## TVEyes Reviews
  ### 1. TVEyes has worked well for our team workflow.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2021

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I really appreciate how easy it is to edit our company’s video content. There have been times when a school district supervisor has requested a copy of a news segment within an hour of it airing on TV. With TVEyes, I can quickly log in, run a PowerSearch, and share the video right away. This saves me a lot of time because I don’t have to wait for the reporter or broadcast team to upload the story to their website or social media. I use this several times a week, depending on if we have pitched any stories to the media. I have always been able to get answers to my customer support with my email forwarded to the correct person. I have integrated TV Eyes with our current Google Drive system. I just wish we could send files from TVEyes to Google Drive directly. So far, the ease of implementation has been easy to share with our current team members.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I recommend providing a monthly report of all the media mentions for the month, as well as how much airtime in minutes and seconds, and what airtime would have cost if we had purchased advertising with the news station. Also, I do not like that you can not edit two clips together in the editing suite. Sometimes they tease the story before the commercial break, and it would be nice to add that to the overall clip I save and share with our School Board. I would also like the Spanish station's Match Term to be more accurate. We get a lot of media coverage from our Spanish media partner and I usually have to search manually through their show to find our content. It would also be great if there was a way to be able to save the files directly to my Google Drive. Currently we have to request a downloadable file and then download it to our computer and then transfer it to our Google Drive.

**Recommendations to others considering TVEyes:**

I would say that TVEyes is easy to use. It has shaved a lot of time when gathering media coverage for my organization.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes eliminates the need to wait and hope that reporters or broadcast teams upload the specific stories we’re featured in. Since TV stations don’t post every segment, it was important for our school district to have a reliable service that archives our coverage and makes it easy to share with our board and stakeholders. Thanks to TVEyes, I’ve been able to provide timely content and have received positive feedback from my supervisors as a result.

  ### 2. TVEyes - AFSCME Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I am brand new to Insight, so take the review with a grain of salt, but I appreciate how much easier the platform is to navigate and how great it looks! It's always easy to capture footage from past events we are featured in and I am excited to use the Podcast and YouTube search tools. Not to mention Alex / the support team is very responsive and great to work with.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Sadly I don't love not being able to pull clips from FOX but I understand why!

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to quickly and effectively monitor coverage for our organization and pull clips for social media and recap use.

  ### 3. Helpful product, lacking features

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Safety | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I am grateful there is a product that easily pulls each broadcast media mention of our Agency. It is extremely useful and is a great way to show the value of the work done to promote our Agency's work.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I cannot set up timing for the results other than 8 a.m. - if there is a way, I haven't found it. I would like reports sent at separate times for separate results, but the only functionality allowed is sending all the reports at the exact same time. I also cannot export media mentions into an Excel spreadsheet for easy review and distribution to my Command staff.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I am the sole public relations and social media manager for the Agency, I cannot watch every news station all day each day to catch our coverage. This helps catch coverage of our Agency and allow me to log it or ask for corrections.

  ### 4. Extremely helpful metric support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

For the most part, TVEyes is super easy to use. It is user-friendly and accurate. I find that the more detailed you can get in a search, the better the results. I love the ease in pulling and sharing clips and all of the data available. It has been a game changer when proving the importance of PR for clients. The customer support has been incredible any time I need someone to help with a project or clip. I use it almost every day to monitor the media.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Sometimes TVEyes doesn't pick up on key words, like client names so it helps to be more generic. Sometimes I have to search by the time of day instead of the words in the story. I also wish that there were more radio options, sometimes we get stories on regular radio and we can't get that through TVEyes. Also wish there were a feature around trending topics, like mental health - who is saying what.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's so easy to get access to the clips, especially when the stations don't post a public link. If you get mentioned in passing it is super helpful to get. I also use it to keep an eye on bigger media trending pieces, like city news, etc. We also heavily rely on it for metrics and sharing the impact and reach of tv/radio clips for clients.

  ### 5. Absolutely amazing way to monitor broadcast news coverage for your business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christina G. | Manager of Public Affairs and Communications, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TV Eyes is so easy to use and provides SO MUCH valuable information. You can set up searches for your company, a specific name, or specific topics so that you can monitor broadcast coverage for your company overall or for a specific campaign. It's great for big and small companies and is really helpful for evaluating your earned media coverage in the broadcast space, which can get pricey when trying to use other companies to do so.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

When it comes to the analytics, you can only view the ratings (number of viewers) and value per media hit. It would be great to be able to have overall numbers from multiple pieces of coverage, like across an entire campaign, a whole month or even a year, so see more "big picture" numbers and analytics. That is the only feature I feel like I'm missing out of at this time.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use another public relations media monitoring service, but it does not include any broadcast coverage. If we had added that feature on, it would have cost more than twice what we are paying for our account with TV Eyes, so while we are losing a bit of convenience by having two separate programs, TV Eyes is well worth the investment and the price for the data we're getting from it. Without it, I would have no idea when news stations are mentioning our brand in the markets we're interested in.

  ### 6. PR Manager

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Electronics | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

Being able to capture TV/radio segments that might go unreported otherwise. There are no products out there that can do this. Being able to capture Spanish broadcasts is a huge plus!

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

It would be nice to have more visual dashboards for broadcast metrics like Meltwater and Cision for non-broadcast media. Also, it would be good to be able to separate ads from actual segments.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We may not have the exact time or date when a segment airs, but many times we send out a video news release and don't have direct contact with a TV or radio outlet. TVEyes helps to track segments on a large scale.

  ### 7. Effective & Transparent

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TVEyes is an excellent service that provides real-time monitoring of media mentions, complete with detailed statistics and access to the actual clips. We rely on it for presentations, social media content, and often receive updates faster than traditional PR channels. The platform is user-friendly, transparent, and reliable. Whenever I’ve had trouble locating a specific clip, their customer service team has been prompt and helpful. Overall, TVEyes is an invaluable tool for staying informed and amplifying our messaging effectively.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Sometimes setting up certain coding doesn't pull all clips but TVEyes representatives are very quick to assist to fix codes.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking earned media
Seeing live feeds

  ### 8. Great Source for Sampling what was broadcast

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2021

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

The ease of use of the search tool; you can be as fine or as coarse as is necessary

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Expanding the editor often doubles down on the playback resulting in an echo. It is most noticeable if you use Chrome versus Firefox.

**Recommendations to others considering TVEyes:**

It is a fantastic search tool, but with the wealth of what is contained, it can be overwhelming unless you know how to use search terms.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are trying to follow our clients (broadcasters) and observe and recommend best practices. Using TVEyes makes having informed conversations with our clients straightforward; we can show up to a collaboration session with examples to reference.

  ### 9. Happy TVeyes user for many years

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TVeyes is very easy to use, both is setting up searches and getting notifications in real time and in doing power searches and day and time searches. I have used TVeyes at two different organizations since 2011 and love the product. I like that you can edit and save clips, and that they don't expire over time. I have always had good customer support and the value for the service is very reasonable. I use TV everyday in my professional work and consider it a must-have tool.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I don't really have any downsides to TVeyes. I have never had a problem with the platform.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our organization receives a lot of media coverage. As a small team, we rely on the platform to monitor the coverage which we can't always see (not to mention save the clips) in real time

  ### 10. Valuable Tool for Monitoring Media Mentions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Casey W. | M, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2020

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TV Eyes is a valuable tool in our marketing portfolio. It enables us to track mentions regarding our venue and upcoming events that we can then share with event promoters. Promoters are extremely appreciative to see the added value that our venue can bring to their event as a result of our in-house marketing and promotions.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

It does take some training to fully learn how to best utilize the TV Eyes services. I'm guilty of needing to get better acquainted with the TV eyes program and better utilize their search features to get the most out of my subscription.

**Recommendations to others considering TVEyes:**

Just like with anything, the more you put into it, the more you'll get out of it. It takes some time to set-up properly but it is a valuable resource once implemented.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Can keep track of company mentions in a compiled format without having to continuously search. Save time and can easily forward links to promoters for quick access to media mentions.

  ### 11. Easy way to track your TV mentions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lou C. | Managing director, university marketing and public relations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2018

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TV Eyes allows me to keep track of brief mentions our University gets on local television, which are things I'd otherwise not have any access to; this is critical for knowing when media picks up and uses our written outreach. It also tracks and finds clips from other parts of the country, which has led to some nice finds and mentions we'd otherwise never know about. Most importantly, it allows me to capture video when it can't be found elsewhere on the Internet. Many times, outlets do news pieces that are difficult or impossible to find on their websites, where many still are not very good and diligent at posting things in ways that are comprehensive and easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

My only complaint would that they occasionally do not track a certain outlet that I need. However, they will take requests and add outlets if they are able. I do think, also, their transcription ability sometimes needs improvement -- you risk not being able to find some things if it's not accurate. However, if you set up multiple search terms, that can often fix the problem.

**Recommendations to others considering TVEyes:**

It's a very price friendly product that does an awful lot for you. Highly recommended.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest thing is getting a better handle on the reach we get with media releases. We otherwise would have to record and watch or listen to every single news broadcast in the region every single day. Getting a handle on what's getting picked up helps us shape how we do outreach in the future. It also ensures that we are able to showcase all of our media coverage in the proper context.

  ### 12. Review of TVEyes

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelsey N. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

The most helpful thing is that it pulls broadcast clips.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

It's such an old interface. It feels like I'm operating something out of the 1990s. The functionality is too basic (not in a good way). It's analog and everything feels like, one or two steps too long. The reports are hard to pull and the saved searches don't make sense to me. I hate the way that I have to watch every single clip that is pulled and then edit them all to only capture the part my client is mentioned in. It's okay if there are one or two clips but when I'm pulling 10+ it is incredibly time consuming.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's providing viewership numbers and actual clips. It's benefitting me becuase I don't have that in my MuckRack subscription (although writing this is making me feel like I should have inquired about the cost to add it on to my existing package).

  ### 13. TV Helps to Promote Communication Planning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie S. | Director of Public Relations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

The Fort Osage School District has used TVEyes for several years. The platform helps us to not only track stories that may air on TV, but also to assign a value to those stories. In a time where staffing and budgets are tight, it is an important tool to help us review our efforts to put stories out though our local media. For stories that include our students, it is also great to be able to share the stories with them internally so they can see their efforts. Not all of our families would have access to local news and not all stories get posted to social media so being able to show the students is a great asset. TVEyes emails with storeis as they air has made the product easy to use. We have not had any issues or needed the customer support.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The downside that we have found with TVEyes is the search feature not always being as accurate as we would like. Finding just the right key words to pull a story can sometime be tricky. We have gotten much better over the years at making sure key terms are used.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes is helping us track our ROI in terms of staff time used to help media with stories. Given the value assigned to each story, it helps us look at our PR efforts with a real time value, more than just tracking number of stories. The monitoring ensures that we see our reach and are able to log past stories and refer back to them as the needs arise to do so.

  ### 14. Very happy with the platform overall.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

Easy and efficient to use. Reliable and timely results. Easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The platform does look a bit dated but this does not significantly impact the performance of the platform. Also would like to have the ability to save Power Search sessions and/or more complex boolean searches.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes' prompt and timely media coverage monitoring has been very helpful when monitoring for coverage from ongoing campaigns, time sensitive and/or breaking news, and/or issues management.

The full transcript makes it easy to understand the context of the brand mentions and makes it easy to filter out irrelevant stories.

  ### 15. The Best Broadcast Media Monitoring Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I have used TV Eyes through multiple jobs, and now in my own PR Agency. It is hands down the best for measuring media analytics of local and national news broadcasts. it is also quite affordable, compared to its competitors. The customer service is also excellent!

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I wish TV Eyes also monitored other communications tools like websites. I currently have TV Eyes and another vendor to accomplish all my needs. I also wish it saved videos more than 90 days.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TV Eyes gives me the analytics my clients want to know: reach and ad equivalency.

  ### 16. TVEyes is a seamlessly easy-to-use tool for monitoring media across the country

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bryan H. | Competitive Intelligence Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

What is most helpful about TVEyes is how easy it is to capture clips and download in an easy to share format.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The least helpful thing about TVEyes is the lack of some markets/stations such as Cedar Rapids, IA as one such example.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes assist in tracking ads and media montiring in an easy to use interface.

  ### 17. Great Media Clipping Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joanna P. | Executive Director, Media Relations and Medical Communications, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2021

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like that I can access and edit exact media clips as I want them and can download them in a timely manner. I appreciate that I can download not just the clip but the entire media package (transcripts, etc). Great for documenting where your SMEs are featured in broadcast television.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Search terms can be tricky and results may not pop up even when you know the term or name is part of the story. It does not appear possible that I can clip national broadcast media clips which is a deficit. Spanish-language TV hits are almost impossible to find. And it would be much more convenient if clips were available beyond the 30-day limit.

**Recommendations to others considering TVEyes:**

Need to know exactly when your clip ran and where. Not easy to search within the tool.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Media Tracking, media clipping and record keeping.

  ### 18. A good resource but missing some stations

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

- It is very easy to use when searching for radio and TV clips - either by searching via time/date or by keyword.
- Generally speaking, customer service has been good when issues arise.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

- Sadly, it does not monitor every station and misses key regional Heart/Capital/Smooth Radio and GHR/Hits Radio bulletins.
- Recently, the price has increased considerably, despite the service not really changing/improving.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to gather clips of broadcast interviews that our clients have done, meaning they can listen back and improve where needed.

  ### 19. TVEyes

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

What I like best about TVEyes is its powerful media monitoring capabilities. It’s really helpful for quickly searching TV and radio broadcasts to find relevant mentions or topics. The searchable archive saves a lot of time as well!

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

What I don’t like is that the user interface can feel outdated and not very intuitive at times. It sometimes takes extra effort to find certain features or reports, and the platform can be slow to load.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes solves the problem of monitoring and tracking broadcast media mentions across TV and radio, which would be nearly impossible to do manually.

  ### 20. Xfinity Racing TV Eyes Review.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bryan M. | Social Media Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

It's easy to use, especially if you know the date and time that you are looking for, but even then the keyword search works pretty well.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Nothing really, having to scroll through the cities is little tiresome, but an necessary evil to have every option. Still waiting to hear about podcasts being added to track.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have to pull TV clips to give our client a robust view of how they show up during NASCAR broadcasts. This includes our driver communication program & broadcast clips with our brand.

  ### 21. Director of media relations

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex A. | Director of media relations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TVEyes makes it rather simple to track my university's mentions on TV and then download the clip, so I can share it with our stakeholders, students and outside partners.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

There hjave been a few occasions when TVEyes hasn't picked up a mention of my university when I know it appeared on TV, including the channel and time. At the same time, on occasion, the clip to download from TVEyes will have a blip, so the sound cuts out for a second and a word or two will get cut out.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes makes it so it's easy to monitor the media, both regionally and nationally, for any mentions of my university. It also makes it, so I can easily download the clip instead of having to ask a particular TV station to send me the clip to share.

  ### 22. Superior Content Editing, But Pricey

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick M. | P, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

better editing of content than other monitoring services

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

price is high for what is is, especially if you have other services

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

being able to edit segments with better capture than 10 minute segments other services offer by default

  ### 23. Great Tool for TV Monitoring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan F. | senior manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2023

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TV Eyes is the best tool for being able to quickly find and pull clips of my clients coverage.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Sometimes TVEyes will give me coverage notifications for terms unrelated to my monitored terms that sound similar.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of client coverage on TV.

  ### 24. Mostly positive

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Louis W. | Broadcast Affairs Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

The customer service and the process of clipping interviews is quite straightforward

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

There are a lot of stations that haven't been added, and the clipping function, whilst user-friendly, is a bit long-winded

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They help us retrieve clips

  ### 25. TV Eyes for capturing the moments

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick H. | Senior Media Strategist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

It is helpful to be able to dial into dates for reports.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The older style of the website user experience, the search capabilities, the date parameters in search, the clumsiness of the downloads.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing data and clips from TV appearances

  ### 26. Easy to use and very informative.

Clipping videos can be quite difficult at times and the quality is not great.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Where we are being seen in the media.

  ### 27. Helpful Broadcast Monitoring, But Video Editing Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

Comprehensive tool for broadcast monitoring

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Hard to edit videos compared to competing products.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps stay on top of what's being said about us in broadcast media and useful for doing research.

  ### 28. TV Eyes is a website to quickly search and review broadcast content through its monitoring database

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TVEyes makes it easy to quickly find and review specific TV and radio segments without having to manually watch or listen to entire broadcast

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Something I dislike about TVEyes is that it feels a bit outdated and clunky to navigate

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes solves the problem of manually tracking broadcast coverage by letting us quickly search, locate, and review specific TV and radio mentions, saving me time and ensuring you don’t miss important content.

  ### 29. TV Eyes is the best source for finding broadcast coverage available.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle E. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like the ease of use and ability to search by specific dates, times, markets, and news sources if the keyword search doesn't pull up the results.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Sometimes the keyword search doesn't pull up the results you are looking for so you need to use more broad terms and filter through more coverage.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes finds all of the broadcast coverage I've secured and makes it easy to send reports with PR analytics to clients.

  ### 30. Great for Sharing Clips, But Custom Edits Get Lost

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

Ability to review and share clips with coworkers.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Shared clips are the AI cut, not the custom trimmed version.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Putting potential advertising value in front of decision makers.

  ### 31. Intuitive and Easy to Use

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

It is quite intuitive to use. It makes finding coverage of clients quite simple. It was easy to switch over to TVEyes from our other monitoring platform.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I have not experienced anything that causes me to dislike TVEyes.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sometimes our high-profile clients are covered on local news and it can be difficult to easily retrieve and share the news segment. TVEyes has simplified this.

  ### 32. TVEyes

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caitlin B. | Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like the quality that the product is consistent and easy to use

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The format and website seems old and stale

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pulling quick segments in a timely manner is helping

  ### 33. TV Eyes is a great tracking resource

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** kim q. | Media relations specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I don't have to go searching for coverage of my story. TVEyes makes it easy to, not only track coverage, but to grab quick clips to share with my stakeholders

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

When you go to the clip player and edit, it sends you back to the login. so you have to log in multiple times when gathering content.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps track coverage of our stories and cuts work load

  ### 34. Very Easy to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Merissa G. | communication and marketing manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I can easily find news coverage on my organization.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I haven't had any negative issues with the product.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We never have to miss a news story again.

  ### 35. Great Tool for Capturing Broadcast Brand Mentions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa D. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like using the Power Search function as it allows me to search a brand or event within certain date parameters, allowing searchability across a wide array of broadcast outlets.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Sometimes the brand or company is not picked up within the notifications, when we know that it was mentioned, and we need to watch the newscast to find the mention.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TVEyes allows us to track brand mentions across broadcast channels in select or broad media markets. With a client base that spans the nation, we are regularly pitching out in multiple media markets. Without this tool, we would be paying media monitoring services for each individual clip. And, the process would be much slower.

  ### 36. Functional, not fashionable

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

It does pretty much exactly what I want it to do in terms of sourcing the clips I want and making them easy to clip, download, and save. Its user interface is uncomplicated and makes the process easy. Downloading reports is fairly simple. Overall it is a good system.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The interface is extremely outdated looking. I don't mind, actually I like, that there are not a ton of bells and whistles to it. You see, you clip, you download. -perfect. It just looks like it was programmed in 1995 and some of the programming methods could be updated so I don't have to have 3 different tabs open at once.

I also wish that in the space where you can generate reports/searches, there were some more functional space to type the search criteria. Maybe this could mean having a coding box or booleen space.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are frequently mentioned in broadcast media and TVeyes allows us to plainly visualize how, where, and why were are being spoken about so we can anticipate the communications we need to be having internally and prepare for external responses.

  ### 37. It's fine

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TVEyes does what it needs to do. I do not have another tool that can do what TV Eyes does which is why we use it. It is simple to use. Sometimes it does not pick up our clips, but it's the best thing we have. I'd say I use it weekly. I have not tried to integrate it into anything. I have never had issues with it, but all contact with TV Eyes employees for contract renewal, etc. has been good.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

I would say the friendliness of the platform can be improved. It seems highly outdated. I have been using the platform for five years now and I don't think I have ever noticed a change.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us pick up broadcast coverage and provides a good overview of reach depending on the time and day of each outlet. I am beginning to look into the paid placement comparisons but we haven't used these yet.

  ### 38. Easy and Efficient Source for Media Mentions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer H. | Senior Manager of External Communications, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

We rely heavily on accurate, timely and comprehensive media monitoring to stay ahead in a fast-paced environment. TVEyes has been an invaluable partner in helping us track and respond to media coverage efficiently.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

While very helpful, the platform feels a bit outdated in its appearance. This does not impact its usability.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a small team and TVEyes allows us to work more efficiently.

  ### 39. Perfect for catching company's new segments

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marissa W. | Public Relations Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2022

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

TvEyes is extremely helpful when trying to reach my company's monthly value in news segments. It's simple, easy-to-use format allows me pull segments and save them for later. It has truly been a game-changer when reporting back to EMT.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The only thing I can say that I dislike about the program is how slow it can run from time to time. It can take a while for the system to pull up and I don't like that only one person from your organization can be logged in at a time. No other dislikes!

**Recommendations to others considering TVEyes:**

Do it! It is one of the best services for tracking media attention that I have seen out there.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the problem of not being able to keep a record of the organization in the media. This helps us keep a reference of how many interviews have been done and what outlets have and have not covered for us.

  ### 40. Great Resource for Quickly Accessing Radio and TV Clips!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa R. | Associate Director, Communications, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2022

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

UPDATE 11/12/2024 - I continued to be a fan of TVEyes and regularly recommend it to colleagues. From the daily emails with clip notifications based on my search terms to the ease of searching for clips to the customer support when I'm looking for obscure media sources, TVEyes is a fabulous resource for anyone who needs to collect radio and video clip reports. The analytics available are a great resource for sharing potential reach and ad equivalency.

UPDATE 10/19/23 - After a year of use, I can safely say that TVEyes is a tool that every PR person should have in their tool chest. As I previously noted, I had very quickly been able to use the tool to find relevant TV and radio clips. I have created watch terms for recurring topics and frequently use the Power Search to find 'day of' topics that are being discussed. One thing that I have also made use of over the past year is the Customer Success team. In the rare instance that I was having difficulty finding a clip or if I had a question about an outlet, the TVEyes support team has always responded promptly to either help me find the clip or answer my question. They've been great to work with.

I'm still a relatively new TVEyes user, but in the first couple of months, I've already found the site/service very beneficial. I particularly appreciate the ease with which I can set up search terms and have reports sent to me featuring TV and radio clips with those terms. While the transcription service may still need a little refinement (causing it to miss a search term occasionally), I've found that by using the Power Search, I could find the clips I was looking for. I like being able to narrow down the market and specific stations to refine my search. The editing tool is very user-friendly, making it easy to cut to the vital portion of a report featuring our speaker(s).

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

An excellent feature enhancement would be allowing the user to type in the first few letters of the market or station to narrow the search rather than having to scroll through the long list of markets.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a communications professional in a large organization, TVEyes makes it easy to show our division supervisors the output of the work that we do to build relationships with journalists, sources, etc. and how it enhances the mission and reputation of our organization.

  ### 41. Solid product, but hasn't been updated in years

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew D. | Sr. Communications Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I enjoy the unlimited saved searches and the email notification work well. In the last few years they've added a lot more high resolution downloads which is fantastic. Showing executives and employees all of the positive mentions through broadcast makes a large difference.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The site feels like it was built in the 90s. The search feature works well enough, but there's opportunity to refine the searches by general topics to see what's happening in the space.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use TVEyes to see how our company is being portrayed in the news. It also produces high quality video clips that allow us to share media coverage internally.

  ### 42. Wouldn't dream of not using the service!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robb K. | Director of Marketing and Communications, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2022

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

The ease of using the system and the information the service provides are invaluable. And that's aside from the fact that it all ends up in my inbox each day rather than having to visit each media outlet's website and hunt for the clips in the first place. In addition, their customer service is incredibly responsive and always there to assist when needed.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

There is nothing that I dislike about TVEyes.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Audience reach and the dollar equivalent/spend are wonderful. In addition, having someone else sourcing our media exposure on TV and radio rather than taking up staff time makes all the difference in the world.

  ### 43. Great Features and Easy to Use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel C. | Senior Account Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I love being able to scroll through a broadcast to clip it if it doesn't automatically show up.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Limited Radio reach and not all stations- sometimes not super easy to navigate.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clipping, sharing and reporting radio and broadcast clips for clients. Not all vendors allow downloading abilities, but TVeyes does.

  ### 44. Easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

Easy to use. I'm able to search through footage easily and put together reports to send to leadership.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Nothing so far. Just started using the service and it has been very easy to use.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a user friendly way to review all media coverage reported through TV and radio.

  ### 45. Global coverage and user friendly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Import and Export | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

It provides unmatched visibility into spoken-word media covering a vast array of broadcast. And the platform boasts an intuitive interface ensuring ease if use and seamless mobile experience.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Information overload- The sheer volume of data captured might lead to information overload if not managed with clear objectives or filters.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It leads to more informed decision- making , proactive reputations management and optimised media engagement strategies.

  ### 46. Reliable Alerts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

The confidence that I know I'll be aware if my brand is mentioned in the news

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The new Insight Platform doesn't feel as user friendly as the old platform

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Identifying our audiences and the best time/outlet to reach them with

  ### 47. Analytics pro, use TVEYES daily

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2018

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

Ease of use, quick export to Excel. Quick responsive customer service

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

Lack of ad value associated with radio. No DMA included in Excel reports. Does not have all TV stations in all markets

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Proving clients return on investment, gauging story success for clients.

  ### 48. Good value, difficult to navigate

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like the value provided. You get access to TV and streaming at the best price in the industry.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

It is difficult to navigate the site. It is not visually appealing. It is much more difficult to use than Critical Mention. I still can't figure out how to access my Media Center from within the site without signing back out and in again. Not user friendly at all.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need to post clips online, and TVEyes is helpful for that function.

  ### 49. TVEyes delivers on what is expected, and is a very useful tool to track television and radio clips.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2024

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

Power search is a big time tool, and generally it tracks the majority of mentions automatically through our saved searches.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The quality of some of the recorded stations is not always great, audio is very muffled.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to track earned media.

  ### 50. Easy to use and consistent

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2025

**What do you like best about TVEyes?**

I like the no frills platform - very straightforward and achieves the quick objective that we want. The search function is also quite good.

**What do you dislike about TVEyes?**

The only thing is the limit on clip length. I wish it was a bit longer (even 15 minutes would be helpful) as most TV interviews don't exceed that length.

**What problems is TVEyes solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A way to capture interviews that are relevant to our business leaders who are busy and not able to watch the screens that often.
