explanation like that. **What problems is Unanet GovCon solving and how is that benefiting you?** Unanet makes reporting very easy. From simple reports such as AP/AR aging to more complex reports such as project summaries, can all be done very fast and is very clear. Also, the approval process is easy. **What do you dislike about Unanet GovCon?** Not Small Business friendly. The transition to Unanet was an absolute nightmare. The implementation was not easy at all. In fact, it was horrendous. The consultant assigned to us did a very poor job. It took 3 months for us to get a replacement and we had to redo a lot off the initial configuration. As a result, it took us a full year to work out our accounts and properly ailgn historical QuickBooks data to Unanet and get accurate financial reporting. The company was callous towards our concerns. Their attitude, was pretty much to tell us to deal with it. Unanet did not refund any money for the very poor consulant.
