UMR provides great administrative support and service from the account management team assigned to my plan. Any time I have an unusual claim that requires extra attention or questions answered, UMR is very quick to respond and be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about UMR? Occasionally customer service for members can be challenging. Being routed around to several representatives before reaching the customer service representative who can help with a question on an EOB can be frustrating for members. Occasionally members are frustrated by being routed through several people to get a question answered. I believe UMR charges fair administrative fees to clients. UMR processes claims efficiently for our plan, has great administrative support staff to assist us in administering our plan, offers an app for members, and administrative tools and reports on their website for me to analyze our plan performance. They outsource a lot and when you do not have issues with that they seem to have "special teams" for everything and it is hard to get to certain departments.
