## Twilio Reviews
  ### 1. Review from Twilio Signal

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

Twilio seems to be one of those kinds of company that is very developer centered. They're definitely the geekiest of the companies I've been to a conventions for.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

One of the things that I'd love to be fixed is the post dial delay issue. We've actually had to create a surprisingly complex set up in order to deal with this instead of simply being able to pass a parameter to start the timing of the call at the ringing state rather than the start of the call, thus avoiding (as best as possible) the post dial delay.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're solving connecting our consumers to our customers via voice and text primarily. We wouldn't have been able to get the kinds of live connections that we've been aiming for with such ease otherwise.

  ### 2. Great service for adding telephony and sms to your product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

Great APIs/libraries and simple integrations makes it a breeze to include voice & sms to your product. Handles good volume and service uptime has been outstanding.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

Pricing can get slightly steeper in some areas of the world, and there are unsupported areas in the world where they haven't quite extended their reach, so you can't buy a local number in the region to lower the cost of sending messages.

**Recommendations to others considering Twilio:**

Twilio is a safe bet, and a big player in the space. There are however others that try to undercut Twilio in terms of pricing, which may be worthwhile consideration. In terms of product integration, Twilio has been one of the most simple, headache-free choices, so would certainly recommend.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it primarily to send SMS notifications to our customers.

  ### 3. Globally scalable communication platform for ISVs serving Enterprise customers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kanwar S. | COO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

Twilio takes care of voice, SMS and call recording for our Enterprise customers so we can focus on building the best Dialing and Coaching platform for Salesforce.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

Would like to see single party call recording as well as a programtic way to offer our customers CNAM

**Recommendations to others considering Twilio:**

Pay for Twilio Premium Support especially if your application serves Enterprise customers

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a reliable and globally scalable comms solution to underpin our Enterprise application. The benefits are that we don't have to worry about building and scaling the comms layer.

  ### 4. Manager or Architecture

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott Y. | Manager of Architecture, Insurance, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

I love to create stuff and spend my time connecting things together in new and cool ways.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

I dislike spending time on things that should be easy than end up taking long periods of time.

**Recommendations to others considering Twilio:**

APIs are their strengths.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We want to engage with our customers in new ways. We currently only utilize voice and email but are not very intelligent around either. Our partners want to text our customers so we are leveraging lookup to help determine which customers have given us landline or cell phone numbers.

  ### 5. Amazing APIs and documentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Javan P. | Software Developer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

Documentation and sample applications provide a great base to start working with the twilio platform.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

I find the console to be a bit cluttered and sometimes difficult to navigate.

**Recommendations to others considering Twilio:**

Attend an event to get a basic understanding of the numerous services offered through Twilio. Signal has helped me better understand and develop use cases with their products.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communications in learning and tracking engagement. With the variety of services covering many ways of communication Twilio has made a "one stop shop" solution for a majority of our needs.

  ### 6. The most easy way to build a call center

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Germán Noé G. | Miembro fundador, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

All the the plugins and also the integration with most populare programming language to use in current CRM or applications. As of now I like what Twilio has been doing with flex.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

The documentation mostly lack for full reference on the code and examples do not cover all the needs on real environments.

**Recommendations to others considering Twilio:**

Twilio is a great tool to build from simple to large contact center and allow to grow your business without much line of codes.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To manage and escalate communications. the easy way to route.

  ### 7. the best developer onboarding experience ever

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jorge C. | Senior Software Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

i was able to go from sign up to sending my first sms within a couple of minutes.. everything was trivial and well documented.. there's a lot of tiny little detail that made the difference.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

its a bit hard to understand the many difference products that Twilio offer.

**Recommendations to others considering Twilio:**

Yes. highly recommended.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

basic Sms sending.. SMS replies via webhook.. haven't explored studio yet, but it looks promising. We want to have different threads to the same customer via the same long code, but it hard to do..

  ### 8. Flex I love you

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam A. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

Flex gives us the ability to create a bad ass app for our customer support teams without having to worry about many of the features that are not specific to our teams work flow. This allows us to focus where it counts and not sweat the small stuff

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

nothing too much yet. It costs money. I dont like spending money :P

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we need a contact center solution that is tailored to the information we need to provider an agent at the time that is right.

  ### 9. Awesome SMS API

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

I love that I can easily send and receive SMS messages, including auto-responders based on specific data points.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

Twilio's control panel is extremely powerful, but with that power brings confusion. The way you set up certain things (such as callback URLs or assigning phone numbers) can be a little confusing when you are managing more than one service in one control panel.

**Recommendations to others considering Twilio:**

Identify your exact and specific needs before you sign on, and then focus on achieving those goals. Twilio has a lot of capabilities and their control panel can be confusing - their services are definitely more technically oriented than user-based in my opinion, so you may benefit from leveraging a tech company's integration services.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We leverage Twilio for multiple purposes. Firstly, our agents (real estate agents) can subscribe to be notified when new leads are assigned to them, or when new unassigned leads are imported into our system from various sources. Secondly, our software automatically allows anyone to send an SMS to our Twilio number with an MLS id number and receive information back about the property without any human intervention (and this process doubles as a lead capture system to capture the sender's phone number, and sometimes their name through Twilio's baked-in addon support).

  ### 10. Wonderful Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tory H. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

I love the abundance of features twilio has to offer, and the stress on making those features easy to use and learn.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

I think twilios doing a great job, i don't have any dislikes at the moment.

**Recommendations to others considering Twilio:**

abundance of features, and ease of use

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customer support. Being able to manage calls and texts in such an easy manner really help with our center. We're excited to try introducing flex into our platform, eliminating some serious overhead and getting a great product out fast.

  ### 11. I use twilio to createe numbers for people for my clients to use.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arleen J. | Parent, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

"I like that you are able to match the number to the client smoothly.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We create numbers for agencies to use fo it helps both ways.

  ### 12. Twilio is taking over the world!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yong L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

Ease of deployment, practically infinite scalability, increasing functionality/features such as PCI compliance and Flex.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

Per use fees for our non-profit customer is higher than I think it should be.

**Recommendations to others considering Twilio:**

Twilio is very easy to leverage for developers. The level of previous experience needed isn't very high, yet for those such as my team who do have many years of telephony experience Twilio gives us tremendous capability for writing powerful applications that can scale.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Contact center use cases involving case management. Messaging apps.

  ### 13. it does exactly what you expect

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

The documentation is very thourough, examples are clear, and it is obvious that they are thinking about the developer expericence in the products that come out.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

The developer portal is confusing. switching between sub accounts is nearly impossible with multiple tabs open and I am frequently having to trade off to just clicking around in menus a ton.

**Recommendations to others considering Twilio:**

read about all of the products to find the one best for you. In many cases there are ways to do something that can be very complex, but there are other was to make it much easier. Products like Studio make that verp apparent.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it primarily for spam filtering, and have been very happy having a programmabile secord voice.

  ### 14. Twilio Showed me the way

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

I loved the Studio part,,you dont need any programing skils and everything is very logical to setup
You can do lots of work inlittle time

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

There are a few products that would need some polishing.. i know they are beta.. or just released.. but if i do need to Dislike something it would be.. that.. i think holding back 1 month would be good to fix a few bugs in new release software

**Recommendations to others considering Twilio:**

Yuo need to try it ASAP so you can understand how easy and benificial this software is or could be to your company

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are trying to figure out the best way for sale agents to keep in contat or build a good relationship with clients.

  ### 15. My company uses Twilio

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deepa C. | Backend Engineer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

I don't know much about how we use it since i'm new to the company but i think thingsare well documented. also the conference is awesome for spreading awareness of the products available and has given me and my colleagues some product ideas for how we can further use it.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

nothing that i can think of but i wouldn't know too much about it yet

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we use it for sms and calling because we have a communication component to our app

  ### 16. Impementing VoIP for our communication platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon L. | Senior Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

The eventing system for VoIP product was really easy to use actually. After fumbling through documentation of course.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

The documentation for VoIP was a little rough. When looking at the rest of the site, I thought docs were great, but then I got to the VoIP bit and was woahful.

**Recommendations to others considering Twilio:**

Great for SMS communication, the Voice documentation will make you struggle for a bit, but once you understand it, it is very easy to implement.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Anonymous calling

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

Twilio's amazing documentation as well as support, makes jumping into their product as a breeze. I first used Twilio as a student at a hackathon and loved how intuitive as well as powerful their tools are.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

It's hard for me to dislike anything about twilio at the moment.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to use Twilio to update our attendees at our local events. Their platform makes it easy for us to reach out to thousands of people.

  ### 18. Twilio ISV User

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

Love voice services. Just starting using studio and it is great tool

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

Nothing so far.. Still farily new to using the prouduct. one thing i can think of is that we were not aware of how much more we can do with Twilio than what we already doing

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currenlty use Twilio for dialing, recording calls, and incoming call routing. Biggest benefit so far is setting up new customers for calling has gotten very easy

  ### 19. A Student Developer Perspective

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wenzel L. | Software Engineering Intern (Fall), Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

Twilio provided a free trial to mess around with the API which I love, just being able to understand the in's and out's of pragmatic messaging.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

The free trial is only a trial, it'd be nice if the trial was a free tier instead of a trial.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I mainly used it in doing a photobooth script that would text back a link of the people's pictures I took. I wasn't able to finish utilizing Twilio.

  ### 20. Bulletproof infrastructure, can handle volume

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

I'm a huge fan of Twilio's SMS infrastructure and APIs. It's refreshing to be able to focus on our application and building what our customers want, and not have to worry about the nuts and bolts of message delivery and regulatory compliance.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

I honestly have no complaints. I would like the per-number sms queue to be deeper than 14,440 messages.

**Recommendations to others considering Twilio:**

Make friends with your account rep. If you are in a non-standard pricing agreement, review your bill for accuracy.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're sending over a hundred thousand SMS messages in long code per day. We have limited developer resources, and we don't have to worry about the network and delivery portion of our business.

  ### 21. Review from App Builder

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

I love how easy it is to use, specially that we can use Javascript and NodeJS to use Twilios API makes it amazing to use. Also, the API are very powerful allow a lot of interactions.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

I don't like the pricing, it seems that when using these APIs at scale pricing can become a significant challenge for small start ups that are locked in a platform while trying to figure out product market fit.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I solve the problem of communicating with customers and keeping in touch with them. Specially allowing them to comunicate peer to peer in our platform which is a mobile app for hiking communities on the internet.

  ### 22. Great tool for your SMS needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

Relatively quick to set up. I also love the Twiml Bins and that we were able to get our MVP out quickly without worrying about writing a web hook.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

I wish there was some way you could send a custom ID or variable with the API call in order to keep track of a conversation.

**Recommendations to others considering Twilio:**

Don't be afraid of focusing on out bound messages first, and setting up Twiml bins as your callback. This allows messages to be made right away without creating a whole system.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to be able to send SMS messages to our users. We were using Google Voice before, but Twilio allows us to integrate with our program and send the messages as such.

  ### 23. Amazing API, docs and testing tools to get your idea off the ground

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

API documentation and testing tools, sample code for each use case in different programming languages is excellent.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

It is sometimes challenging to find exact help from the community or sample code for exactly what you are doing. Often there are general examples, but specific ones can be hard to find.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mass SMS communication as well as 2-way communication via SMS in a scalable, auditable, and integrated way for candidate recruiting.

  ### 24. SMS Service

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

We do like the twilio service, we've been using them for years and looking forward to use more services in the future.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

none i can think at the moment i guess a video like a youtube tutorial would help for first time users but that's about it

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we're using twilio sms just to alert us on server availability and monitoring, we're hoping to use other twilio products in the future

  ### 25. Twilio Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Outsourcing/Offshoring | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

Twilio's flexibility and innovation. Where with most companies you are searching for a solution to a problem, twilio not only provides solutions to many problems within our call center but also provides inspiration for new services and products we can offer our customers.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

Twilio's pricing can sometimes be prohibitive to implementing new services and products as the benefit doesn't always outweigh the cost.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the beginning we were solving outgoing communication issues for our customers by providing customer notification robo calls. As we moved in to the inbound call taking business, Twilio has allowed us to offer customizations to our clients that no other companies can offer.

  ### 26. Switched recently

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2019

It provided sms messaging for our platform.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

We ended up switching to Plivo due to cost.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were utilizing Twilio for our SMS messaging. Easy to use.

  ### 27. Overall I love Twilio

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** john r. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

So we use Twili0 SIP trunking, which is very easy and we haven't had any problems. Prices are good. I want to use other Twilio products but lack of HIPAA compliance makes it hard as I work in healthcare IT

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

We have had real problems with our account manager. Response would be a 10 if we had a decent account team.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SIP trunking mostly, right now.

  ### 28. Overall good

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael Brøbech M. | Senior Developer, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

Getting up and running is fast, lots of features

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

Debugging using the twilio console website is not that good. I need a way of gtetting the big picture including all call SIDs. Also please give me a exact date&/time when looking into debugger events.

**Recommendations to others considering Twilio:**

Rewrite console and implement communication log where it is visible what is received and what is sent in sequence.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customer call center

  ### 29. Twilio review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

Been a customer for roughly 4 years and it has been a great experience to use their sip products. It has been great to see them grow and everyone we have worked with or interacted with is a great person with great personality.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

The biggest thing would be around certain changes to the interface that moves items around or renames them without notice to the admin users for finding those landing pages. Also lack of ease of changing cps on the sip infrastructure side

**Recommendations to others considering Twilio:**

don't be afraid to jump in. use the documentation and your account team for help.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SIP infastruture, sms purchasing

  ### 30. amazing service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

buying numbers in an instant. I feel like twilio is paving the way of call center tech instead of catching up to it.
I love the ease of API and the support docs
I am a huge fan of twilio quest. I used it to get a sweet prize and I learn from it all the time

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

I feel like the account domain and subdomain system is a bit confusing.

**Recommendations to others considering Twilio:**

Just do it and invest in your workers. I would get your whole team to do twilio quest and go to the conferences.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

buying international numbers, it's easy
sms texting integration with APIS

  ### 31. Great product to use for all telco needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

Its developer centric and does the best job of all platforms that i know to bring forward a great experience. Great documentation, good reference code and well fleshed out implementations make it super easy to get started and scale on Twilio.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

The documentation could be better to do to provide a high level building block for architects and solution folk. Sometimes folks are not sure about what to do / build and with a platform so extensible it can get confusing

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Compliant texting and messaging and also bots are easy solved along with calling. The benefits are reliability, interoperability and good scale.

  ### 32. Twilio's commitment to social good

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaron C. | Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

Twilio has consistently led tech companies in investing in the social causes of our day by highlighting technical applications and the activists working on them.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

I only dislike that others are not following their lead fast enough.

**Recommendations to others considering Twilio:**

Take a full tour of everything that twilio has to offer before eliminating anything.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are working to connect non profits with their donors, members and constituents.

  ### 33. Easiest path to programmatic communication

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

Twilio's APIs allow you to build almost anything imaginable with text messaging, voice, video/web chat, and more.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

There is a bit of a learning curve. Some things have been slow to come to the platform or have not been improved (TTS and voice recognition for example), however this is changing rapidly.

**Recommendations to others considering Twilio:**

Make use of the documentation and examples provided by Twilio. Look for Twilio and 3rd party client libraries.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We power all of our voice and text communications using Twilio. It has allowed us to build a remote, distributed call center, improve our customer experience, all at a very low cost.

  ### 34. Integrated Twilio Voice and sms with Saleasforce

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yuvraj K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

Twilio Integration are very east to use.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

We still face some isssues with twilio Voice calls. Out of 100 calls in a day we have issues voice issues with at least 10

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our Selling does not have to use personal phone to make the calls, they can use Twilio Salesforce dialer
All the calls are logged and it helps to study the caller's performance

  ### 35. Twilio Solution Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

Ease of sign-up, ease of use, good documentation, works consistently

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

Nothing stands out at this moment. I think the challenge Twilio will face is launching a solution instead of just a set of APIs. There are many more challenges in supporting a product that will involve business questions, not just technology. You need to have team members who are very knowledgeable about the call center business and can advise clients on best practices. Partners can assist you with this.

**Recommendations to others considering Twilio:**

Keep supporting the partner community.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communicate with clients via SMS. Improve communications with customers in a contact center environment.

  ### 36. We use Twilio to improve health care for the underserved.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

I really love all the different apis that Twilio makes available. It's awesome because we can try new things without investing tons of engineering resources to try them out.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

My experience with customer support is sometimes difficult. It's hard to get carrier related issues resolved, which I understand since twilio doesn't have ownership of those things, but often we aren't provided with lots of options.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are helping connect health care providers to patients via text messages. We have made use of the different language voice options and have explored using some of the watson artificial intelligence add ons.

  ### 37. Adding voice. messaging to applications is dead simple. just dial in Twilio

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

Twilio makes it really easy to add voice and messaging to applications to make the interactions richer and relevant. There is hardly any upfront costs and the code cookbooks make it easy to get started.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

The free tier pricing is good for getting started. However, some more sophisticated features require a paid account

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Twilio enabled us to engage with users of our enterprise application in a richer, more relevant and timely fashion. We used Twilio to provide alerts to users on their application status, do voice signature for authorization and conduct short surveys. It enabled us to get better/ quicker response from the users and complete the business process faster.

  ### 38. Programmable wireless is AWESOME

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan S. | Product Manager, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

Support team and dedicated twilio engineers to help us

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

Alpha/Beta stuff changes a lot, might just be internal miss communication however that we were actually using a super early beta product. I love shipping fast and often and early

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Global Connectivity for enterprise devices. Self service and APIs are super helpful, dealing with tmobile directly is a pain in the ASS

  ### 39. Definitely our best vendor

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steff K. | VP Of Engineering, Legal Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

Gives us access to product betas. Hits SLAs. Fast response time on questions.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

We're 100% dependent on Twilio. If you went down, we go down.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We do online Notarizations where state laws require the notarization meeting be an A/V call with the signer(s) and the notary. So we use Video Rooms.
You passed our security assurances. And it works well.

  ### 40. Twilio works.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

I like twilios reliability and clear documentation. We build communication products with Twilio and they just WORK. Which is a wonderful thing that should not be taken for granted.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

Our CFO has consistent issues with the clarity of Twilios billing. Which in turn becomes my problem to help navigate. An updated billing product with a strong focus on clarity and explanation -- Verizon's bills are an excellent example -- would be nice.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Real-time alert and status updates of orders via SMS. We also use the proxy calling feature which has been an incredible plug-and-play masked communication solution.

  ### 41. Great Flexability

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

The thing I like best about using Twilio is how flexible it is. There are an infinite amount of use cases and so many diverse products can be built.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

Sometimes the APIs have a lack of conitinuity in how they are documented. For example a set of parameters might be listed as uppercase in one instance but as lowercase in another, but how they are presented doesn't necessarily indicate how they should be used in code.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A more unified call center experience that allows supervisors and managers more control over the agents and the data produced.

  ### 42. Your experience as a customer improves as you build a relationship with the Twilio team

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

Honest communication from the Twilio team. Twilio didn't process our shortcode application but charged us all the fee for 4+ months. When we uncovered the issue, the Twilio team owned up to the mistake and acted quickly to resolve the issue. We appreciate the honesty and their attitude made us trust them more.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

Unclear progress on the short code provisioning process in the Twilio dashboard.
Complex and not intuitive dashboard that is almost impossible to understand without any training.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SMS for the time being but would like to consider push notifications as well in the future.

  ### 43. TapOnIt Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

I like the variety of tools that we have available to send MMS/SMS messages to our subscribers.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

The support ticket system could be designed a bit differently. We get immediate response when chatting, but submitting a support ticket takes hours for a response, even if you mark it as system down.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We send sms and mms messages containing offers to our subscribers. Using the lookup tool (and now the whitepages tool that I learned about at SIGNAL) we are able to determine the phone carrier and send sms to phones/carriers that are not MMS capable.

  ### 44. Amazing array of services w/ well-built APIs and excellent documentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Semiconductors | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

I've been really impressed with how well designed the APIs are, and the qualify of the documentation and examples. I'm also very excited about IoT, and the Sync platform, narrowband IoT, customizable rate plans, etc. are very compelling.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

Honestly, nothing so far. It's very impressive.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SIM activation and device provisioning. I work on Nordic Semiconductor's IoT platform and this is one of the biggest challenges we are trying to solve. To be clear, we are still exploring the use of Twilio, having just started working on this challenge. So it's very early stage for us.

  ### 45. Great Flexibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

As a company we love how flexible and customizable twilio is. The ability to provision and deploy numbers at scale is great.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

I wish there was more functionality prebuild for dynamic number replacement.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are working twards transitioning all our communication touch points to twilio. Ultimately we want to use flex to run our call center communication.

  ### 46. Scaling a callcenter with Twilio

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan Andres L. | Senior Software Engineer, Internet, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

The scalabilty and high availability is the best of Twilio

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

I think that sometimes there is a delay between calls in different countries

**Recommendations to others considering Twilio:**

Twilio is easy to integrate with crm. I highly recommend Twilio

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have 3 callcenters so we use programmable voice. The main benefit is an increase in NPS due to implementation of ClickToCall

  ### 47. Simple and Impactful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clinton J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

The amazing documentation provided. It allowed me to undertstand TwiML, build a product and go to production amidst an already busy development schedule.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

The vastness of services become ambiguous and difficult to understand at times.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automated messaging for clients that allows them to work on their products and spend less time hunting down clients to update.

  ### 48. Super feature rich Twilio Flex

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

I love how robust the features are in Twilio. Every communications format is available, from SMS to Video to Chat, Voice and Fax. Allows for effective managing of campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

Maybe too technical in its design and setup. While being feature rich is nice, being able to easily customize those features can be confusing and lengthy of a process.

**Recommendations to others considering Twilio:**

Definitely try it out, and make sure to contact support with any questions about how to set up certain campaigns. The free trial gives you more than enough of an opportunity to evaluate and I think that it offers more than enough features to satisfy any team.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To have all of our communication campaigns accessible in one place and not need separate clients/platforms to run SMS campaigns.

  ### 49. Friendliest API to start using for any project

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

Best documentation and support from any company I've worked with, actively work to support student developers and help build connections!

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

Some of their "help" buttons don't give any more information, so have to resort to google or stackoverflow for answers on deeper specifics

**Recommendations to others considering Twilio:**

Pick a project from their examples and build it from the ground up again, then slowly change it into what best fits your and your company's needs

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Twilio to send monthly payment confirmations to our users, if they say yes, we charge them, making our chargebacks zero.

  ### 50. Twilio Programmable SMS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Twilio?**

What I like the best about Twilio is how friendly it is to developers. I worked on a project using Twilio over the summer. It was my first time using Twilio and C#, and fortunately Twilio offers tutorials that are very helpful and easy to follow, which made it possible for me to learn the API fast. Please keep it up!

**What do you dislike about Twilio?**

Some tutorials don't compile due to syntax errors so it would be great if Twilio verify it before releasing the tutorials.

**What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficient communication made possible by programmable API
