"Easy to use with a responsive team"
5/5
What do you like best about Typo?

Typo has become a go-to for keeping tabs on our engineering performance and making sure everyone’s on the same page. It plugs right into the tools we already use and gives us clear, no-nonsense insights through a dashboard that’s easy to wrap your head around. It’s great for keeping both individual engineers and the whole team accountable and aligned. Their support is a standout too. The team’s super quick to help and we even have a shared Slack channel, so getting answers is a breeze. No tool’s flawless, but Typo’s crew is on it, rolling out updates and tweaking things based on what we need. You can tell they actually care about making it work for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Typo?

Being a fast-moving startup, Typo has the odd bug or glitch now and then, but nothing that’s ever stopped us in our tracks. The team’s so quick to fix things and keep improving that it more than balances out any hiccups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Trial turned into a successful acquisition"
5/5
What do you like best about Typo?

We’ve been using Typo App for nearly two months now, primarily for DORA Metrics and Kanban board analysis to better understand our cycle times. We wanted to ensure that our data-driven approach didn’t burden our engineering team, and Typo has been a great enabler for that.

Previously, we were relying on numerous scripts and Grafana dashboards to pull DORA metrics ourselves, which was time-consuming and required constant updates. Typo changed that in a matter of minutes.

With Typo, we can now easily track and visualize our metrics, and focus on what matters most: helping the team grow and succeed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Typo?

Nothing specific that i can point out at this time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A very helpful and insightful tool to assist in measuring developer productivity"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Typo?

Once you're up and running with data coming is, it's super helpful when looking into developer happiness and effectiveness metrics.

And whilst you can compare to benchmarks, it doesn't feel like the metrics are the goal (very good thing), but a tool to surface information that starts a healthy conversation, rather than being a stick to beat devs with (again, a very good thing) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Typo?

It does take a little getting used to, and to make sure it's effective, you do need to spend the time setting it up properly.

That said, the customer support is exceptionally good (5+ stars) and made the setup process a lot easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The good and the not so good of Typo"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Typo?

Typo provides a thorough review of your code I'm using in Github, it will automatically review your code and give feedbacks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Typo?

Apparently sometimes the feedback lacks context especially against a specific business logic where the logic needs to be like that but typo suggested otherwise Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Typo App: Boosting SDLC Efficiency"
4/5
What do you like best about Typo?

I've been really impressed with Typo. Their customer support is top-notch, always responsive and helpful. They're constantly adding new features, which shows they're committed to improving the platform.

Overall, Typo is a powerful tool that provides valuable insights into our software delivery process. The combination of their excellent customer service, regular feature updates, and insightful data, even with some integration hiccups, makes it a valuable asset for any development team.

Typo also highlights inefficiencies within the connected services themselves. This has been valuable for our team, as it's helped us identify areas where we can improve our overall workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Typo?

While Typo shows a lot of promise, but some features feel a bit rough around the edges. It's understandable for a new app, and I appreciate their swiftness in addressing issues and adding new features. Hopefully, with continued development, the app will become even more polished and user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Optimizing PR Lifecycle with typoapp.io"
4/5
What do you like best about Typo?

Benchmarks on Pull Request and Teams section give us overview of bottlenecks in pickup, review, and merge stages across the squad and on personal level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Typo?

With dozens of available metrics and benchmarks, it isn’t clear which deserve the most attention. Ideally, a customizable dashboard would let each company spotlight and configure the specific metrics and benchmarks that matter most to its own needs.

One thing that looks like not currently supported is pair programming: dashboards consider only single developers way of work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
