## Udacity Reviews
  ### 1. Comprehensive Learning Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

I took the Front-End Web Development and the Business Analytics Nanodegree programs.
Navigating Udacity's platform started easy and became more challenging as I progressed through the modules.
I appreciate having access to mentors to help me navigate challenging projects.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

The platform isn't great for mobile devices, so learning on the go isn't realistic without a tablet or laptop.
The project rubric can be formatted better and a bit more visually pleasing.
I wish there were a dark-mode version of their platform since I've worked on projects during the evening hours.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I took their scholarship program, and I am so appreciative of Udacity's offering because I don't know how I would be able to afford to take their Nanodegree programs otherwise.

  ### 2. I learnt many things from udacity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

Mentors support me so much.
I like doing project in udacity

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

I think it is the price of the course, quite expensive.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Knowledge from udacity helps me in my company work

  ### 3. Easy and motivational education

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chloe M. | Certified Trainer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

I really appreciate the simplicity of the videos. The virtual teachers walks through each topic easy and slowly without being too lengthy.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

I would prefer for more videos that discuss more into topics instead of the direct links to the documentation page to learn on our own, there's often times where the documentation doesn't completely help me and I've usually searched for other sources for a better understanding.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has helped me develop a better understanding of front end web development.

  ### 4. Udacity Nanodegree

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elizabeth M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

I have completed 3 programs so far. What I have found most helpful is the practice exercises in Jupyter notebooks. Most of the videos are very helpful and keep you engaged.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

One of the issues that I have experienced with Udacity is broken links. The program will advise you that there is great information that can be found at the links but when you click them, they take you to a link that no longer exists.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have found that the Jupyter notebooks are highly effective in data analysis. I use data analysis every day in my current job and with what I have learned so far I am able to cut down at least 2-4 hours of my workload weekly.

  ### 5. Udacity Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

  ### 6. Udacity has quality content, is engaging and completing a Nanodegree is rewarding

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charles O. | Senior Software Engineer (Backend, APIs, Nodejs, Typescript, Python, AWS), Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

1. The content is usually rich and of high quality
2. The projects are cool, real and reviewed by a human being, following a rubric.
3. The career services (as of the last time I used it) are really great

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

1. The pricing can be high
2. Some Nanodegrees are rumored to have old and outaded content. I dislike their inability to quickly update existing content (e.g for the React, Data Streaming, and Cloud Native Nanodegrees)
3. It really does not make sense that I cannot add my Udacity Nanodegrees to a certification agregator and verifying service like Credly.com. Udacity really needs to fix this right away

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Udacity is helping me upskill to be better fit for opportunities in the current job market

  ### 7. The knowledge from Udacity is very beneficial.

Supportive Mentors:The mentorship offered by Udacity was outstanding. Whenever I had a question or ran into a problem, I could reach out to the mentors for guidance. They were knowledgeable, patient, and quick to respond, which made the learning process smooth and engaging.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

Cost:Some students have reported that Udacity's courses can be quite expensive compared to some other online learning platforms. While they do offer a considerable amount of value, the price point might not be accessible to everyone.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Learning comprehensive skills in distance training.

  ### 9. Very good way to learn something

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

The lesson videos are very clear. And the excerises can help to get knowledge into your brain. The GPT is helpful.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

If I use internet from China without VPN, the speed is very slow.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before learning in Udacity, I had some knowledge about Power BI. But I cannot do reports freely. There's sometimes I meet difficulties. After learning it in Udacity, the lessons covered many of the knowledges, and the difficulties I met before can be solved by myself. And I can make more report with more futures, it is very useful in my work.

I have learned a significant amount of information as well as able to practice new skills. The courses are challenging, yet, the delivery and organization of content really helped to achieve my goals.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

The only down side I encountered was a few times a link did not work or some other random technical issue. Vey minor problems.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am trying to pursue a career in data analytics , data administration or data management.

  ### 11. Review the Udacity platform after I graduate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** loc t. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

The content is very focused on the main skill of each course. The mentor is so helpful whenever I got an error while doing my project.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

I have graduated from many courses and gotten many Nanodegree, I like all the things about Udacity's course. What I dislike is I'm now in VietNam, and I'm not the same as the time zone of the mentor. So, If I submit my assignments at noon, I need to wait until the same evening. After that, my assignments can be reviewed.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need to have more knowledge about technical skills to apply to my current role at my company. That the value Udacity bring to me after I graduated some NanoDegree.

- Well organised short-videos
- Remote development environments
- ChatGPT
- Real people in peer-to-peer review
- Nice offers from time to time

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

Nothing to dislike, but it would be great to have a study group, where multiple users can engage in a course and have a group study. This can be helpful to share knowledge on the subject

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Most e-learning systems lack of ad-hoc helpers. With ChatGPT this is solved!

  ### 14. Excellent course

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Flavio F. | Software Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

Udacity has an incredible team of instructors and the classes are very interactive. Also the proposed labs are very smilar to a real world scenario along with the final project to conclude the course. I highly recommend the investment to enrol in an Udacity formation.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

I think the course was very good. I have nothing to comment about it.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Udacity helps me to keep me updated with my tech skills.

  ### 15. Pleased

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

I like the pace and frequent certifications. It was easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

My college told me that the 5 courses I took were a Data Analyst Nanodegree, but I never actually got a certificate for that nanodegree.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was able to do everything from home and still feel like I was learning thoroughly.

  ### 16. Udacity gives me lots of acknowledgement. I would recommend it to my colleagues.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hong L. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

The materials, references, and projects. The mentors are very friendly. Especially, the reviewers are excellent to review me many times and give me good feedbacks.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

Maybe the video sound is so small and the course is old. I think should add more new training documents.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Udacity helps me enlarge my knowledge. There are many things I am not good at my job, but after joining a course (BA) I find it very useful.

  ### 17. Great, but not perfect.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon D. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

The exercises are on the same pages as the related content. I like that the videos explain the skills and there's written material to supplement the videos. I also enjoy the quizzes, but I think there could be more of them to solidify understanding of concepts.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

Some of the solutions to the practice problems do not follow the directions. There are also some spelling errors in some areas which can cause confusion to new learners

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Learning software development for work. I'm brand new to the material so it can seem a little fast paced at times but it's a really good program over all. I think the material could be a little more gradual though.

  ### 18. Great budget friendly continuing education course

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dallas M. | Product Manager - Senior Curriculum Developor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

I loved Udacity's projects as I felt they really pushed me to experience new educational boundaries that I was unfamiliar with before. I also enjoyed the content within the courses.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

I felt that some of the course instructors were hard to understand, or they didn't use enough visuals when speaking. I learn through doing and seeing and felt that Udacity could've made it more interactive during the learning modules. The small quizzes were helpful, but a lot of the time the answers were not easily found.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Udacity is helping me solve issues related to product management such as the principles of product management and data analysis.

  ### 19. Excellent learning experience, depending on the instructor

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

I love that the modules are interactive, especially for programming since this is vital to learning how to code. I like the video instruction and visuals it provides.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

The downside for me personally was one of the instructors for the Intermediate Python. Everyone learns differently, but however, his style of teaching was not beneficial for me because some of the exercises did not offer a followup discussion on how he came about a solution , it just showed the answer. Also , some terms were introduced early that have not been covered yet which was confusing and the transcript used words that most people probably wouldnt know and would have to lookup. Im sure he knows what he is doing, but for those who are new to programming, I think the material needs to be dumbed down a bit. :)

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The course is helping me learn a new role for my career that I will be interviewing for. I am definately learning the material.

  ### 20. Great Learning Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adebukola A. | Business Development Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

I love the fact that I got to practice the concepts I was learning as I was learning them. It's was indeed a fun learning experience from me. I'm currently on a challenge now and I'm happy with the fact that I able to use the skills learnt to answer questions on the challenge.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

I can't honestly think of a downside at the moment. Everything seem to be on the up and up.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Udacity is bridging a knowledge gap.

I am pivoting into analytics and I knew next to nothing about SQL or Tableau. However after my nanodegree and the project I undertook. I am very confident about those two skills.

  ### 21. Cloud developer nanodegree course

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yusuf I. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

The structure of the course material. The ease of use with clear instructions. The support section consisting of tutors available with quick replies. The project instructions are well defined.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

The on lab portal that has a time limit we have to always keep an eye on and can cause us to lose progress on some of the projects.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The course is great for achieving such a prestigious award in just 4 months. The track of progression and expected completion time for several projects are extremely helpful. The teachers for each section offer great teaching methods/ techniques are effective when watching the content material in a thorough and step-by-step approach.

  ### 22. The best place on earth

**Reviewed by:** Hsin-Wen C. | Brain Research Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

Udacity Nanodegree Program contents are the best. From their very good amount of paper references with structured materials help me extend my learning knowledge to handle real-world problems ( my work).
I especially like to interact with the Udacity team and those project reviews are the very best. I still open and read them from time to time to see how many of them that I can use in my work and how they can be aligned with my dream Self-Driving Engineer career. Enrolling and studying in Udacity is a luxury where can meet lots of classmates globally on this planet share many lifelong true friendships and we encourage each other while we adventure through our life toward our career goals. My mind grows with Udacity and very grateful that if I did things wrong, the Udacity team will find a way to let me have a chance to learn what I did wrong in the past.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

Some of the project's lack of mentors makes it a world-class challenge. Starting from the end of last year sometimes Udacity support starts only been able to reply to my email with the proposal step(clean cache...etc.,) but they are not the answer to solve the problem. I love Udacity's support in the past very much who really cares for students and will calm me down show compassion understand my problem and help me solve it like Sunshine from the sky. I love Udacity for many years this won't change my love for Udacity I know something different from the end of last year and changes require time. I will come back to enroll Nanodegree program in the future when the Ukrain conflict becomes better, I love Udacity lecture materials very much. They are super awesome! Udacity I love you~!

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm from Taiwan and there are a lot of areas I really love that is taught only in Udacity. Through Udacity, I can receive education in the professional field that I dreamed about. ### 28. There is no help at all after you purchase. Its kind a money trap

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mehmet Emre T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

Cool projects, if you lucky got good reviewers.

**What do you dislike about Udacity?**

Especially after the new update, the website and workspace are a mess. There is never a chance to talk with real support; there is an AI chatbot (Seb) which is only there to send emojis and not provide any useful information. They added UdacityGPT, which is incapable of answering questions. They charge money per course per month, but they do not provide support within 72 hours. Nobody cares about you after you pay. I hope people will see this post before purchasing. Also, regarding reviewers, if they are busy, they don't care about you and can even refuse to review your project. For example, if you are near to repaying next month and close to finishing your project, reviewers will use up all the deadline and can make excuses to not check your project. If you ask for help from support, good luck – you have to wait at least 72 hours, which might only result in a response asking you a question in return.

In my capstone project, I shared my repo, code, and blog articles. In this course, I took lessons on coding and GitHub, but not on how to write articles, which makes sense because writing and sharing articles is a personal choice. In my project submission, the reviewer refused to do a review because they believe I shared too much code in the article, which definitely does not make sense. I am not sharing this article as a Udacity employee; this is my personal area and my personal choice. There was no rule in the project rubric stating that I can't share code in my article. The funny part is that, because of this, the reviewer did not do any review for my GitHub repo and code. I am here to learn coding and data science, which should be our primary goal, but this reviewer does not seem to care about this.

For now, I have clearly told the reviewer that it's my choice, and if there are any missing parts, they should address them in the review and provide me with some examples. Also, please help me understand the idea of making a perfect article if my code is not right. Let's say there is a critical mistake in my project; I would have to change the entire article. I don't understand this logic. After I wrote this to the reviewer, they are now purposely making me wait for the review and using up all the time for the deadline, which I have never experienced before at Udacity. This kind of approach is not cool, and their attempt to fool me is making me angry.

**What problems is Udacity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If you looking real time project with experienced reviewers they might be benefiting you.

  ### 29. Great Learning Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nequai T. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Udacity?**

One of the upsides to using Udacity is that it is at your own pace. There are due dates, but you are able to do the assignments at your leisure. I like that I can redo a section or replay a video that I may need more time to comprehend. I also like that the older lessons are still available so that you can go back and review those as well.

I also like the sections and links that were provided to give you extra information and tutorial services. I also liked the feedback from the raters.
