What stands out the most about UDA Construction Online is how much it tries to keep the entire construction workflow in one system instead of making contractor's bounce between separate apps for estimating, scheduling, budgeting, communication, and field reporting Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about UDA ConstructionOnline? While UDA ConstructionOnline has useful project management features, I find the interface can be cumbersome and not always intuitive. Certain tasks require multiple steps to complete, which can slow down workflow. Reporting and document management could be more streamlined, and the mobile experience is not always as efficient as the desktop version. The ease of use and the fact that if I want to get to a certain section, it's only a few clicks to get to the specific section. The fact that there is a customer service chat option immediately available, as well as the ConstructionOnline staff being incredibly responsive to emails is great also. The time it takes to upload and recognize page numbers and labels etc. Also if a plan set has multiple pages with the page numbers in different locations, it doesn't always recognize part of the set and then you have to select each page one by one that you want to check again. I would probably have to say accessibility is great because I have it on my work computer, iPads, and cell phone. No matter where I'm at, I can access the job site, so I always have the answers I need within reach. It's extremely beneficial because when I'm bouncing from job site to job site and getting calls from contractors, I can pull up answers quickly, ensuring that the job doesn't slow down. This access speeds up the work as I can immediately provide answers to the contractors, which is crucial for being successful with home building and remodeling. The biggest issue I have with UDA ConstructionOnline is the constant need to refresh in order to see updates. If you don't manually refresh, you won't see any changes that another user might have made. I've used other software like QuickBooks and Salesforce that provide live updating without needing to hit refresh. In UDA, if I'm logging activities and a coworker makes a change, I won't see it unless I refresh. It's frustrating because after refreshing, I can then see the updates, like new pictures being added. It is very complete, very easy to use, you can find a lot of features for different areas so it makes it very versatile, also, you can have a lot of information in one place, which makes it convenient for businesses that would like to have a more organized system. One downside for me in the estimating part is that, even when is very easy to start an estimate directly in the system, if you delete something by mistake you will not have an undo button, that makes me prefer to work my estimate on an excel and uploaded at the end. I like that UDA ConstructionOnline helps with scheduling, making it easy to create a schedule and keep track of the time for each part of the business. It's beneficial because we know how long tasks will take, if they're overdue, and when they will start. Everybody can access this information without having to send several emails. It keeps the deadlines in check and makes it easy to track if someone or something is behind, allowing us to offer assistance or address delays. It streamlines financial processes like creating purchase orders and invoices, which we can send to customers and contractors quickly and efficiently, making it a fast way to handle payments.
