It allows one to quickly become autonomous in configuring their own forms. The RUN part of the application and its updates are simple and fast. The documentation is well done and we have benefited from support for professional services. I also like that we only use a small part of the features offered by the tool as standard, which shows the richness of Tuleap. **What do you dislike about Tuleap?** We occasionally have difficulties running the application on our Kubernetes container. Support in this area could be a plus. **What problems is Tuleap solving and how is that benefiting you?** Tuleap offers a simple and comprehensive interface for ticket management. It is easy to use, allows for quick autonomy in form configuration, and the RUN part of the application as well as updates are simple and fast. ### 2. For teams experienced in agility, it allows for relevant task tracking. One can even go beyond and use Tuleap to manage projects other than IT projects, thanks to the tool's strong configuration capabilities. Finally, we like the fact that several services and plugins allow Tuleap to be interconnected with other tools such as wiki, document storage, Active Directory, etc. We have 3 versions of Tuleap: 1 version installed OnPrem on a Linux server, 1 version installed OnPrem in a containerized version, and a Cloud version hosted by the Tuleap company. The SaaS version in the cloud is obviously the simplest solution to connect. In the OnPrem versions, a bit more DevOps and Linux admin knowledge is required for the initial installation and for updates. **What do you dislike about Tuleap?** The ergonomics of the tool could be improved. The UI is good but the UX lacks fluidity. Every new user must be guided to understand how to grasp the tool, where to find information, and the little tips and tricks to know in order not to get stuck on actions that are often simple. The Docker images of Tuleap are not tagged, so reverting to a given version of the product is difficult (we end up tagging the images ourselves with the version numbers). Finally, when an action in Tuleap does not work correctly, the logs are not very informative, even for an administrator profile. **What problems is Tuleap solving and how is that benefiting you?** Tuleap allows us to facilitate exchanges between the different stakeholder teams of the projects. Even the teams that are put off by agility understand the benefits of Tuleap. Nevertheless, this requires strong support from the internal administrator. ### 3. Function overriding for our JS & CSS files is less complicated and we can facilitate seamless user interaction in its platform. We opt for Tuleap plugins to provision our Agile Dashboard and Git to capture our events and be aware of any changes made in our codes. Both controller & its plugin info is encapsulated as soon as we enable our custom plugin which is convenient for us. **What do you dislike about Tuleap?** We would like to have an auto-refresh feature to reflect recent modifications made in our plugin definitions. As of now, we have to manually refresh the cache to view the changes. Also, we need to ensure that the parameters used in our code must be unique across all events so that there aren't any misconfigurations. It would be great to have an enhancement to simplify this tedious task of maintaining our code structure. **What problems is Tuleap solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are getting familiar with the Tuleap Framework for our event management activities as we started using it recently. It helps organize our regular events which take place through hooks & system events. Unlike other Frameworks, it doesn't impose restrictions on the Event class so we can define constructors, getters, setters and private members as per our requirements. It also gives recommendations for naming our hooks based on the selection of plugins and code execution patterns. ### 10. Many of the available services are available out of the box. Some, like the Trackers, can be fully customized which is really nice since you can really adjust the data you want the user shall fill in, you can force the tasks workflow or not, etc. There is also a highly powerfull rights management included. You can also do requirements tracing with the Trackers. They also provide a monthly update of the tool, and offer a very reactive customer feedback service for those who have an Enterprise edition (and they also reply to any request they receive even if you have a community edition). **What do you dislike about Tuleap?** The admin configuration of the tracker is not very easy, at least from the user interface point of view. The included document management service is not very user-friendly either (but works fine) but they are working on it. **What problems is Tuleap solving and how is that benefiting you?** I needed a self-hosted tool which allow us to manage a complete project with full traceability of the tasks, requirements and documents as well as software versionning system. The fact that everything can be linked (for a task to a git-commit including test plan, test execution and also pull-request) was required in order to meet SIL2 functionnal safety requirements. ### 12.
