Using the hypervisor KVM as the underlying virtualization technology, UVMM lets you create, manage and remove virtualized servers and machines from any environment (Microsoft Windows, UCS and other Linux distributions). UVMM is an integrated administrative tool, which you can access via the management system of our server operating and management solution Univention Corporate Server (UCS). It manages all virtualized resources including OpenStack and Amazon EC2-based cloud resources via a a modern and integral web interface. Overview of important functions: Virtualization of Microsoft Windows, UCS and other Linux distros; High degree of flexibility with virtualization technology KVM thanks to standardized virtualization interface Libvirt; Next to local virtualization servers, UVMM also manages cloud computing environments based on OpenStack or Amazon EC2.
