**What do you like best about Twitter Analytics?**

With Twitter analytics I like the break down it gives you of all your analytics. From impressions to page views, I also liked the detailed day to day or month to month view you can access as well.

**What do you dislike about Twitter Analytics?**

Nothing really. I enjoyed using Twitter analytics to help drive campaigns I ran for Maginnis Howard on Twitter. It also made it easy to show my boss which campaigns worked and which didn't work.

**What problems is Twitter Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While at Maginnis Howard I used Twitter Analytics to see how certain Twitter campaigns did. It gave me the opportunity to A/B test campaigns, see which ones succeeded and which ones didn't. It gave me the opportunity to compare campaigns and see which ones I could pull things from for future campaigns. 

During the pandemic using Twitter was a big way our firm posted updates. Being able to see how many people we were reaching was key to seeing how many people received our firm's updates.

**What do you like best about Twitter Analytics?**

The best part about Twitter analytics is its real-time dashboard that shows how many impressions plus how much engagement your tweet holds, not only this they automatically compare your current day analytics with analytics one month ago.

Twitter only shows the number in analytics, they can also add user snapshots in it so that admins can also view a user snapshot and get more info about their users.

It is a great marketing tool and I am using it for my companiés account. It helps me with the ideas to boost the tweet.

Using analytics is helpful to determine patterns and data-driven decisions. It also helps determine what type of content performs best.

I don't necessarily dislike anything, but I think you have to combine using it with other real-world tools to get the full benefit.

The biggest thing for me is impressions, because it helps me understand how many people are seeing the post but not fully engaging with it. That allows me to better shape content.

The Twitter Analytics user interface is easy to navigate and therefore easy to quickly glean the data and information that I need.

**What do you dislike about Twitter Analytics?**

What I view as a positive can also be a slight negative. The reporting that Twitter Analytics offers is very high level and does not provide an "advanced analysis" of the account.

**Recommendations to others considering Twitter Analytics:**

The service is free and provides a high-level overview of the performance of your Twitter accounts. If you want in-depth reporting, I would go with a paid service.

**What problems is Twitter Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Twitter Analytics to judge the performance of my government agency's Twitter accounts. I use the data and metrics provided to adjust our content strategy if needed to maximize the performance of our Twitter accounts. One benefit has been the ability to track new followers/unfollowers. If I see a negative trend there, I look at other numbers and make adjustments to see if I can get things going back in a positive direction.

There really isn't much to dislike; the product does what it's supposed to and benefits the company. There isn't much you can ask for.

When we have an event, we can see the event's social media presence and if it is as successful as we would like it. Also, lets up see the amount of free advertising we obtain

You can evaluate your tweet performance if you are using Twitter analytics for your posts evaluation and reach information without any cost. You are able to check your tweets evaluation through Twitter analytics on your android mobile with a Twitter account you can easily predict your account performance if you are using Twitter analytics. You reach and impression tells about popularity of your post.

**What do you dislike about Twitter Analytics?**

It should need to update a brief description for overall analytics of your account that you can evaluate in the best manner. It does not provide the same information that other social evaluation tools provide which makes the user a bit confused. It should also provide the location of people that approaches the post in other ways than their dashboards.

It makes its users predict the reach, impression, and engagement of a single post from a user account. It is linked to your Twitter account users do not face any other subscription or sign up for Twitter analytic. Everyone can use it with a convenience that makes the user happy and satisfied and they enjoy to use. Its evaluation is easy to understand for everyone and everyone predicts posts performance from the Twitter account.

**What do you like best about Twitter Analytics?**

The ability to use the analyitcs tool without having to pay for the tool. Can use whethr it is a business or personal Twitter as well, and it gives you the last 30 days. Eliminates the need for anayltics through another site if you work for non-profit/low marketing budget.

**What do you dislike about Twitter Analytics?**

The anayltics could be a bit more detailed,. Twitter Analytics also does not let you do any reports. It is a free anyaltics tool any many times free anaytlics tools don't have reports, but Facebook ads has reports and it would be helpful if this platform did as well.

**Recommendations to others considering Twitter Analytics:**

It's a good tool. Even if you use other analytics tools, Twitter anayltics is helpful escially because they give impressions as well. It also allows you to go back months, which anayltics tools such as facebook do not (you can only go back 30 days)

**What problems is Twitter Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows me to have free anayltics tool. The other bonus is that you are able to see the impressions that your tweets gave and things such as top followers. In using other anayltics tools such as hootsuite, you are not able to see impressions, only likes, retweets, and comments. This added tool is espeically helpful if you are building the Twitter account from the groun up. This is a time when you are getting less traction with engagement but known how many impressions your tweets are getting can help you gauge your audience, your content, and your reach.

Twitter is one of the major social media channels available with audience from all around the globe. To keep track of your tweets its Impression, engagement and conversion, Twitter Analytics is the best tool available. It allows you to get a deep insight about your tweets with different parameters available as per your requirement. Resonating tweets are highlighted with tweet comparison across entire month.

**What do you dislike about Twitter Analytics?**

The tool has a very simple interface with limited filtering options available. You cannot separate specific region or time frames to track your impressions and engagements. Deep analytics are also unavailable. The tool should also provide the best performing time of the day for a given account. Recent month report is also unavailable which accessing it from the main dash board.

**What problems is Twitter Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The tool is very reliable for low end corporation who doesn’t want to spend extra money on analysis and insights. As the tool is free to use it is available to all users of the platform. The tool doesn’t provides list of best performing tweets over a specific amount of time. Insights are very limited with no deeper analytics report of time and region. The tool does provide month by month comparison of tweets performance.

My favorite feature about Twitter Analytics is how easy the user interface is to read and skim through when trying to make detailed marketing reports for campaigns. Exporting files is so quick and easy and makes a marketing person's life more efficient.

The least helpful aspect of Twitter Analytics is you will have to look at it on the desktop because it's not as easily functional on a responsive device.

I used Twitter Analytics to organically grow a Twitter account for a nonprofit by 50% in one year - from 6000 followers to 9000. The info Twitter Analytics provided about my posts' performance helped me better understand my audience to create more content that mattered to them. It's a detailed dashboard.

Twitter could do a better job filtering out bots, which show up in your activity because bots do engage.

I use it for my school's Twitter feed @GREHCSD.  We are a title one school in Hinds County Mississippi.  A lot of our parents work during the day so we use social media to help keep them informed. 
How accessible the information is... you can access it easily and do not have to be a coder or programmer to understand it.  

Ease of access is so important with any new program. Anyone new to twitter could open this up and understand what information they were trying to share with you.

I feel like some of the retweeted or amplified data isn't always accurate. 

I wish there was a way for twitter analytics to show you the most popular analytic info and then explain why ppl use that particular piece of information.

**What problems is Twitter Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been able to pinpoint the best times to share content and to have it amplified. Before I was sharing at random.

Now I know when to share and what types of posts get more interaction.  For example most posts with only text barely get engaged with.  Pics and text increases engagement.  Short videos with text get the most engagement. So to ensure parents are seeing our posts we try to include videos as much as possible.

There are definitely features that could be explained more on the free version, but it's still useful to see your impact on social media during certain projects or campaigns. It would be worth it to invest in this if that is the goal: to reach many people and learn how to

The free, vague version gives you really nothing. Just a raw number. I think it's not very helpful except for maybe a self esteem boost. But there are obviously options to pay and that's where the money would come in and make the experience better for the user. The full version provides more of a look into the details of interface with viewers, which is good.

The advantage of Twitter analytics is that it is free and available to anyone with a Twitter account. In a way, it is the perfect introduction to the world of analytics for users who do not need to in-depth KPIs.

**What do you dislike about Twitter Analytics?**

The functionalities are pretty bare-bone and will not replace a proper analytics platform. For instance, you can look at your stats on a monthly basis but do not have the ability to get averages for a different timeframe (quarterly, yearly). 
It is also frustrating you can't go any deeper for the metrics provided. The platform shows how many mentions you received but does not provide an easy way to see them.

Twitter Analytics is a good solution for individual users or small businesses who do not want to pay for an analytics solution. It does provide data that is not available otherwise (impressions, profile visits, etc.) that can help assess how successful your Twitter strategy is.

The thing I like best is the summary review you see for each month right away. It gives you basic insights upfront while also with just a few short clicks allows you to get further in the details of your analytics.  That allows me to get a quick snapshot of what our twitter is doing and be able to send this information up the line.  Administrators who don't need the deep dive can appreciate the simple information like follower growth, mentions, impressions, and engagements.

**What do you dislike about Twitter Analytics?**

I dislike when you go into each month's details that it does not offer the full analytics there as well.  What you see on summary is not found in the full analytics.  It would be helpful to see all the statistics when you click on the full month's view. I also dislike the fact that information i get from here is different than what I get from other social media tools we use to get our analytics.  It seems they never added up.

It's a simple, free tool to get immediate analytics from Twitter.

I'm able to solve my monthly analytics reports from Twitter Analytics such as impressions, reach, engagements, follower data and other helpful information like that.  Also if I promoted any tweets, you can find that information as well when you download the excel.  It's great for basic analytics as well as a deep dive if they is what you are looking to do.   I find the benefit to get the analytics straight from the source.

It is a free analytics tool, user friendly and simple to master. You can see your monthly performance right via dashboard or you can dig dipper into the daily statistics. You can see your tweets and replies performance in real-time (just need to refresh the page).

**What do you dislike about Twitter Analytics?**

It would be nice to have more demographics/tech/location data on users engaging with your content (similar to what Google Analytics provides). It also would be nice to separate  organic vs paid engagements as well as have some means of data export.

**Recommendations to others considering Twitter Analytics:**

Twitter Analytics is a very easy tool to use. I highly recommend implementing it for getting metrics on Tweet performance, especially over time. It is a great aid for establishing benchmarks and monitoring your followers experience.

With Twitter Analytics I can instantly see which of my posts were successful and I also can figure out influencers (by seeing comments to which person gave me more interactions). I can see what type of the content is more engaging, which topics, and even what tags attract audience. I am not using Twitter for business right now, but even my personal gal - to get more friends/followers - is on track now thanks to this tool.

Seeing which pieces of content do well, analyzing trends, and being able to sum up reach and engagements from one source.

All browser based with no dedicated desktop app available. Also sometimes metrics are missing or not up to date.

I like that I don’t have to sign into another program to obtain analytics, everything comes from within the Twitter world. Also, unlike many external platforms, Twitter can give me too keywords from my follower base, which is better than what most can provide! Also another plus is that the platform is free.

**What do you dislike about Twitter Analytics?**

I dislike the way the platform is designed. It’s very difficult to navigate and as far as tracking the data from my tweets, I’ve found many external platforms can give me a clearer picture of what’s going on. Facebook / Instagram comparatively give loads more information from within their platform. It also assured that people will not leave their platform to login through a third party provider. As someone that manages many high profile accounts, this is ideal. The less places I have to be logged in, the better for the safety and security for the accounts

I would recommend it if you are wanting a basic overview of analytics, but you will definitely need to use an external analytics platform through a third party if you want an in-depth look at your account’s performance.

Social media is hard to quantify without analytics. By having access to these numbers and data points, I am able to prove to my supervisors how well a project is going in a way they can understand. Tracking engagement any other way is a crapshoot. Also, it’s great info to show to external partners whether I am meeting with someone to show them what our clients have to offer, or am showing them data for a campaign that has already happened / is in process.

The dashboard is very straight forward and easy to use. One thing that is a pain in facebook is the dashboard has a lot of features/toggles. The dashboard is a lot easier to view and manage in Twitter. I think there's something to having a simple dashboard. The other thing is I can see specific trends with hashtags which helps a lot with targeting

**What do you dislike about Twitter Analytics?**

Whats tough is you cant make lists and save targeting criteria. You have to recreate each time so when you have a lot of tags its a pain.

My focus is B2B specifically in healthcare. Twitter analytics help understand what people are stopping to quickly engage with. These rapid tests allow me to focus on where we should place more budget for content creation.

Very easy to use, UI is very user-friendly, good for snapshot data.

Lack of robust functionality. It would be nice if there were more ways to customize data or to dig into the native analytics.

While it's nice to have native data from Twitter, there's a distinct lack to the depth of the data you can extract. Also, the platform has limited functionality, so we'd recommend using it as a complement to other solutions. Doing so will allow you to form a more complete picture.

The platform is good for quick-hit data. Because of the lack of robust functionality, we've found it's best when used to complement other solutions - in our case, Sprout Social.

I appreciate the fact that the data is broken down pretty easily and makes it simple to understand even if someone is not normally accustomed to looking at analytics from a website or social media page. It's pretty user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Twitter Analytics?**

The further back you go in the history of your tweets, the less specific I find the data is. For instance, if you look at impressions from months ago, it doesn't always give a completely accurate assessment of impressions, reach, or engagement on tweets. It's more an average versus hard numbers which I found to be somewhat problematic.

I have shown to our leaders that our Tweets are being seen by individuals from across our industry and it's a worthwhile use of our resources, even if we can't always give it the attention that it probably needs/requires. It's also a great way to respond to people instantly/connect them with the correct department when they are not happy with us.

You can get a lot of great information from the Twitter analytics program. One of the most useful portions is how the program shows you your trends in followers over different time periods, with a lot of great visual graphs to make it easy to understand. Along with a great visual overview of your follower growth, Twitter Analytics also provides some interesting demographics. The most helpful category of demographics we can look at is “Interests” which is split into two sub-categories, “Most unique interests” and “Top interests”.

There are parts of Twitter analytics that I wish made it a little more easy to share and promote what our nonprofit is up to with audience members that might really appreciate the work that we are doing. It's more of a program that really explores the details of how you were performing, rather than specifically helping you perform better.

Since it is built into Twitter, this platform is also super easy to access. I really like that aspect of it. Twitter Analytics is definitely a convenient and useful tool for gathering insights.

This is a user-friendly platform. It takes little-to-no training to learn how to use Twitter Analytics. One can simply go into the platform and easily pull the needed information.

It is extremely helpful for gathering and pulling key metrics needed to report back to the client on Twitter posts and engagement.

While I really do like this platform, it is unfortunate that it does not offer separate engagement analytics for organic versus paid tweets. It would be nice to separate those out when pulling reports.

It would also be nice if this platform could show side-by-side comparisons for months in different years or one month to the next or one year to another. This would make Twitter reporting just a little bit easier.

I suppose another downside would be that it only works for Twitter. It would be nice to have a platform that pulls useful analytics for all the major social media platforms in one place.

We use Twitter Studio and access analytics via Studio. I love the fact that Twitter's analytics are natively integrated into the platform, have extensive details about top tweets per month, top influencers, and detailed statistics about who is talking about you. You get, at your finger-tips, some of the powerful details you'll get in commercial applications.

**What do you dislike about Twitter Analytics?**

The biggest downer with Analytics is searching and drilling down into details. You "get what you get."  For those organizations that require slicing and dicing the data a certain way, Analytics won't do the trick and you'll need to supplement it.  I also wish that we could do comprehensive analytics for a 365 day period. I also wish that we could get details on positive/negative engagements on posts.  That's the major downside of the tool

It's great—in fact superior as a basic package when you use it through Twitter Studio. Be prepared to supplement it with something else when you outgrow its features and stock reports. It becomes clear nearly immediately that once you attempt to view more detailed demographic data that Twitter does not have as much control over who specifically views your content in the same way that Facebook does. Random impressions outside of the targeted demographic are common and often near 10%.

I like that Twitter Analytics allows you to see some big picture analytics at a glance - it makes it easy to look and see what has resonated with your followers each month and over time. It's easy to see what has been successful so that you can duplicate that or present it to management who are looking for success stories.

I dislike that it's much more difficult with Twitter Analytics to dive in deeply to review the numbers. It's nowhere near as robust of a platform as Facebook Analytics is. There isn't a quick and easy way to import the numbers into a spreadsheet to do comparisons. Whereas I don't feel the need to use third party tools to analyze Facebook analytics, I do think that using a third party tool to accompany Twitter Analytics is necessary.

I have been able to use Twitter Analytics alone to tell success stories, monitor how campaigns are performing, and report on how our tweets are resonating with our audience. I wish that it was easier to export data and also have more specified time fields (ie two months ago, three months ago, etc.)

The ability to see more metrics based on each tweet and the ability to improve tweet performances by seeing which ones perform better.
