"Typing Mind is a breakthrough AI/SaaS platform - it's like your own GPT Store but with full privacy"
5/5
What do you like best about TypingMind?

Typing Mind Custom (which lets you extend it to your team or clients) is a no-code interface that has many valuable features which I've used extensively for internal team members and clients: custom AI characters setup (creating your own plus pre-set characters), customizability of the chat interface (admin control over branding and user components), or the role-based user management system (ability to give different users different levels of access). What I love most about it is that it's multi model (OpenAI, Azure, Claude, Llama, etc), it's private (API based and data is stored on your browser), it includes RAG/knowledge file retrieval, functions/plugins. I use it every day and have extended it to my full team. The founder/developer is very responsive, listens to his community and ships new features with incredible speed. I'm a no-coder and it's easy to use, easy to setup and implement, the customer support is lighting fast and responsive, and it's easy to integrate with a number of closed and opensource models giving maximum flexibility. Privacy was also a key selling point. Couldn't be happier with this product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TypingMind?

I have no negative feedback whatsoever, other than I wish I had discovered it sooner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A better, slicker interface for using ChatGPT"
4/5
What do you like best about TypingMind?

Right now I've used the Standard version, but am considering upgrading to Premium (which is almost double the price but seems worth it). I find TypingMind's UI to be more appealing than the default interface from OpenAI, and the inclusion of the prompt and character feature significantly enhances its functionality compared to previous versions of TypingMind. Plus, the option to browse the web — you can do Internet queries right within the interface without leaving to go to Google, etc. — adds further utility especially for fact checking and fine tuning some of the prompts I use. Other features that improve the standard ChatGPT UI include built-in image reading and image generation with dall-E (it can be a bit slow at times and is priced at 4 cents per image, so despite it's quirks, it's pretty economical). Speaking of speed: Overall, TypingMind demonstrates comparable, if not superior, speed compared to ChatGPT as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TypingMind?

If you use TypingMind, you're still going to need a current OpenAI API Key. And some of the best features are locked behind their premium prices whereas ChatGPT, with a few tweaks to your prompts and scripts, can get CLOSE to TypingMind while being completely free. That being said, the price is totally worth it for the better interface and all the integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It's a Great ChatGPT Wrapper"
4.5/5
What do you like best about TypingMind?

I bought this at the lainch and have been using it ever since. It's updated almost weekly and has every feature that you could want. There are template and personas at your disposal as well as an easier way to organize your files. The selfhosting feature is amazing and easy to implement. It's a great tool to have for a LTD price. Changing the format is no problem at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TypingMind?

Some plug-ins are available but it would be great to have GPTs or some kind of agent available to create. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
