"Great experience using UI bakery to create customer solution"
5/5
What do you like best about UI Bakery?

We needed a platform to help a customer recognize their vision for a quoting and order entry system. The goal to have a system that worked internally and then have a basic function portal for their customers to get pricing, place orders and track orders without having to go through traditional channels. The client had mutliple softwares and wanted to use some of our technology. UI Bakery made it easy for us to use a rapid development environment for a common look and UX for the users but integrate software that we had already written running in the background. UI Bakery team is fast in coming out with new features, their customer/tech support is very responsive. We are a small business and our client a small business and a team of 3 (2 developers, 1 tester user) came up up with a full working system in 3 months for the internal and expect to have customer portal working soon. It was real easy to roll out new features and run in parralell with the legacy system to verify we were getting correct results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UI Bakery?

I have no dislikes of UI Bakery, some feedback I get from the developers is they have to learn a few ways to make things work "The UI Bakery" way and there were some concerns about scaling and the code beig used but the UI Bakery team is improving all the time and we haven't met a roadblock that stopped us from doing what we needed to achieve. "App-deployment easy and fast with good support"
5/5
What do you like best about UI Bakery?

The on-prem version is very easy to install on a server and the same goes for its maintenance. Once its set up, building applications is fast, as you just drag 'n drop all the elements you need, configure them, hook up your database in some clicks and write some javascript/python actions to handle your data.

When my company asks me to deploy an internal application, it mostly doesn't take more than 2 days to completely set it up. The most time I spend on UI Bakery is with maintenance of code, fixing bugs and keeping everything in check after updates. And oh boy do you get updates.

The UI Bakery team works fast and brings continiously new features or integrations, which mostly derive from their feedback site, where everyone can suggest their ideas. The same goes for the support team, it helped me numerous times before, fast at that, and will still in the future.

Something doesn't quite work from the implementation of UI Bakery itself? The support operator will directly exchange with the developers and provide constructive feedback.

Overall, a product that is very enjoyable to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UI Bakery?

One thing that is somewhat limiting, is that the python code runs in a closed environment and only has some selected "safe" modules. You still can just run it on a server and exchange the data with the HTTP API, but directly on the app would be faster. BUT, just 1-2 week after asking about the python modules, they emailed me that they'll now add the modules I needed.

Also for some components I wish for more settings and adjustments, which, to be fair, can mostly be customly done and if not they will very likely add it if suggested. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about UI Bakery?

UI Bakery has been a game-changer for our organization. The self-hosted option was exactly what we needed for greater control over our internal tools, and setting it up was a breeze. The implementation process was straightforward, and we were able to get everything up and running quickly without any major hiccups.

One of the highlights of using UI Bakery has been their support team. They are incredibly responsive and knowledgeable, always ready to help us troubleshoot any issues or answer our questions. The level of support we’ve received has made all the difference in our experience with the platform.

Overall, UI Bakery offers a powerful, easy-to-use solution with the flexibility of self-hosting, backed by outstanding support. Highly recommended for teams looking for a robust low-code platform! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about UI Bakery?

While I was using some RAD tools for many years before UI Bakery is for me an environment which alows me to continue with my way of thinking and to use latest technologies including WEB, API-s, ..... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UI Bakery?

For now it is very helpfull. There are some things which could be better and faster (in Android WEB it is pretty slow). While I am pretty new and I still learn and didnn't studdy all the posibilities, it is hard to tell. I miss some smal things (counters on loop, begin and end of table, ...) . Improvements in documentation and tutorials will be very welcome specialy for beginers.

While we are small country our internal market is not big so Enterprise plan is very expensive for our company but we wiil be glad tu use all the fitures (Git, ...) to have posilbilities as big ones. Maybe some plan in between will be usefull? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best low code tool for internal apps"
5/5
What do you like best about UI Bakery?

After a comparison of 3 tools we decided to go with UI Bakery. After a short learning phase of 2-3 weeks we was able to create complex internal apps with database and API access. Today we use more than 5 different solutions and every of them has growing functionalities. The service is excellent and fast, even if the problem not is directly reasonable at UI Bakery's side. It is easy to integrate and the on-prem solution is very useful for security sensible customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
