For example if I'm assigning a task to someone the format for Project is [Project Org] + [Project Code] + ([Title]), but in the timesheet it is just [Project Code] + [Title] without parentheses. That makes it difficult when I'm trying to email someone with how to charge their time since they don't align from my view as the assigner to the person as the assignee / timesheet user **What problems is Unanet GovCon solving and how is that benefiting you?** Allowing my company to have a certified accounting system ### 2. Unanet User and IT Admin **Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2025 **What do you like best about Unanet GovCon?** Seems fairly easy to understand and get the hang of for normal users. Heard that it is good for Project Managers as well because it has allowed more than just primary admins to assign charge codes which Procas lacked. We use it for tracking hours, requesting PTO, and submitting expenses every day. As far as I know, it was easy for our company to implement and integrate with minimal pain for normal users. Have not interfaced with customer support. **What do you dislike about Unanet GovCon?** A little clunky and hard to find certain information, submitted expenses and timesheets, PTO balance, etc if you don't know where to look and how to read it. Also, lots of vulnerabilities starting with the session never expiring. We have a team of highly technical people who can elaborate more on all of the vulnerabilities they have found. Unacceptable for a government centered timekeeping software. **What problems is Unanet GovCon solving and how is that benefiting you?** Timesheets, PTO, expenses, etc. Allows me to enter that information in a place where finance can see it clearly. **Official Response from Jacob Borgeson:** > Thanks for taking time to provide feedback. Requires data scraping and Analytics is complicated to work with. Not always sure what module to use. University courses are generic, and not always helpful. If I need help with reports, the support always provides a quote to do the work, instead of help. **What problems is Unanet GovCon solving and how is that benefiting you?** Currently from an FP&A perspective, I've been required to scrape the data from Unanet to Excel to transform because Analytics is complicated to work with. The concept of Analytics is good, however, it's not always practical. I like to automate the reports which Analytics has the capability to do it. But it's trial and error on what modules to use; which takes up so much initial time. There is no help from Unanet support that can benefit users in Analytics. I find it more complex and harder to use than it needs to be, and the interface is nothing short of ugly. **What do you dislike about Unanet GovCon?** I dislike pretty much everything about Unanet. It's ugly, it's complicated, you can't enter your own codes, it's difficult to correct errors, and, for reasons I cannot fathom, the lines are tiny, making it especially easy to misenter your time. It's designed very badly. **Recommendations to others considering Unanet GovCon:** I would recommend companies considering Unanet look into more user friendly and attractive systems of time sheet and/or expense management. **What problems is Unanet GovCon solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use it to do our time sheets at my workplace.
