The tab system is intuitive and makes it easy to manage people you supervise, it integrates easily into physical devices with either an app, website, or proprietary devices. The system performs quickly, only sometimes taking longer than normal due to latency. It makes onboarding easy with a few quick settings and in the case of my organization IT is able to automate that process. I do not know about pricing from my position. There is not any integration of AI and I hope it remains that way. **What do you dislike about UKG Ready?** The punch system can be frustrating, but often is my own fault. And the reporting is top notch. Our fiscal year begins on July 1st. In the past, we've always had to run 2 YTD reports and do a cut and paste job to come up with fiscal year data. I love being able to give the Accounting auditor and the 401k auditor login access each year - so that they can pull the data that they need directly from the system. And once the audit is completed, I can deactivate their access. I love that individuals who leave the organization can still have limited access to the system. They can still see their W2s, pay statements and other tax forms. That eliminates those phone calls and emails each January from individuals who no longer work with the organization. The Time & Attendance platform allowed us to finally get our PTO / Accrual process automated. We have also been able to implement a grant allocation process on the T&A platform as well. Two things that we've had to do manually in other systems. And we were finally able to get rid of a 15 tab Excel document by automating our payroll journal entry. That is something I would list 5 times on repeat. Every system we used in the past always promised that they could integrate with NetSuite (our company's Accounting software). UKG not only promised but they delivered. For once our Accounting Department has been happy with HRs selection of a HRIS. We also had a great implementation team. Love the Open Enrollment platform and the Applicant Tracking platform. We added the Learning module to our platform last month. We are currently reviewing Bryte and Document Manager. Hoping to add these features by mid-year 2026. **What do you dislike about UKG Ready?** Area of improvement: The EverythingBenefits area should really be evaluated. The EDI connection process could be easier. The Performance Review platform could be more intuitive. The workflow process required for this process is unreal. Not sure why the development team is not able to add commas to the dollar amounts on the Applicant Tracking platform. It looks very weird to enter a salary range of $150500 - $165900. It would look better with commas. **What problems is UKG Ready solving and how is that benefiting you?** All of the cases that we currently have open are current. ### 16. I love being able to go on there and find solutions for problems that maybe we're having. Anytime I'm trying to figure out something to make it better for our team and I can't figure it out, I go into the community, and I end up finding solutions for the issue. **What do you dislike about UKG Ready?** I think there's a reporting issue. There's great reports that you can run-in UKG Ready, but sometimes, it's all or nothing, and I wish there were more personalization options. While it is complex, once the system is used, it's fairly intuitive to operate effectively. Reporting is robust. Payroll is a snap! Our implementation was very smooth. It was structured and comprehensive and as a result our go live was smooth sailing. But like all platforms, those who are involved in day to day operations must be invested in the process. Ask questions and provide detailed scenarios for your organization in order get the system setup effectively. Frequency of use for me is daily - every day, all day. System is cloud based and stable. Customer support is available during operating hours via chat and by phone. Chat assist is by far the most helpful when looking for a quick tip, solution or a reminder on how to process something. If the chat assist has difficulty in responding, they will immediately create support tickets. You may also submit support tickets with detailed information to expedite solutions. Tickets can be rated by importance. Support response is prompt and professional. **What do you dislike about UKG Ready?** There are a few items that are counterintuitive in their location. Total compensation statement is only available in PDF. I like that you can customize each tab like Main, HR, Payroll so it makes sense in our brains. I think the training and learning aspects are getting better in that you seem to recognize that not all learners do well with written manuals. Some of us do better with visual examples of how to set up or maneuver through the system. I do like that is seems you are constantly trying to innovate and improve instead of being stagnate. **What do you dislike about UKG Ready?** The ATS is rather clunky and not very intuitive or dynamic. The set up to the requisitions is strange and not labeled well. Overall, sometimes support doesn't seem to be experts in what they are talking about or able to give good direction. Also, I was very unhappy with the switch in the dashboard to all white and changing the widgets as well as the logo for community. Of all the things you could be working on, that seems to fall way down on the to-do list. **What problems is UKG Ready solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having a remote workforce that can clock in from the field. Saves time and frustration for that group. Onboarding is simple and flows easily for new hires giving a good first impression and making life easier for HR. They almost never work for me. The reporting in Workforce Ready is very user-friendly. You can tweak a report and not have to jump from screen to screen. Employees are able to see their information and create a dashboard that is custom. Pay statements are easily found and accruals for vacation and sick time is very transparent. to employees. The mobile app is a great tool for employees and managers. Time off can be requested on the app and managers can approve time while at home. **What do you dislike about UKG Ready?** I wish we could pull reports that show a year over year comparison for income. We have several employees that transfer over the year. Transfer files need to be re-build with only some information coming over in a sync file. Most has to be re-built. It would be great if we could just switch EIN's. You also have to re-build the accrual info and previous time off transactions can not be seen in the employee's accrual screen. They have to go to the EIN's separately. **Recommendations to others considering UKG Ready:** There is a lot of information to input when building the system. You must have a team that is fully on board and willing to spend many hours to make the system function correctly. If you don't have cooperation inter-departmentally, the system implementation will be much more difficult. **What problems is UKG Ready solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have solved several issues. Mainly our time off requests and accruals. Before, we were using paper requests and tracking with a system that only allowed 2 users access. We now use Workforce Ready to track FMLA claims. This has been extremely helpful because we are able to put updates and upload documents to each employee's FMLA case. Workforce Ready gave us a solution to our ACA reporting dilemma. Everything would have been done by hand and we would have spent weeks to figure out the 1095 reporting requirements. ### 22. Completing payroll is very efficient, and the system triggers alerts to identify any possible errors prior to moving to the next step. **What do you dislike about UKG Ready?** I don't like that reports may include multiple sides, like Payroll side items and HR side items. Getting those items together would make things much easier. Customer support has also been a huge factor in our happiness. There is too much grey, and it seemed as if some things were not available. I also dislike that there is no mass download/printing of documentation available. **What problems is UKG Ready solving and how is that benefiting you?** Performance Management - we previously utilized Excel, and that was a nightmare with saving and updating versions, revisions of forms, etc. Additionally, UKG is resolving the Professional Development Log (basically continuing credits/sessions that teachers require to complete). In the past, we utilized Excel, and with an abundance of users, the templates we set up would always have issues or the formula would get changed, and the numbers wouldn't add up, etc. Therefore, housing the sessions in UKG and ensuring the addition of the hours in the system allowed for better data and an efficient process for all individuals involved. ### 25. We previously did these by separate spreadsheets so it has drastically reduced the amount of time spent. UKG allows us to store more info about our current employees- forms, incidences, dates (both present and historical), job changes, manager info, compensation breakdown and gives you the ability to solicit specific things and store that too (languages spoken, preferred pronouns, etc) UKG on the payroll side of thing has also been great- we have a unique timekeeping system in that our timekeeping for our staff generates our billing info to our clients (when a staff person does a session, we then bill that client). The system is able to collect all of this (and we have tons of service areas we want to keep separate so we know how much business we've done in each area) and UKG can do all of this. Again, previously we did this manually using excel, then had to import that info into our other payroll system. This is a HUGE timesaver for us. All in all, it has really consolidated our HR and payroll operations, provided better consistency and more accuracy. I use UKG ready all day long in my every day work. Our integration with UKG though complicated, was really comprehensive. You meet with each department separately and work with people who specialize in each area. **What do you dislike about UKG Ready?** Some common sense things aren't there - like more easily identify when an employee is not active. The recruiting side needs to be built out further- right now you can only see the communication you sent, not what you receive back from applicants (their responses come back to you in your regular email) the performance module is still rather klunky- finished review is way too long, the ability to have multiple managers provide feedback isn't really easy to do. Customer support has drastically declined since we started with them. Wish they would improve that - takes way too long to get a response. The online chat used to work, not longer does. **What problems is UKG Ready solving and how is that benefiting you?** More consistency, more accurate. We have file feeds for each of our benefit providers but sometimes we need to make an edit or set up a new vendor.
