It offers a great batch capture speed, OCR, scanner recognition, VRS functionality, and a wide array of scanners with other Kofax tools. Kofax Capture is a useful tool that manages the reports in a particular specified batch immediately. Kofax Capture's Windows solution has not many configuration tools, which makes it less customizable. I think the integration between the OS and the DB has been a little sluggish and it should improve. Kofax Capture's provides a complete experience to make our work easier and our customers happier. It provides a simple process to manage how files can be organized. The recognition server and OCR full-text components are very successful, separating certain lots into documentation, recognizing the form type, cleaning images and extracting data. What do you dislike about Tungsten Capture? The procedural Kofax Capture chart usually jumps to a value far different from the actual one. But before implementing, I would recommend you to make sure that you plan the variants of DB and OS (this must be done at least a couple of months before you buy the software). Kofax Capture makes importing and exporting email better products than Captiva Open Text apps. It is fully personalizable without needing to know a lot of old-fashioned coding in order to use it. The integration with Kofax VRS, the QC plugins, and the unified QA provide some of the strongest flows for transformation of the text. Besides, customer support is awesome because they always guide us nicely, even though our problems were user error. In addition to scripting, there are about two dozens tools which can be used to define and collect information and acquire exactly which details you need for a specific market. The disadvantages presented by Kofax Capture are related to the learning process, as the majority of users don't tend to have experience with a platform such as this one. Also, the workstation permissions are somewhat limited, but are long supported and well regarded by a major well-established business. One of the aspects we respected in Kofax Capture was its Oracle UCM and Filenet adapter, as a wide range of typical issues like lines and dots can be handled by this. It is mainly used to digitalize files that would be kept in the control system for digital records. When it comes to the prices, upgrading the system is costly if a design exceeds a certain cap when it is fair for lower frequency solutions. The basic training is very important before starting using the Kofax Capture GUI and it has to be enhanced in order to be easier to understand, as it can easily get confusing. Also, when PDFs are supplied by Kofax Capture for acknowledgment of the personality, the results are very unpleasant, as the recognition precision is only 60 percent.
