If It does work effectively and and how it should be working, it eliminates on journal entries. EnerGov is supposed to talk to Tyler Munis, but there are issues with how it talks to one another Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Tyler Enterprise Permitting & Licensing? It creates duplicate invoices and double payments, which is quite troubling. There is a lot of manually work to be done to fix these issues, in addition to the speed of the permit processing, which causes alot of concerns with the public. We went live in February 2022, and it should have been tested more in depth and now the unnecessary work is spiraling out of control. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Tyler Enterprise Permitting & Licensing solving and how is that benefiting you? Most of EnerGov staff are fairly new and don't have a great grasp of the system in itself. Support is awful, near impossible to talk with someone compentent. The sales staff routinely over-promise and under-deliver. We have been plagued with issues since deployment over 5 years ago. EnerGov has the best support of any software company I've ever worked with in over 20 years in IT. Their development teams make a concerted effort to understand and implement the best user experience and interface for their diverse customer base. I like the that the Energov software is GIS centric. There is still a lot work that is needed in regards to functionality for our city staff to see the full value of this software.
