## About Typeface
Typeface is a font manager for macOS that helps pick the perfect type for designs.

## Typeface Reviews
  ### 1. Excellent Font Management Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew P. | Graphic Designer, Graphic Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Typeface?**

I really like the font activation feature, even though it’s fairly common in other similar apps. What stands out for me is being able to keep a set of grouped folders on my Mac organized by font style, and having Typeface dynamically monitor those folders as fonts are added or removed. The integration with Adobe Fonts and Adobe apps—especially the automatic activation of inactive fonts—is a huge time-saver.

**What do you dislike about Typeface?**

Finding specific fonts with particular features can be a bit cumbersome, especially when I’m managing a library of around 10,000 fonts. It takes extra time to narrow things down and locate exactly what I’m looking for.

**What problems is Typeface solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Typeface is great for visually presenting typefaces, and the ability to preview them with custom text really helps me narrow down design-related decisions.

  ### 2. Decent font management for the "common" user and the part-time designer.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lindsey P. | Technology Coordinator, Primary/Secondary Education, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Typeface?**

Typeface is a great font management and organization app. Just the right amount of features for the everyday user and casual designer who uses multiple fonts that are not your standard.

**What do you dislike about Typeface?**

As most apps are going this route, Typeface is no different in that it requires an annual subscription to gain new features. The benefit is that you can still use it, if you lapse on the subscription.

**What problems is Typeface solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Typeface allows me to "see" fonts and organize and tag them for better management.

  ### 3. TypeFace - one of the best font manager

**What do you dislike about Typeface?**

nothing much to dislike only if allows in build font preview system it will make it much better.

**What problems is Typeface solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has made decision-making more simplified which saves a lot more time in font selection and gives more to design thinking.

  ### 4. Well defined fonts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richa G. | Product Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Typeface?**

The tool works offline and we can download as many fonts as we want. It simply allows us to use those in a very effective manner.

**What do you dislike about Typeface?**

Fonts don't appear themselves after we install them which is a bit of trouble. The list should get updated itself.

**What problems is Typeface solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Use fonts that are required on your system by deactivating others fonts very easily.

  ### 5. The best solution for handling large amounts of fonts in mac
