"Transformed Our Sales Process with Pods, Seamless Integrations, and Powerful AI Insights"
5/5
What do you like best about trumpet?

Since implementing trumpet to manage our buyer journeys, our sales process has completely transformed. We moved away from messy email threads with dozens of PDF attachments and started using trumpet’s "Pods" (digital sales rooms). It has fundamentally shifted how we present our value proposition and collaborate with champions during complex deals.

Here is a breakdown of our experience across key areas:

UI / UX

Instead of just saying it’s "easy to use," the best way to describe trumpet is that it removes all friction from content design. The drag-and-drop interface for building Pods saves my team hours each week. We no longer have to rely on marketing to build beautiful collateral; reps can simply pull in widgets (videos, mutual action plans, PDFs, and links) to create a highly personalized, stunning landing page for each prospect in under five minutes.

Integrations

The integrations are where trumpet truly becomes a powerhouse. The two-way sync with our CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce) is seamless. When a prospect updates a field or interacts with a mutual action plan inside the trumpet Pod, that data flows directly back into our CRM. We also love the seamless integrations with tools like Loom and Calendly—having our booking links and demo videos embedded natively directly inside the Pod keeps the buyer in one unified space without making them click away to external sites.

AI / Intelligence

One of the most unexpected benefits we’ve discovered is trumpet's AI capabilities. The AI-driven buyer intent signals are incredibly granular. The platform doesn't just tell me if a Pod was opened; its intelligence features highlight exactly which stakeholder spent the most time looking at the pricing widget versus the security documentation. The AI auto-generation tools also help us instantly spin up tailored Pod templates based on CRM data, saving us from starting from scratch.

Performance

Performance has been flawless. When dealing with enterprise buyers, you cannot afford slow load times or broken links. The Pods load lightning-fast on both desktop and mobile devices. Whether we are uploading heavy video files or embedding interactive slide decks, the buyer experience remains smooth and responsive, which makes us look incredibly professional.

Support / Onboarding

The onboarding process was remarkably structured. Instead of just handing us a login, the trumpet customer success team helped us build out our first five master templates. Their support team is highly responsive, usually getting back to us within minutes via in-app chat. The library of pre-built templates they provide also meant our reps were sending out their first Pods on day one.

Pricing / ROI

While adding another tool to the revenue tech stack is always heavily scrutinized, trumpet’s ROI became obvious within the first quarter. By centralizing all deal resources, we’ve reduced our average sales cycle by roughly 15%. The time our account executives save on manual follow-ups and formatting easily pays for the per-seat licensing cost.

Summary: If your team is still sending long emails with five different links and attachments, trumpet is the upgrade you need. It gives you control over the buyer journey, incredible analytics, and a genuinely enjoyable interface that both sales reps and buyers love. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple Insights and Easy to Use"
5/5
What do you like best about trumpet?

I find it very easy to use. Trumpet provides a good way to gain insight into which other people are involved in the decision-making process, as you can see which people have access to the environment. Creating templates is what I do the most now, so I can use them for similar occasions in the future. The initial setup was very simple, my team had already created templates, so I could get started right away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about trumpet?

I am not very good with design myself, which makes it sometimes difficult to present the information I want to show to potential customers in a professional and beautiful way. So simplifying the design within Trumpet would be nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlining Client Collaboration Made Easy"
3/5
What do you like best about trumpet?

What I like most about Trumpet is how it streamlines the buyer journey with personalized digital sales rooms. The platform is very intuitive to use, and features such as content tracking, engagement insights, and centralized document sharing make collaboration far more efficient. It’s helped cut down on unnecessary back-and-forth while providing clearer visibility into client engagement, overall deal progress, and what’s resonating with buyers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about trumpet?

One challenge I’ve noticed with Trumpet is that some customization options can feel slightly limited when trying to tailor sales rooms for different client use cases. Also, for new users, it can take a little time to fully explore and understand all the features available on the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Deal Management with a Learning Curve"
4/5
What do you like best about trumpet?

I like that trumpet is becoming easier to use. It helps me sell the way buyers actually want to buy, making it easier to align everyone on the same path and keep the momentum moving. The ability to create a clean mutual action plan and track engagement is also something I appreciate, as it helps me coach the deal better and carry insights into future deals. Additionally, the new AI features are promising, even though I'm not sure if they're out of beta yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about trumpet?

Trumpet feels a bit clunky when putting things together compared to another platform I use called Gamma App, which seems more user-friendly. The adoption process could be quicker and easier for reps like me if there was less learning curve and work involved. Even some of the fine-tuning has a learning curve, which has been a challenge. Once it's set up, I'd like it to just assemble things for me instead of relying heavily on templates, allowing for more seamless interaction with deal records or contacts. "Streamlined Digital Sales Rooms with Excellent Support"
4/5
What do you like best about trumpet?

I find that Trumpet is a simple medium and a link in an email works really well. I also really appreciate the support from the customer success team, which is useful to help us build out our pods and templates. It was nice to remove that learning curve and get some direct help to put together a really great follow-up pod that's more visually appealing and detailed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about trumpet?

I find there's some redundancy within the widgets. Some of them can be quite similar, often being just text or imaging. They are quite simplistic, but I also think that is a strength as well in some ways, our customers like to read things. I think that template creation and pod creation at the moment is quite manual, so I need to see if the new AI feature has improved that process. I found the setup for the videos didn't work as well, it can take a long time for call recordings to encode or pull through into the pods but overall the setup was simple, other than being kind of overwhelming with all the options of widgets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Vicki Threadgold of trumpet

Hi Jack and thanks for sharing your experience of trumpet. We love that it's helping to increase engagement, save time, shorten sales cycle ... so much good stuff for you, all whilst providing a great experience for your buyer too!

Thanks also for your feedback regarding widget choice. Our new flagship feature Copilot - vibe coding in trumpet - should help to reduce that through automatically creating what you ask it to do via natural language and choosing the best widget for the job. If you need more help with this, please come through via the in-app chat, contact your CSM or email vicki@sendtrumpet.com.

"Centralized Collaboration, Time-Saving Templates"
4/5
What do you like best about trumpet?

I like that Trumpet helps me share workspaces with customers for projects, making it easy to have all the information in one place. This includes comments, feedback, and tracking views into the pod. I appreciate having all types of material like recordings, documentation, videos, and PDFs centralized, which simplifies the project cycle and communication with customers, ultimately helping me close deals. The easy use of templates in Trumpet, which can be reused and cloned, saves time by not having to redo a whole pod. The initial setup of Trumpet was fairly easy, and it gets easier the more I use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about trumpet?

I find the undo button could be better. Initially, there was an easy undo button at the top, but now I have to use a cloud emoji that takes me to a new page, which makes it more complicated for me to undo multiple steps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly Customizable and Professional Tool for Sales"
5/5
What do you like best about trumpet?

I find Trumpet really customizable. There are so many different types of widgets you can use, especially from an accessibility standpoint. This variety is great for us because it helps us share and display information in different ways. It even supports those who might be better at talking than typing, allowing them to communicate their thoughts across effectively. The initial setup was pretty easy too. The team helped us with creating an initial group of templates, which made it easy to pick up and keep using. I also think Trumpet is a fantastic tool. It looks really good, professional, and it's great that you can always tweak it whenever you need to. I definitely recommend it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about trumpet?

I think perhaps the types of widgets could be grouped by the specific functions or ways they serve. That might be more helpful because there's so many of them that you have to, like, search. You have to find them. You have to know what you're searching for. So to be able to have them grouped would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Deal Closing with Trumpet"
5/5
What do you like best about trumpet?

I love how easy Trumpet is to set up, taking virtually no time at all. The way it looks is really appealing, and it's simple yet effective, which my customers appreciate too. The product saves me a massive amount of time without sacrificing quality and has been a game changer in closing deals. It's especially useful for correlating all the information together, making the closing process easier for the customer by providing a single area to view all information, call recordings, and business cases. The branding is amazing, and even my customers have asked about it. I also like the embedded phone calls and the integration with Gong, which make the process seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about trumpet?

I think Trumpet is still in a building phase. I would like to see a bit more automation, especially in creating business case items. Some of these items still have to be built outside Trumpet even though there are templates available. It would be great to have those integrated more fully. I think adding functionality for customers to comment directly and us to answer promptly would be helpful too. This might be nitpicking, but I feel these enhancements could make Trumpet even more powerful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Setup and Highly Configurable Platform"
5/5
What do you like best about trumpet?

I like most how configurable trumpet is and how easy it is to set up. I also appreciate that it gives me insight into who's engaging with my trumpet rooms, so I can better understand who is engaged and who isn't. The setup was fairly simple, and using a template to create my first room was really easy. It only took me about twenty minutes to figure out embedding things and adding widgets, which feels fairly intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about trumpet?

Nothing really. I think the challenges are probably made from a permissions perspective, like not being able to create your own templates would be one example. But, again, that's not an issue with the platform itself. It's just more of rules and permissions we have set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized Client Communication Simplification"
5/5
What do you like best about trumpet?

I use Trumpet to create rooms to send to customers after my sales calls, which compiles documents like Sales/Marketing use cases and customer testimonials, making everything centralized and convenient for my customers. They love having all the resources in one place, and it prevents me from having to send multiple documents separately. This centralization makes life easier for my clients, as they don't have to download everything to view them and can share it internally.

It's also nice to have insight on which client is viewing what so that I can tailor followups accordingly and with purpose.

Also, the reps at Trumpet are very responsive and on the ball if we ever need anything! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about trumpet?

Absolutely nothing! The upcoming integration with Claude will be super. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
