I like how I can watch all of my favorite video game streamers on any device that I have. I usually start watching a stream on my laptop then switch to my phone. It is very easy to give donations as well as receive them. The click through is very optimized so that people are motivated to donate and support streamers and vice-versa. As a streamer, it is also difficult to get everything set up- especially personal videos. I also feel like they have not been as innovative in their product creation and updates. Recommendations to others considering Twitch: I recommend trying other streaming services like Mixer or XSplit to see what platform has the most of your favorite streamers or is the easiest for you to use. I am able to stream my video games and also watch streamers from any platform so I can watch them at home and at the go. Another benefit that I realized is that Twitch has a partnership with Extra-Life, a program run by the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals where 100% of your donations go to children's hospitals. The quality of the video and audio was stellar. It was a live EP release party for a rap artist. We were able to stream a 27 minute event that incorporated a piece that incorporated edited live action, animated scenes, and pre-recorded audio. The event was streamed without a hitch both on the back end in terms of setup before the event and in overseeing the stream. Twitch has a massive community, and a well organized system of finding the games you'd like to watch, or the channels you'd like to watch. I do dislike how twitch promotes certain games and channels, usually takes up at least half of the screen and makes the website hard to navigate at times, and it really feels as though they are trying to direct traffic in a manipulative manner.
