"SendGrid Review"
5/5
What do you like best about Twilio SendGrid Email API?

SendGrid is such a brilliant idea. With SendGrid, we were able to check if emails had been sent to the recipient and if they were able to receive and check it. We were able to see if they had read it or not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Worst service I've ever signed up for"
0/5
What do you like best about Twilio SendGrid Email API?

It had nice user interfaces, and if they worked it would have been great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Twilio SendGrid Email API?

Overpriced and disfunctional. Not worth your time at all. Avoid at all costs.

Unless you pay $80/month for a single dedicated ip address (what a rip off right?) their e-mails will bounce and never get to destination due to spamhaus black listing, and there is absolutely no way to remedy. Totally unreliable dis-service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quite a good Email sending Platform"
4/5
What do you like best about Twilio SendGrid Email API?

Normal email sending is good

they provide very good Email PAI service, and also all the shared IPs they provide are in good reputation.

I cross-checked the IP reputation of shared IPs, and still, they are very good.

Support is good Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Twilio SendGrid Email API?

There are few negatives in automation.

They are add some automation features like in Mailchimp. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Web API Integration with Perfect Statistics"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Twilio SendGrid Email API?

It is straightforward to integrate using the API key. A dashboard to track opens, clicks, deliverability metrics, geographical data, unsubscribes, and bounce is excellent. Their unsubscribe group feature is their USB. We can easily add multiple sending domains on one account without limitations, which other ESP usually have; even domain authentication using SPF and DKIM is hassle-free using our domain cpanel. They even have an email id verification feature so that we can minimize our email bounce rate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Twilio SendGrid Email API?

Pricing is a little costly even for bulk emails, but being a premium product with best-in-the-industry deliverability, it justifies its pricing somewhat. To check the email send activity of a particular user, only the last seven days' data is available; to extent the limit, we need to pay more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I used Email API for more than 3 years for my client, he is also currently using it, still it is working perfectly. I didn't found any dislike yet, in case of issues their support is always available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Multiple Issues When Upgrading Account"
1.5/5
What do you like best about Twilio SendGrid Email API?

SendGrid's user interface is well-designed and easy to understand. However, the functionality available leaves a lot to be desired. Generally, the support staff seems knowledgeable but have given me many wrong answers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Twilio SendGrid Email API?

We've been attempting to upgrade from a small volume plan with a shared IP pool to a large plan. We were told we could keep a shared pool but were later told after we signed an annual agreement that we'd been given the wrong information and would have to move to a Dedicated IP (we use the API plan not Marketing Campaigns). There was no guide on how to move from one plan to the other, and in reality it became a nightmare. What should have been automated by their system and their touted 'Automatic IP Warmup' in under 2 weeks, became a 6-9 week project and an additional sprint for my engineering team. We've been forced to manually warm our IP and change our software to regulate our send volume as their warming process does not work. I've spent almost 6 hours on chat sessions trying to troubleshoot issues with this product and have no dedicated rep to help me and have to speak to someone new every time.

Because we are under a time-crunch as our old ESP gets sunset (Dyn by Oracle) and we've already done the API implementation, we're forced to stay on this system. But if I had a choice, we would not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
