The best thing about Twilio is that it is straightforward to implement. Twilio SDKs are easy to use, and you can integrate it into your product for SMS or Email service within minutes. Twilio gives a phone number SDKs, so you can use that service in your form if you have a phone number field with country codes, and you can even show the country flag in that field which is precisely i was looking for. Twilio is the best API provider for Text(SMS), Voice and Video calls. Twilio also provides APIs for the WhatsApp. But for that, we have to create our account on Meta. The only thing I dislike about Twilio is its high costs. I like how complete it is and all the API possibilities. You can achieve so much if you know what you're doing. You can create a call center and monitor everything, including recordings. This has proven particularly valuable when we need to distribute automated marketing content to a large volume of recipients simultaneously. In such cases, Twilio can detect most instances of undelivered messages and automatically resend them, reducing the need for manual intervention from our team. What do you dislike about Twilio? Twilio currently provides measurable data metrics for technical activities such as tracking the success and failure rates of SMS delivery, as well as identifying redundant contact numbers on messaging lists. However, when it comes to marketing-related data, Twilio's capabilities are limited. For instance, Twilio is not able to provide sufficient measurable information on how quickly sales contacts respond to automated marketing messages on integrated messaging platforms like Whatsapp and Telegram. At my workplace, we're utilizing the Twilio to establish stronger connections with sales prospects and customers by delivering high-quality marketing messages via SMS (short messaging service). As a developer I wanted to explore Twilio's API. I was very excited about the possibilities, but I had no specific project in mind.After paying 20$ and upgrading my account, they suspended it, asking me all kinds of backward questions like what is my business, requiring me to send them emails from the server where my application is.After trying to answer their questions they replied:"After careful review, we will not be able to approve your account and unable to provide details regarding decisions made in the account review process. We apologize for any inconvenience caused." I understand that they are trying to protect themselves from spammers but I did not abuse the service.
